  1. Manchester United: De Gea; Jones, Smalling, Blackett; Lingard, Fletcher, Herrera, Young; Mata; Rooney (c), Hernandez

  2. Blackett and Lingard make their MUFC debuts today. Lingard supposedly playing wingback.

Swansea: Fabia?ski; Rangel, Williams, Amat, Taylor, Ki, Shelvey, Dyer, Sigurðsson, Routledge, Bony.

  3. Morning all
I just want to say a massive thanks too FF247 team and those who helped with the articles and good luck too you all smile

  4. Ideal scenario for the first game – Mata and Rooney score but United concede last minute penalty. van Gaal subs De Gea out for Lindegaard and Siggy gets a goal from the rebound of the missed Bony pen.
    It could happen guys. 😉

    • Or… DDG stops the penalty and Siggy scores the ball that got back to him? 😛

    • Morning fellas – ahh so it has begun – good luck everyone!

Bihom that would be fantastic! laugh

  5. Afternoon all, who did we all captain then?

    Sturridge myself.

    • I think Yoshida might be starting for Southampton so I’m on the Sturridge (c) and the new model SAS.

    • Risky. Southampton conceded just 4 goals this preseason. Liverpool 9. 😉

Anyway, Liverpool had much harder opponents.

I captained Rooney and viced Costa.

      • Template Raz. Probably the correct choice I imagine but I’m going for it from the off!

        • Hehe, one of my direct Dutch opponents went with Hernandez, Rooney and Mata. For some reason it paid off. HAHA. I figured, YES he has Hernandez. However fogot Welly is feeling sick in the belly. sad

        • Shrugs, never betting against you. You always end up in the top 50k no matter what. Freaking arse. 😛

Mehehe, no seriously. 😉 And never give out ya winning team till it is too late. Though, I guessed you were going for Daniel and your team would be build around him, Costa and Rooney.

    • init – Costa (c), Rooney (vc).

      • Nice NIN. I like you and init’s bravery! I’m with Raz and the template.

        • Sound choice jamesimmo.

        • Not sound choice, second choice. Rooney is first choice (C), Costa (VC). 😛

        • Good for ya, doing my sloppy second. 😉

        • sloppy seconds even…

:finger: at the makers/mod of the site refusing to me an edit button. Great job on the articles though, guys. So you’re forgiven. laugh

    • Same person i voted for in the poll, puncheon of course!

Best of luck to you all, and thanks to everyone for the work they’ve put in over the last few weeks, whether it be writing articles or rating teams.

Cant believe how quickly things have gone, it seems only yesterday my beloved Germany won the WC!
