Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 1 – Fantasy Premier League 2015/16
GW1 is live! What better way to kick off the season than with a lunch time match up with 4th place implications written all over it. United will look to secure an early 3 point advantage over perennial Europa League participators, but non-contenders to win, Spurs. At 3pm we have 4 games on the menu. Recently promoted Bournemouth carry the hopes and dreams of many FPL investors as they take on Sherwood and the Benteke-less eleven. In another game that features a recently promoted side, Watford travel to Goodison Park where Everton will be playing for the only 3 points they stand a chance of winning until Christmas. In an early relegation battle we see the Foxes welcome the Black Kitties from Sunderland. If that wasn’t enough of a preview of the probable bottom of the table this season in the 3pm games, we add the also promoted Canaries to the fray, who play host to the Liverpool dream killers, Crystal Palace. In the last game of the day, Chelsea will look to continue taking the manhood away from Swansea as they look to humiliate the Swans with another pasting similar to those of last season.
On Sunday we have three fixtures. Arsenal will look to impress and have all Gooners excited and proclaiming them Champions after week one. Saints (the Liverpool B team) will travel to Newcastle and hope to make their mother club proud, with an away win. Speaking of mother, Liverpool will travel to Stoke where they look to exorcise their demons and by that I mean the memory of Glen Johnson.
The game-week finishes off with the Baggies looking to stop the vaunted City attack with a taller, wider custom made bus. Can’t wait to see the twitterverse explode about Sterling and proclaim the investment on him a complete failure or success based on one half.

Good team raz, the 2 biggest gambles are defeo and schmeichal in my opinion! Very solid all round though i like it.

Yes please remove sterling lol ( yes im a bitter liverpool fan and if he scores 20 goals will not be bringing him in ) Yeh getting augero in will be a must in a few weeks. Young could be a intresting one lets wait and see

Nice team Raz, we’ve got a lot of the same players. I switched from Defoe to Wilson and back a bunch of times, ended up on Defoe too for his experience and decent schedule. Best of luck this season, hope you take care of business in your Dutch league.
Tnx mate, but it’s not about my team. It’s about my nemesis team. Last year he started with a sucking team and he failed the first GW. He immediately used wildcard and pretty much copied all the good players in my team. HAHAHA. In the end, it didn’t work out for him. However, he did gain much ground after Xmas, just 10 points away while I had a 100 point lead before. *sighs*
I won season 1 of my Dutch private league, he won the second season and I won last season (the third). When I’m 1 he’s 2 and the other way around. So he finished 2 times as second, I did 1 time. Loving it. Competition.
It’s good to have a guy like that to battle it out with, makes you play better. I had a guy like that who first got me into FPL, but he hasn’t been too close to me the past couple seasons. Don’t think he puts as much time in on the research end as we do! There’s one other dude in my main ML that I always seem to duke it out with, we push each other to play well.
Yip Red. AT the moment winning versus that dude seems more important than the overall ranking. It was last season and I was ranked 4462 or smt. Unsure if this is true, site updating again. However. it showed he used his triple cap chip. That’s stupid right? Keeping DGW’s in mind?

I guess it depends on whether or not the guy he picks is a hit or a miss, out of the three chips I think I’d be more inclined to use the triple (c) in a single GW over the other two.
Okay, here is the team of my nemesis. He played triple captain chip in first week. Is it just me or is that crazy? YOu can use those chips once a year right? Anyway, here is his team. I like mine more but we have a very different team, can go either way.

Raz – Your team is a good bit stronger than and, yeah, i would say using the chip is a big mistake. Even if it goes well for him then you’ll still have yours for a big DGW. You never know, he might use all three early, happy days.

Hey guys, now that the season is up and running, what are you going to use price change sites? I think FFFix was the best place last season. Can we still access that stuff for free on FFF, or do you have to pay for that now?
For premium shit you have to pay.
Are price changes considered premium shit?
If so, that’s kinda lame. They got us hooked last season and now want $$$! I only ever used the price change feature, I don’t mess around with my team using websites like that. I pick my team, etc. the old fashioned way!
Shrugs, I think some sort of guide and some other things are given. The free versions still lets you see updated games, I think. Points and such.
I believe that it all the features are only available if bought. But might be wrong.
I paid for it. For £15 I thought its a big help.
