  2. Only now, thanks to MOTD commentary, have I realised Bojan is pronounce ‘Bo-yan’ and not with a ‘j’ as I have read in my head til now… #DareToBoyan laugh

    So 49 points but Davies didnt play and Vlaar on the bench. Costa and Dzeko stil to play smile

    So my question is… should I swap Davies for Dier? or who for 5m?
    Also what about Chambers? his 4.5m and hosts Everton next week and think Mert will be back the week after…

    • Shep, I’m stuck with Chambers too, but only plan on benching him (for Clyne) this week then I’ll assess him the week and take him out if necessary.

      Dire would make you a small profit but I’d never even heard of him before today and he might not be nailed on… or is he? As for 5.0m – plenty of options – perhaps someone to cover for Vlaar’s bad run of games.

        Same here, but he started and played well… his also 5m. And with the red card surely his nailed on for a bit?

        Will bench Chambers next GW but wondering who is best at 4.5m to replace him…
        Got Debuchy Chambers Davies Vlaar and Duff in defence

        • Davies —–> Dier might be wise then.

          Next week, you’ll have Chambers and Duff benched, so you need to replace Davies really and Dier seems like the most appropriate replacement.

          As for GW3, given that Spurs play Liverpool and Burnley play United, you’ll want Dier and Duff benched. Therefore, your 4.5m Chambers replacement needs a good GW3 fixture, so let’s see…

          Coloccini, Ferdinand or N. Taylor (if starting) would be my recommendations.

        • Had Taylor for Chambers originally and took a gamble with Chambers for the 1st few GW, but after seeing Taylor today he wasnt that great…
          Think Col will be my choice, just hope he doesnt go up in price…
          Might do Dier now actually, since he will rise soon since no one wil have him and now everyone knows him haha

        • unless I do Chambers and Davies out for Lovren and Wisdom…

      I have Davies too. I don’t know how/if/when he’ll get into the team. Not sure why they bought him really.

      Not too familiar with the spuds but does naughton getting sent off improve Davies odds of playing next week.

      Maybe hold fire on the transfer for now.

        Also dont know why they brought him and Vorm to sit on the bench…
        But Naughton is a CB and Davies a LB so wont really impact him… Im more concerned about Dier and also why they didnt go with Dawson?

  5. My team is feeling very empty going into tomorrow’s games…I can only pray that Liverpool and City are both involved in boring, low scoring games tomorrow – gotta be optimistic.

    • Ditto Rowan – no coverage from either team – only Tadic playing tomorrow.

      • At least you have somebody to root for…i’ll be on the sofa for 4 hours tomorrow praying i see nothing but injuries during the games!

      And I have no liverhampton players either.

      All about Monday night and triple Chelsea for me.

      • Newcastle cleansheet tomorrow wouldn’t upset me at all to be honest.

        Monday is the big one for me as well: Terry, Fab and Costa (c) will hopefully keep me in the top 100k for GW1
