Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 10 – Fantasy Premier League 2014/15

Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 10The deadline bell has rung and your decisions are final – starting XI, order of your subs and most importantly your captain has been decided and there ain’t no turning back now…

GW10 begins at 12.45pm on Saturday as Newcastle host Liverpool in the early game.

There are then six 3pm games which feels like a treat for once with the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea, Everton and Southampton all featuring, and they are in full –

Arsenal vs Burnley
Chelsea vs QPR
Everton vs Swansea
Hull vs Southampton
Leicester vs West Brom
Stoke vs West Ham

Sadly this week there is no Saturday evening game but we get back under way on Sunday with a cracker at 1.30pm with the Manchester derby as City host Utd.

Sundays action concludes with Aston Villa hosting Spurs at 4pm.

Monday evening sees Sunderland go to Crystal Palace at 8pm which may be the most uninspiring of climaxes ever but we don’t set the fixtutre calendar, unfortunately. Yet.

Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.

Good luck for GW9 from all at FF247!

  1. What do we think of Walcott? Too early to take him in? The way I see it i need to get rid of sterling and at the moment I can just afford that transfer laugh (it would leave me with 0.0 itb)

    • probably best to wait until after the international break.

    • Way too early. 11 mins of football in 10 months makes him a bad buy just now, for me.

      • Sadly I agree. Was going to get him for this week but now it feels he won’t be starting until GW13+ and almost certainly not next week. That said, he looked great when he came on, and so nearly scored & assisted.

When he’s back, ima trade Sanchez for him, unless Alexis just keeps on going…

      • Nin
What would you say to do till then? Cause if I keep him, by the time he is playing I wouldn’t be able to afford him as sterling will keep going down and Walcott will go up soon I imagine.

  2. Kane bandwagon anyone? 😉

  3. Hows everyone ended up??
I’m 59 with mannone to play, (although i would prefer if he didn’t, krul has 8 sitting on my bench!!)
So fingers crossed, ending up with 67- not the best but should be above average.
Left naylor (6 pts)on the bench, but all my defenders performed and i don’t think i would have ever played 4 at the back!!)

  4. Transfer headache is here again. 2FTs and 0.5M in the bank.

Last week I had to idea where to use a FT, so I did Marney>Obertain. Turns out Marney reaches full fitness and Obertan goes off injured in less than 20 mins. Well, not concerned about 5th midfielder since I never use them.

    • Sterling surely has to go.

    • Team looks ready already. smile Only doubt is Sterling at the moment. Unlucky kid being in such a poor side. Bego fixture also looking hard.

    • B

Stoke have Spurs Liverpool Man Utd and Everton away and Arsenal and Chelsea at home in the next eight games. How about sorting out your goalkeepers?

How about Krul and Foster in giving you some much better options? The rest of your playing squad seems fair enough to do this.

      • +1, but i would play bego for liverpool and burnley…then offload to fabianski.

        • That’s kinda my plan: sticking with Bego for Stoke and Burnley, then switching to Adrian, or Fabianski if I’m feeling risky.

        • james

By that time he will have been away to Spurs as well. I don’t like Stoke not keeping clean sheets against Swansea Sunderland, QPR so I don’t fancy the chances against Spurs Liverpool to be honest.

I’m putting my money where my mouth is on this one and my transfer is Wilson out this week for Collins of West Ham providing there are no European injuries to deal with.

        • Yep, away to Spurs this week, not the greatest of prospects. Can’t get rid this week though. That said, have you seen Spurs lately? If Bentekkers didn’t retaliate then I reckon Villa would’ve held on, so who knows, maybe there is hope for him this week. He kept a cleanie vs City away! …back in the days where I (consistently incorrectly) rotated him with Krul.

        • james

Its the clean sheets they are not keeping that worry me.

      • GP

I have Krul/Heaton in my mind at the moment, but pretty sure i just want one playing keeper.

    • Hey.. B.

Nice team, nice score, nice overall rank…all good.

      Two options I’d concider.
1/ swap sterling for Wally (probly a tad early for him, but at least you’ll be the price rises)
2/ swap sterling for Sanchez, you’ll need more cash obviously so to say, Pelle to Berahino / Sakho or Chadl to some cheapo mid.

Option 1 is the cleanest transfer, without disrupting your team to much.

      • * beat the price rises.

      • I like the Walcott transfer. We should know more about his fitness in upcoming Champions League game I guess.

        • B..

Can you afford anymore Stirling price drops..?

I’m guessing you’ve got arround 8.6m for Stirling with 0.5m ITB, Wally gunna cost yer 9m+
Don’t leave it too long is what I’m say buddy smile

  5. Whom To bring in place of eriksen??
Got 9. 6 Mil in bank after selling him
    Considering Walcott..
other mid: Fab, Maria, Downing, Obertan
    Suggestions Pls

  6. Evening all!!!

Would you keep hold of tadic for another week or would you get rid for wally??

Thinking of shipping out welbeck for sahko if fit and doing tadic to wally

    • I’ve sold Tadic! Very inconsistent… great fixture.

Wally will probs only get 20 mins but that might be enough..?

      • Reckon we will get a good idea on Wednesday if he plays. If I don’t bring him for GW 11 he will be in for GW 12

        How did your GW go?

    • Keeping him for Leicester. Him and Pelle are going out after the International Break. Until then trying not to touch the transfer button.

      • Sounds like a plan!! Saints should hopefully smash leicester with them both among the points!!
