Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 10 – Fantasy Premier League 2014/15

Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 10The deadline bell has rung and your decisions are final – starting XI, order of your subs and most importantly your captain has been decided and there ain’t no turning back now…

GW10 begins at 12.45pm on Saturday as Newcastle host Liverpool in the early game.

There are then six 3pm games which feels like a treat for once with the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea, Everton and Southampton all featuring, and they are in full –

Arsenal vs Burnley
Chelsea vs QPR
Everton vs Swansea
Hull vs Southampton
Leicester vs West Brom
Stoke vs West Ham

Sadly this week there is no Saturday evening game but we get back under way on Sunday with a cracker at 1.30pm with the Manchester derby as City host Utd.

Sundays action concludes with Aston Villa hosting Spurs at 4pm.

Monday evening sees Sunderland go to Crystal Palace at 8pm which may be the most uninspiring of climaxes ever but we don’t set the fixtutre calendar, unfortunately. Yet.

Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.

Good luck for GW9 from all at FF247!

I do not have Costa. I repeat, I do not have Diego Costa. I’m in for a painful day.

I never get how these defender points work. First of all I must say I haven’t watched the game Newcastle versus Pool that is. However, the stats sort of show Liverpool is the more attacking of the two? So Newcastle defenders have to do more defending and more clearing. So if that’s the case how come all the Liverpool defenders are 5-10 BPS ahead of the Newcastle defenders. Makes no sense.

At last something happens– this game has been wretched dull. Well taken goal by Perez though. And Newcastle defence might be a nice option (already have Colo) through the next 3-4 weeks

2/ why o why is Rodgers still starting him.
3/ where the hell is our captain Gerrard latley … Still sulking about last year..?
4/ why is Gerrard not kinking some butt.
5/ who the Fxxk is Markovic?
6/ why is Lallana not starting.
7/ why is Sturridge taking so f-ing long to get fit.
8/ is it me or does Rodgers have this air of… I’m indispensable latley..?
9/ who the Fxxk is Emre Can.?

Not a Liverpool fan, but having just endured watching that game, things seem seriously wrong. It’s easy to blame Balotelli and god knows his negative body language, endless shooting from range, and generally not getting any touches on the ball in the penalty area invite that blame. However, the rest of the team aren’t much better. They were outclassed in the midfield today despite lining up with Gerrard, Allen, Henderson- nominally a tough, ball-winning unit. Defensively, they looked ok in the first half but once Newcastle starting attacking in the second they were instantly jittery. Decent save from Migs to keep it only 1-0, Cabella really should’ve scored (haha, Demba Ba would’ve done…). And up front, there is none of the creative spark from last season. The big difference is obviously the lack of Suarez, but Rodgers has made signings and really needs to prove to everyone that he can fashion a lethal attack without the world’s best striker– many other managers do this week-in, week-out. Sterling and to a lesser extent Coutinho were anonymous today. I’d be tempted to give Lallana a run, but really can’t see a) how to get the attacking midfielders playing smartly together, b) the best combo up front cos Balotelli is currently very isolated and consequently drops deeper and deeper and onto the flanks looking for the ball.
