Fantasy Football Live Match Chat DGW34
Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat DGW34. Its double time!! A huge week of footy awaits, 14 games, starting on Saturday and with at least one game each day until we finish on Thursday. Wow. We kick off Saturday lunchtime with a date on the south coast as FA Cup semi-finalists Southampton and Chelsea have a warm-up for their Wembley date next week. Just four 3pm matches follow as Burnley host Leicester, Brighton go up to Palace, Huddersfield welcome Watford and Swansea and Everton meet at the Liberty. The first evening match, yes there are two, this week is that good(!) sees Liverpool host Bournemouth before the main event sees Wembley welcome Man City as they play Spurs. Don’t book any plans for Saturday evening!
Sunday is a calmer affair – Arsenal travel up to Newcastle before Man Utd enjoy shooting practice at West Brom.
Monday evening sees a night under the lights at West Ham. That used to be intimidating until they moved house. Stoke are the visitors and Arnie gets a go at his former employers.
Midweek sees the 2nd game for our double game-weekers. We start Tuesday as Spurs venture down to Brighton.
Wednesday sees Man Utd also take a trip to the south coast, to Bournemouth before we finish on Thursday with our last two matches as Burnley host Chelsea and Leicester welcome the hapless Southampton.
What’s not to like eh? Go well.

Just playing with some initial Free Hit teams for next week…
1) how nailed is Jesus?
2) is Firmino, Salah & Mane a bit OTT?
Jesus is well nailed. :big-lol:
I didn’t even mean the pun!!!!
I think Jesus is nailed this weekend. Can’t see Aguero being fit enough and if he is he will be on bench. Certainly having Jesus myself.
Possibly with Liverpool playing champions league a few days later it’s a bit dodgy. Think I’m favouring Karius or VVD Liverpool are running out of centre halves so think he will play
will wait for pep’s presser on point 1. Keep Jesus in your initial free hit team for now. with the champions league game 3 days later for LFC, expect rotation and have 2 of them in your lineup.
Lingard benched, no Bailly
How’s this for a free hit first stab?
Pickford (Elliott)
VVD, Mustafi, Baines (Long, Dummett)
Salah, KdB, Sterling, Zaha (Cork)
Firmino, Auba, Jesus
Pretty worried that Salah gets rested.
Looks good I’m more worried about Firmino than Salah as he wants the golden boot. He was pretty greedy
Yea the Liverpool thing is tough isn’t it. If they didn’t have such an appealing fixture I’d be tempted to leave them alone completely. I’m also not sure on double Everton at the back, given Newcastle’s form.
Yeah really have no idea which makes it so difficult. Not a great deal of options though is there
Flaming hell Banj, nailing, now stabbing.
Wow Arsenal really is nothing without Ramsey.
Hey Banjo. Been away this weekend.
El Classicoast moved another step forward this weekend.
Looks like that lot up the road are going down
Hey Horse. I’ve still got a feeling they could survive. They’ve actually played very well in their last 2, and Huddersfield have a shocking run in. If they lose to Bournemouth I’ll feel much more comfortable. That said, are you not slightly concerned at the prospect of playing em next year?! Their current team would batter us!
You don’t watch them do you Banjo? No doubt you got your stripey hat and rattle.
I got tickets for the Charlton and Peterborough matches. So one step at a time. We’ll see how it pans out
4 years of living in Australia I watched them far more than I got to see Pompey! I’m quite happy to watch. It’s generally the premier league result that I feel most passionately about!
Oh!!
Do you live in Oz now Banjo now?
Nah not any more mate. I moved back a couple of years ago. It was pretty impossible to watch Pompey out there though, so I became accustomed to just following whoever they were playing each week!
Get in!!!!! Sunderland going down and the mags are staying up, the mags are staying up, the mags are staying up! Going down, staying up, going down, staying up!!! La la la
Happy Rosco?
Over the bloomin moon!!
