Well I have a 10 pt lead with Cahill and Costa remaining, and my opponent has Filipe Luis (Siggy 1st sub) and Costa (c) remaining, so if Costa has a monster haul I’m in trouble.
Howdy Bench. Not looking good i’m afraid, 28 behind with Terry, Fabregas, Costa (c) left to play, opponent has just Terry. Need Chelsea to hammer Burnley.
Hey Bench, congrats. We had a high scoring duel in Qualification B but I won my first tie 68-59. We both have Terry and Costa playing tomorrow so our scores will (hopefully) go up, but he can’t overtake me.
I have a strategy question for you though. Do you ever find yourself making a transfer to try and win a H2H match against an opponent after checking out their squad, that you probably wouldn’t make if you weren’t trying to beat them? I want to do as well as possible in the H2H matches, but I don’t want my regular FPL season to suffer because of it.
Red – I find it best to ignore opponents teams as much as possible. Just try and get the best out of your squad and you should do okay. The higher your gwk average, the harder you are to beat so i think just playing normally is the way to go, see what happens.
I do that sometimes. I also sometimes captain a player that the opponent doesn’t have in their team. It’s a matter of your priorities, I myself would rather qualify to the Banterbury’s than achieve an excellent ranking.
To be more precise, I’d never captain a player just because my opponent doesn’t have them. Say if I have Rooney and Costa, and my opponent has Costa, I could go with Rooney (c) if they both could be expected to score about the same amount of points.
Right on, thanks NIN and Tekno. I’ll probably take a glace at my opponent’s team during the lead up but I think I’ll mostly just try to build the best team I can and not worry about theirs too much. Let the pieces fall where they may and hopefully I end up near the good end of the table when it’s all done!
Red – Yep, it takes some luck as well but once your team is doing okay in the OR then you should do well in most H2H match ups.
Hey bench, leading 44-41, I’ve got Costa and Luis, and my opponent has Costa and Fab. Thankfully I have the armband on Costa (his is on rooney) so should be alright unless fab goes crazy and Burnley score.
Hey Bench, was looking good in mine until possibly the most expensive goal I’ve ever faced in a H2H went against me – he had both the assist and scorer (a defender of course), and it cancelled out my clean sheet, so a 13 point swing. Need double figures now from Hazard tomorrow to win so looking like I’ll be following LVG’s boys in defeat this GW. A proper fan haha.
Hmmmmmm, just read on twitter that Sherwood will soon be announced as Palace manager. Reckon that means a definite bye bye to Palace defense, but maybe their attacking options becomes more attractive? Puncheon should have dropped at least 0.1 come next GW ^^

Try searching Hidemyass, or alternatives to this, and go through that way. May not work as some watchdogs will block these free web proxys. HideProxy also works well, but there are hundreds out there, just need to find one that isn’t blocked itself!!
