O’brien on 34 BPS. How’s that even possible given that he was subbed after 60 mins?
It seems his owners were very lucky.
Leicester again! Oh dear Everton…
Spurs!
Oh Dier 😉
So far, never more than one goal between the two teams, and never more than two goals scored. Well, hopefully, that’s all about to change.
That’s right folks, brace yourselves, up next is the Arsenal and Rambo show!
Ok, this new bp system is quite odd. Pieters was great in the first half as I mentioned earlier, haven’t seen much of the rest of the match. ANyhooooooooooooo. Stoke concede 1 goal but Pieters is still on 1 BPS, Vlaar on 2 BPS and the goalscorer on 3 I think.
Also, it seems the new BonusPointSystem is also a bit more kind towards the goalies. Guzan almost got BPS, the Hull goalie is set on 2 bps and Lloris on 1.
Last year goalies had to get 9 saves or more to outpoint a defender when having a CS. Or a penalty stop would also do the job. Still, this is much more fair.
Aah yes, last point. If in some odd way Pieters does get BP’s than I still don’t know if the new system favors backs or central defenders.
Where are you getting your information from mate?
McGregor will get two for a CS and Pen save. No others are even close.
Last year favoured GK and DEF with CS.
Rarely the goalie got BPS after CS, like I said it had to made several saves (6 or more) to get close to any central defender. For instance Cech got 1 BPS last season, Terry 29 and Cahill 18. So I don’t see how that favoured the goalies. I also remember having countless of cleansheets and the goalie rarely getting a point. Yeah Krul, after he made 15 saves versus Spurs.
Last year a penalty stop and 100’s of saves would give a goalie a shot at BPS. Most of it is just common sense. I’m looking at the stats now, where they stand.
It’s much better Raz, no multiple points for CS defenders. With more criteria, you’ve got to earn the BPs.
Yeah, it also seems much more fair. The best defenders that do the most get the most BPS.
Have a look at the BPs given to Speroni, Begovich, Adrian et al last year when their teams got CS mate. This same advantage was also afforded to DEFs for CS.
Pieters will get one today from his great overlapping and crossing and defensive blocks. Vlaar will get two from his critical blocks and clearances. Hutton was right up there with these two prior to getting his YC for time wasting.
Pieters is on 2 BPs now! woop woop
LMAO, that’s just hilarious. We really have to work out how this new system works and whom it favors? HAHA.
Shite, I had van Aanholt in my team before, just released him. And yes, he got an assist. I knew he’d do well scoring/assisting.
