Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 1 – Fantasy Premier League 2015/16

Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 36GW1 is live! What better way to kick off the season than with a lunch time match up with 4th place implications written all over it. United will look to secure an early 3 point advantage over perennial Europa League participators, but non-contenders to win, Spurs. At 3pm we have 4 games on the menu. Recently promoted Bournemouth carry the hopes and dreams of many FPL investors as they take on Sherwood and the Benteke-less eleven. In another game that features a recently promoted side, Watford travel to Goodison Park where Everton will be playing for the only 3 points they stand a chance of winning until Christmas. In an early relegation battle we see the Foxes welcome the Black Kitties from Sunderland. If that wasn’t enough of a preview of the probable bottom of the table this season in the 3pm games, we add the also promoted Canaries to the fray, who play host to the Liverpool dream killers, Crystal Palace. In the last game of the day, Chelsea will look to continue taking the manhood away from Swansea as they look to humiliate the Swans with another pasting similar to those of last season.

On Sunday we have three fixtures. Arsenal will look to impress and have all Gooners excited and proclaiming them Champions after week one. Saints (the Liverpool B team) will travel to Newcastle and hope to make their mother club proud, with an away win. Speaking of mother, Liverpool will travel to Stoke where they look to exorcise their demons and by that I mean the memory of Glen Johnson.

The game-week finishes off with the Baggies looking to stop the vaunted City attack with a taller, wider custom made bus. Can’t wait to see the twitterverse explode about Sterling and proclaim the investment on him a complete failure or success based on one half.

Don’t forget to also share any experiences if you are participating in any or several of the fanteam.com leagues. Remember scores update in real time, so don’t be shy and let us know how much you are in line to win.

Can someone please explain to me how Courtois got -1 for conceding 2 goals when he didn’t face the penalty? If Begovic would have saved the penalty he would have got the points for it not Courtois so it should be the same for conceded it

Sitting on 13 points with 6 to play including my entire midfield. Feel like i still have a chance this week as Wally is my captain. I need him to start in front of giroud today. Fingers crossed

What are people considering to do with Courtois? Can’t do Cech as have arsenal DF.

Don’t want to lose value and not goin a GW without a playing GK as Hennessey is my sub

Anyone considering bringing in Romero for Courtois? Or is the consensus to have a non playing keeping?

      Andy says:

Romero is to risky, I’d bring a nailed on starter in instead of him, we’ve no idea yet how this DeGea saga will pan out yet, the last thing you want is to be in the same situation twice in a couple of GW’s

      • Raziel says:

Darmian and Shaw are both very interesting, Darmian topping Shaw.

        • Wafflez says:

yea they are both on my watchlist…

        • Andy says:

Oh man, I was so tempted to take a United defender but the amount of options they’ve got at the back is unnerving, I wouldn’t like to put money on any of them until at least the transfer window closes.

        • AT says:

Andy, I had Darmian and Romero in different drafts near the closing stages, gutted!
I agree, once the uncertainty lifts they will be good options I think.

        • Andy says:

I actually had De Gea in until Friday so I’m glad LVG dropped the bombshell when he did, I just didn’t have the stones to go straight to Romero smile

Has the Arsenal lineup been announced yet I can’t find it anywhere?
