Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat DGW34. Its double time!! A huge week of footy awaits, 14 games, starting on Saturday and with at least one game each day until we finish on Thursday. Wow. We kick off Saturday lunchtime with a date on the south coast as FA Cup semi-finalists Southampton and Chelsea have a warm-up for their Wembley date next week. Just four 3pm matches follow as Burnley host Leicester, Brighton go up to Palace, Huddersfield welcome Watford and Swansea and Everton meet at the Liberty. The first evening match, yes there are two, this week is that good(!) sees Liverpool host Bournemouth before the main event sees Wembley welcome Man City as they play Spurs. Don’t book any plans for Saturday evening!
Sunday is a calmer affair – Arsenal travel up to Newcastle before Man Utd enjoy shooting practice at West Brom.
Monday evening sees a night under the lights at West Ham. That used to be intimidating until they moved house. Stoke are the visitors and Arnie gets a go at his former employers.
Midweek sees the 2nd game for our double game-weekers. We start Tuesday as Spurs venture down to Brighton.
Wednesday sees Man Utd also take a trip to the south coast, to Bournemouth before we finish on Thursday with our last two matches as Burnley host Chelsea and Leicester welcome the hapless Southampton.
What’s not to like eh? Go well.

Just a quick question, that I’m sure has already been posed a good few times – if you make the changes to your squad and activate the free hit chip – are you then able to make tweaks for the rest of the week before the deadline?

Dumb question. How do I activate the FH? I put in four proposed changes, and it did not offer mer a FH; in fact, it offered to deduct 12 points?
Ki – dumb question, you didn’t happen to play it on gw31 for example?
You need to make your transfers as per usual but on the confirmation pop up (the one that shows people going out and in and the hit situation) the free hit option should be available there. It was for me last night anyway.
Just above that it will say play free hit. Comes up if it’s -4 or more. On the confirm transfers bit

Thanks once again. I was afraid to go into the “confirm” area for fear of messing up. And no, DMC, I’ve been watching 247 advice carefully, and saving the FH for 35. Mind, some of my ML rivals did go in 31! Lucky me, I think.
Yes hun!! I just activated mine as Zaha and Long are going up in price tonight! That said I don’t think money is going to be an issue but might as well keep on top of price rises just Incase!

Hey all,
Am I crazy to be playing be free hit and thinking of not having Salah? Just concerned that he’ll be rested with champs league a few days later. I am just thinking that having firmino & mane have similar risks but aren’t as expensive (for me) if they don’t play.
Not having Salah means I can strengthen elsewhere. Would appreciate your thoughts. Who would you say are free hit essentials?

I tried a FH team and to be honest money doesn’t seem to be an issue so I’d rather have him and good bench player ‘just in case’ than to not have him!
Hey Rosco, that sounds fair enough to me! Money is always an issue for me as with him it makes another 1 or 2 players worse. Just finding it hard to get the right balance.
It seems more balanced without him but then I don’t like the risk of not having him if he plays
