Fantasy Football Live Match Chat DGW34

Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat DGW34. Its double time!! A huge week of footy awaits, 14 games, starting on Saturday and with at least one game each day until we finish on Thursday. Wow. We kick off Saturday lunchtime with a date on the south coast as FA Cup semi-finalists Southampton and Chelsea have a warm-up for their Wembley date next week. Just four 3pm matches follow as Burnley host Leicester, Brighton go up to Palace, Huddersfield welcome Watford and Swansea and Everton meet at the Liberty. The first evening match, yes there are two, this week is that good(!) sees Liverpool host Bournemouth before the main event sees Wembley welcome Man City as they play Spurs. Don’t book any plans for Saturday evening!

Sunday is a calmer affair – Arsenal travel up to Newcastle before Man Utd enjoy shooting practice at West Brom.

Monday evening sees a night under the lights at West Ham. That used to be intimidating until they moved house. Stoke are the visitors and Arnie gets a go at his former employers.
Midweek sees the 2nd game for our double game-weekers. We start Tuesday as Spurs venture down to Brighton.

Wednesday sees Man Utd also take a trip to the south coast, to Bournemouth before we finish on Thursday with our last two matches as Burnley host Chelsea and Leicester welcome the hapless Southampton.

What’s not to like eh? Go well.

  1. I love Milner!! Hahah :hippo:

  2. Was that og?

    • Nope Eriksen’s goal smile

      • Glad I kept him instead of sacrificing him for Kane.

    • Kane gonna get that assist?
Kind of looked like the one they gave to Shaqiri last weekend.

      • Doubt it. Ironically reminiscent of his none assist for Alli in the last DGW. In fact that was the best none assist of the season if you remember it.

        • Did Shaqiri keep that assist last weekend? They were almost identical in that it was a pass to someone who’s shot was deflected back off them and in, right?!?!

      • Cant see why they havent given that ??

  3. Right heres one for you boffins. In my mess about team i used my FH this week. I still have WC, TC + BB, how would the 3 chips left be best utilised over the remainder of the season ?

    • wth did you use FH this week?

Anyway – fuck knows – what does it look like? It all comes down to GW35. Whats your team like for that atm?

    • WC 36. BB 37 and TC PEA in 38.

      • I’m tempted by PEA TC in 35 against West Ham. Just worried about rotation. Matt might be right in suggesting saving it for 38.

  4. What a shocking GW so far!!

    • Its not great is it mate – the guy top of my ML has had no real DGW strategy and he is murdering me – Firmino, Salah, Tomkins, Milo

      • Very similar to mine with a relatively close rival. Left his team with the Liverpool attacking trio in it, captained Firmino. I shifted them all bar Salah in my FH!

      • Save your salvo’s until you’ve had your other 13 or 15 or whatever players play as opposed to their 5 or so.

    • I don’t mind it. 44 points here. My defence has let me down a good bit though.

  5. How’s this for a FH team?

    • Not sure if KDB returns warrant the inclusion. PEA captain over Tosun I would think

      • I debated KdB might swap him to Sterling. As for the bench I think it’s best to have back up.

        • decent line-up. sterling/sane should replace KDB. nice gamble there with arnie.

        • Cheers eresh. I’m not sure on Arnie to be completely honest

        • you could go triple city on attack and bring in pickford to replace ederson

        • Ohh that could be an option. Cheers I’ll give it a think

    • I’d also go a weaker bench to allow more money for first team

      • I’m not sure weaker bench is the way to go for a free hit team this GW. I say that with the potential rotation of Arsenal and Liverpool

        • depends who you pick I guess Smash. For example , if Ederson, you dont need a playing sub. Maybe one playing sub outfield?

    • is there a reason for mane exclusion? he is banned for first leg of semi, if you don’t intend to play lawton why not go for gamez who is 3.9 and would free up cash.

      • I did not know Mane is suspended. I’ll definitely be having him

        • Mane isn’t suspended. Yellow cards wiped for the semi finals of the champions league.

        • he isn’t banned. he only picked up 1 yellow so far in the campaign plus there has not been no official news about it.

        • Thanks that scraps that idea possibly then

        • sorry my bad i was convinced he was banned after picking up yellow against man city.
