Was going to get Ramsey for Lallana, not Silva, but looks like I might be forced that way. Hope it’s not serious, he’s in my TOTS.

How exactly do you work out the team of the season with so many benched players?
Basically they are honourable mentions. I think the starting XI have been slightly better (it’s hard to call, it’s my opinion).
Azpil would definitely have been in there for me.
Over Baines and Shaw? He didn’t start playing until GW11. I agree though, he’s been class.

I’m not talking about a FPL team of the season, there is no budget. Just a team of the season in general.
That’s what I thought you were doing too TJ, and yes, started late but I’d be tempted to put him in there over Shaw. Both have been class though.
My team of the season:
Marshall
Coleman, Skrtel, Distin, Shaw
Silva, Yaya, Gerrard, Hazard
Suarez, Rooney
Skrtel has seven goals. SEVEN! That’s insane from a CB. Liverpool is the most threating team on set-pieces, and he’s a major reason why. At the start of the season he was a reserve people thought would be sold, now he’s a firmly established first-team player.¨
People thought Jagielka was Everton’s most important defensive asset, but while he’s been injured Distin has really shined and carried Everton’s defense on his shoulders.
Rooney over Sturridge merely because he contributes so much to the team, he’s been the sole shining point and carried the team on his shoulders in a very tough season.
Damn these players getting injured again!!!
Aguero probably, and now Silva too, who looks quite serious.
So bummed. Aguero does this to me every time!! Great player but so fragile. i need a team of men, not Argentine fancy boys. Makes you appreciate Suarez all the more, that guy could run though a brick wall and it wouldn’t even phase him.

Dreamer, I like your thinking. Not convinced by the city defence (although most got attacking returns today!!) they still look likely to concede. Im going to have aug/Roon/Suar as my forward line next week.
