Well GW30 plus is in the books (cue the fake crowd noise) and onto GW31+ we go.
As always we shall endeavour to post the line-ups prior to each phase of the relevant GW and our usual FPL Countdown Timer (to be found above the latest comments section) is once again be active.
Tips will be dispensed in the chat below but feel free to get involved in said chat, whether that’s asking for advice or answering others.
FF247 SITE TEAM GW31+
This is where LMC takes a slight twist. Given the lack of opportunity to post any full or meaningful articles it is our intention to simply post our weekly transfer and Captain choice on here prior to each deadline. As a result this article will be posted way in advance of when it usually is, probably not long after any given GW ends.
Our GW30+ Result, in brief
Yep, we nearly got there but some combo of Pep, Aguero and Egan defeated our 100 point ambition. We landed on 96. Captain Kun managed just 55 minutes across his DGW, albeit with two assists. Sterling was the only one of our City boys to actually register 90, albeit all in one game. Doherty somewhat rescued us with his 12 in his SGW and clearly we should have captained KdB as he top scored with 15.
As for our rank we have risen about 25k this week, a green arrow is better than a red arrow so we will take it. That makes 4 out of the last 5 GWs that we have risen, so the trend is good, now we just need to get inside 100k and make a late push up the overall. The site team now sits in 141,956th place. Here is the side that almost made us triple digit proud. 
GW31+ TRANSFER
We have SOLD and BOUGHT…… nobody
We may be doing this in a slightly unorthodox fashion but one of the reasons we played our Free Hit last week was that we liked our team, as it was, for GW31+. Turns out we liked it that much that we felt we may be somewhat justified to play our BB this week. That was until Leno (or more accurately Maupay?) put paid to that thought. We could have replaced him but in all honesty whoever came in would probably simply end up playing second fiddle to Pope for the remaining games. So we’ve left that thought for now and feel we have a strong XI for this week.
GW31+ CAPTAIN
Our Captain for GW31+ will be Raúl Jimenez
Jimmy got the majority of the votes and it’s easy to see why for anybody who witnessed both his and Bournemouth’s performances in GW30+.
Our Vice-Captain will be Bruno Fernandes. Should Jimmy fail to start we’re confident that Bruno can step into the breach as he’s faces a Sheffield United defence shorn of Henderson, Egan & potentially O’Connell.

I’d downgrade Lundstram to free up cash. On Jota, I have a feeling he’s going to do well this gameweek, but I’m not confident how he’ll be in future rounds between now and the end of the season. Going without KDB is a big shout, certainly not one I’d be brave enough to make! I’m not sure on Pogba’s game time either, if I’m honest. Oh and quite a bit of money in your goalkeepers, unless you have bench boost plans to play both of them?
Just used bb last gameweek. I think mahrez really impressed and he played both games which I thought was promising. I know what you mean with pogba but think he will start the remaining games. I can’t afford kdb thats where my issue is here
Rashford or Vardy ?
Vardy may get more this gameweek, but I think Rashford will between now and the end of the season

atm its rashford considering Sheffield are missing their keeper & 2 1st choice defenders. Think i prefer his fixtures over Vardy long term too

I’d go Holgate and Guendouzi. That leaves you £0.1m extra for any future transfers in a sense that Guendouzi at £4.2m can just sit on your bench, whereas you’ll probably want to play Holgate.
yeah, think thats a better plan – he can stay as my 3rd sub & sit there hopefully never to be seen!

Hiya lads, thoughts on this WC team?
– United showed good form before the break and have great fixtures. I think that they will get clean sheets. Is de Gea’s place under threat though?
– Had Lascelles in place of Ritchie before his recent haul. Considering the money in the bank and Ritchie’s more advanced position and set piece duties, why not have Ritchie instead, despite that involving spending 5.3 on a Newcastle defender?
– I think TAA, Ritchie, and Doherty will start for me with Aurier and Taylor on the bench. Perhaps just get Holgate instead of Aurier and save the money?
– Richarlison is there for the Norwich fixture. He’s gone next GW, most likely for Martial or Pogba.
– Thoughts on Bergwijn? Thought he looked really fresh. 3 goals in 6 starts. Son and Kane were invisible imo.
– Happy with triple Wolves, at least for the next few matches. Don’t trust Traore’s playtime as starting him will require a formation change and why change a winning formula for one player?

– Is de Gea’s place under threat though? I’d be inclined to put in a cheap ‘keeper and use the money to put in someone like Wan B or Maguire if you want Man U defensive cover
– Lascelles v Ritchie? I get your point, just bear in mind you have a lot of good players to just be sat on your bench.

That’s also the trouble with these expensive players like Salah and Mane, yes they can get good hauls but you don’t want to mess up your team for just one or two players. The collective points from other decent but cheaper players could outweigh that.
This is me I think. Just got to decide on bench. I think Greenwood could see a fair amount of mins coming up. Any suggestions in general? Lowton should be first choice as it don’t look like Baardsley his competition is signing a contract.
