Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 1 – Fantasy Premier League 2015/16

Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 36GW1 is live! What better way to kick off the season than with a lunch time match up with 4th place implications written all over it. United will look to secure an early 3 point advantage over perennial Europa League participators, but non-contenders to win, Spurs. At 3pm we have 4 games on the menu. Recently promoted Bournemouth carry the hopes and dreams of many FPL investors as they take on Sherwood and the Benteke-less eleven. In another game that features a recently promoted side, Watford travel to Goodison Park where Everton will be playing for the only 3 points they stand a chance of winning until Christmas. In an early relegation battle we see the Foxes welcome the Black Kitties from Sunderland. If that wasn’t enough of a preview of the probable bottom of the table this season in the 3pm games, we add the also promoted Canaries to the fray, who play host to the Liverpool dream killers, Crystal Palace. In the last game of the day, Chelsea will look to continue taking the manhood away from Swansea as they look to humiliate the Swans with another pasting similar to those of last season.

On Sunday we have three fixtures. Arsenal will look to impress and have all Gooners excited and proclaiming them Champions after week one. Saints (the Liverpool B team) will travel to Newcastle and hope to make their mother club proud, with an away win. Speaking of mother, Liverpool will travel to Stoke where they look to exorcise their demons and by that I mean the memory of Glen Johnson.

The game-week finishes off with the Baggies looking to stop the vaunted City attack with a taller, wider custom made bus. Can’t wait to see the twitterverse explode about Sterling and proclaim the investment on him a complete failure or success based on one half.

Don’t forget to also share any experiences if you are participating in any or several of the fanteam.com leagues. Remember scores update in real time, so don’t be shy and let us know how much you are in line to win.

Unfortunate that Mane couldn’t covert that final attempt, he’s been looking dangerous this 2nd half though. Happy to have him in my team, I think he’s going to have a big season.

    Far too Mané chances wasted

23 points with Benteke, Clyne & Adam to play.

I don’t feel too shaby then, 49 point and Kun to go. Ibe will be my sub if he don’t play.

Btw how do I link my team?, and I can’t seem to find how to change my avatar.

31 with Milner and Sterling, so we’ll likely end up around the same laugh

Not a disaster week, and I doubt anyone has done *brilliantly* with all these unexpected results…

Thoughts on Cedric being taken off at half time? Think it might be anything to do with yellow card, or likely to be subbed frequently I wonder…

Must say, I’m still happy with my team. Considering getting Oxford as my fourth or fifth defender though.

Fearing a massive Wally drop. Only retards would do that. Sighs, sadly FPL has many of those. sad

Lol, one of my league opponents is on 39 points with Pelle, Tadic and Fonte sitting on his bench. That can’t be right. HAHAHA.

      • RedVT says:

Did he play his Bench Boost chip thing?

        • Raziel says:

          Nope. 😉

Funny though, those players would always be in my team. Must’ve been a mistake. He also played Adrian over Pantsuuuuuuu, which worked in the end (Adrian will f-ing end up with 10 points) but before these games I’d never expected WHU to keep a CS. That’s what you get, when you start Giroud. HAHAHA. Wenger.

        • Captain Dicky and His C Men says:

Well let’s just hope wenger gets Benzema. If Walcott doesn’t start next week in I’m swapping him for Ramsey.

Nice little bonus for the FF247 site team and others who took a gamble on Oxford today. Kept a clean sheet and was only 2 points away from bagging himself some bonus points too. Today’s good result should see him stay in the team I would think, nice little 4.0 buy.

      Pippin says:

Yep, might be one who the herds rush to get in and drive his price up a little. He’s playing OoP too, so great points on the clean sheets, if they happen.

      • RedVT says:

I threw him in my team from the off. It was either him or Steven Taylor for a 4.0 guy to balance the books and since the top brass at FF247 had him in the site team, I figured I’d go with him too. About the only lucky break I caught this week, ha!

        • Raziel says:

Sort of suprised S Taylor didn’t start, he was almost in all preview line-ups, sighs. Figured he’d be a 100 percent starter. As for Bellerin, it seems he injured himself. And ummmmm Oxford is awesome, still though, getting him is dangerous, him being only 16? For real? 16?
