Cookie
Evening all, everyone happier tonight?!!
jamesimmo
I was happier yesterday Cookie! But still, all is well, how have you fared?
monty(CAZ DAZ)
Cookie-I reckon you had Sterling..
Rajey
You sound very happy cookie, almost Dzeko Sterling happy, hmmm?
Andy
I’ve gone from 13 points to what looks like 47 after the bonuses are added, the agony and the ecstasy of playing fantasy all bundled into GW 1 and it’s not even finished yet, looking forward to tomorrow’s game.
EBC
I would’ve been very happy if Pool stayed 1-1.
10 points from Henderson and Dzeko though so decent day for me.
Rajey
One last ask before I do it.
Siggy in for Eriksen, good move?
Don’t want to take a hit, thinking I’ll field Blackett,Ferdinand,Chester and if Blackett doesnt’ start I should have Duff coming in.
Any input appreciated before I make a move, cheers
monty(CAZ DAZ)
Would say yes..
EBC
Yes, go for it and consider a hit later in the week.
monty(CAZ DAZ)
I don’t know much about this lad Kostas Manolas. Heard that he’s having a medical at Arsenal and a CB. Is he any good?
That almost puts a nail on the Chambers wagon.
jamesimmo
If Chambers got 6 points I wouldn’t have minded… but now it’s become a really stupid punt AKA a wasted free transfer. Only gonna bench him this week.
Jeet T4
Which one would you transfer out ?
Giroud or Jovetic
TheDreamers
if ur set on it definitely Jovetic
Andy
I’d wait till after the Champions league game this week Jeet but I’d probably lose Jovetic, now that Aguero looks semi fit.
brookyboy
Neither i’d give them both another week at least then re-assess.
Ant0800
Anyone think Naismith for 5.0m is a good gamble. Barkley is injured so he could be a cheap 3rd striker option.
monty(CAZ DAZ)
And good one too. Decent finisher as well. Well worth a punt !!
monty(CAZ DAZ)
Fixtures say “no” though.
EBC
Decent option but I’d favour Long if you had an extra 1m available.
TheDreamers
Ant – no
Lukaku back shortly.
monty(CAZ DAZ)
Lukaku and Naismith can play together. It’s Mirallas that I would worry.
monty(CAZ DAZ)
I mean Naismith would be a thereat when Mirallas gets completely fit and joins back.
Ant0800
Lukaku is back already, that doesn’t really change anything.
praveen
Who should i get in? Sterling or Sigurdsson?
Who should I transfer out?
monty(CAZ DAZ)
Gerrard needs to go out. He did not involve anywhere in the attacking threats, only the set pieces and the corners. Not good for his price. At that price I would get Rambo ASAP. Arsenal coverage is necessary. You have Sturridge as the Pool coverage anyway.
Fabregas is another option but keep a track on his game tomorrow. If he does well get him. A straight swap would do.
Andy
I’d leave your first FT till next Friday but if you do go for Sterling you’d have to lose Gerrard
Calvin Clyne
I’d recommend Gerrard for Siggy, giving you a cool 3.0 for your next transfer.
praveen
Thanks everyone!! I just realised pool have city next.. Gerrard>Sigurdsson makes sense now.. Probably Sterling next week..
elleffcee (ex champ with a potty prize)
Praveen, i deffo lose Gerrard, Pool were poor today + Gerrard was even worse, Soton played really well, Tadic looked impressive, not so much Pelle, he was just big + clumbersome, but he will probably get goals here + there. Sterling did things in fits + starts + Sturridge did lose possession a lot, Coutinho was quiet aswell, hence not many chances created.
