Just noticed my defense completely sucked this week. Only extra points I get are from Pieters that by some miracle got 2BPS even though he didn’t manage to keep a CS.

DDG 1 point, Pieters 4 points, Chambers 1 point, Terry 1 point (might be 2 or more if lucky :P)

That’s the main reason we are all here :big-lol:

‘Can’t believe I chose Hazard over Schurrle’
‘-8 to bring Fab in now’

Sounds like me 2 years back, glad i have some sense now!

        • EBC says:

I’m considering -8 to bring in Fabregas.

Chester, Clyne, Fabregas in for Debuchy, Terry, Henderson.

Quite happy to take hits early on if it increases value and involves player who are likely to score well.

        • Mr Bean says:

          EBC,
Defenders from the 2 best defensive teams in the league, for a player who’s scored 2 goals in 3 years and a Hull defender who has the distraction of Europa League.
Henderson to Fab makes sense but the other 2 transfers cancel it out.

It’s a gamble which while not looking good on paper, could work for you. Good luck!

        • Silverback says:

Has Clyne suddenly become a goal scorer 2 goals in 60 app you already have 3 good players why take the hit now wait until international wk use wc

        • Pippin says:

Wouldn’t do it at this point. The three players you have will perform well in the coming weeks. Didn’t see Hull play, but Clyne won’t score every week and at the beginning of the Liverpool game looked a little rusty to me- his goal was a peach, but an anomaly

        • EBC says:

Clyne was getting forward a lot. Don’t expect him to score a lot but he’ll be a lot of assists and I think Southampton will get a good number of clean sheet. Fixtures are a lot better than Debuchy as well.
–>I was considering this sub before Cesc stuck the knife into my GW.

I rate Henderson but he’ll be on my bench for at least next week. And I have worries about Steven Davis’ gametime now.

Chester for Terry is a fundraiser really but the problem I have with Chelsea is that they will get cleansheets but it’s difficult to predict when. Hull are solid (and have good fixtures) but the worry is the Europa League.

Other ways to get Cesc are:
          Mata to Cesc
          Henderson/Dzeko to Cesc/Long

    Calvin Clyne says:

Hmm, so I was really expecting Hazard and Matic to both be playing double-pivot, but it seems Matic is just permanently staying back and Fab and Oscar are both going forwards and back when necessary. Of course Fab could stay further back against bigger teams, but at them moment it seems I could well be wrong about him. On corners too, balls. May have to have a rethink. Having said that, Haz hasn’t looked bad at all, it just hasn’t fallen for him yet.

I’m watching it via NBC, and their crowd mic is far too close to one group of Burnley fans haha, some entertaining things being shouted.
