Fantasy Football Live Match Chat DGW34

Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat DGW34. Its double time!! A huge week of footy awaits, 14 games, starting on Saturday and with at least one game each day until we finish on Thursday. Wow. We kick off Saturday lunchtime with a date on the south coast as FA Cup semi-finalists Southampton and Chelsea have a warm-up for their Wembley date next week. Just four 3pm matches follow as Burnley host Leicester, Brighton go up to Palace, Huddersfield welcome Watford and Swansea and Everton meet at the Liberty. The first evening match, yes there are two, this week is that good(!) sees Liverpool host Bournemouth before the main event sees Wembley welcome Man City as they play Spurs. Don’t book any plans for Saturday evening!

Sunday is a calmer affair – Arsenal travel up to Newcastle before Man Utd enjoy shooting practice at West Brom.

Monday evening sees a night under the lights at West Ham. That used to be intimidating until they moved house. Stoke are the visitors and Arnie gets a go at his former employers.
Midweek sees the 2nd game for our double game-weekers. We start Tuesday as Spurs venture down to Brighton.

Wednesday sees Man Utd also take a trip to the south coast, to Bournemouth before we finish on Thursday with our last two matches as Burnley host Chelsea and Leicester welcome the hapless Southampton.

What’s not to like eh? Go well.

  3. FFS! This GW is some load of c**k!

    • Ha ha.My mini league leader is killing me by barely bothering with the dgw mallarkey.City Pool and bloody Milli racking the points up for him ! Still midweek games to go but i can see plenty of rotation.

  4. Beat City one week lose at home to bottom of the table the following week.Wtf ?

  5. This year DGW’s are a f***ing nightmare !!

  6. Which of these FH’s do you guys prefer?

    A.
    Ederson/ Hennessey
    Coleman/ Monreal/ Long/ Lowton / Masuaku
    Salah/ KdB/ Zaha/ Arnie/ Kenedy
    Tosun/ PEA/ Jesus

    B.
    Ederson/ Nordfeldt
    Coleman/ Robertson/ Ward/ Long/ Masuaku
    Salah/ Sterling/ Zaha/ Arnie/ Mili
    Firmino/ PEA/ Jesus

    C.
    Karius/ Hennessey
    Coleman/ VVD/ Ward/ Long/ Masuaku
    Salah/ Sterling/ Sane/ Zaha/ Arnie
    PEA/ Jesus/ Perez

    • B for me Matt. Depending on the Liverpool line-up.

      • Cheers Init. I’m currently on B but was looking at C if the Liverpool lineup shows Firmino and that out. I personally think they might get rotated.

        • I’d almost certainly have two versions on the go anyway Matt. There’s no telling when that Liverpool line-up will materialise on twitter and if it’s 30 mins before the deadline or something daft then you need your plan B to hand.

        • That’s very true mate!

      • What are your concerns here, Init? Rotation due to CL I’m guessing. You hoping for an early release on twitter, again? Have all three of their forwards in my side, but quite tempted to take a hit to replace one if the line-ups are hinting at one missing from the fold.

        • I think Firmino and Salah are most likely to get rested. Solanke and Ings can fill in for them easily. VVD should be nailed mainly because we only have 2 CB’s as everyone else seems to be injured.

        • There’s no way Salah, Mane & Firmino all start.

        • The trouble with the Anfield Express tweets is that they tend to be more than simply hints! They tend to be 100% accurate. I’m having 2 FH teams ready in any case. It’ll be retweeted by the site handle and put up on here if they do decide to be ever so helpful and tell us the team as usual.

        • Perhaps I need to save my FT then. Hopefully it is Mane as I’d be happy to replace him but I can’t see it either.

    • Bravo needs 4 games to get a medal I’d ditch Ederson

      • That means Ederson is benched for 4 of the next 5. Is that realistic?

        • Don’t see why not. League is won Pep likes Bravo why take the chance

        • I was thinking this. Surely not.

      • Ah right cheers Smash. I forgot about that.

        • Would you suggest Bravo and Hennessey so. Just in case Ederson does play?

        • I’d just avoid having a City keeper. Plenty of other decent options

        • Good point. The only nailed keepers (that are decent) though are Hennessey and Pickford. Pope would be nice but bit worried Heaton may get last few games so he can try get to Russia.

        • Is this a parody account of our weekly Burnley reporter? smile

        • Nope. I didn’t do Burnley this week but Heaton has been on the wings in the last few weeks. Hopefully more will be said in the presser.

        • Has he?! When did Stuart Pearce take over.

        • Matt

Sean Dyche is the Burnley manager not the England one.

He’ll play what suits Burnley best which based on form, is probably sticking with Pope.

        • Hahah that’s true!

      • That’s a medal for Mendy then. Just.
