Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 11 – Fantasy Premier League 2015/16

Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 8GW11 is live! What better way to kick-off our Halloween fixtures than two teams dressed up? Chelsea as a shell of themselves and Liverpool as a has been from the 80’s. That small affair is followed by full out costume party with 12 teams playing at three o’clock. The Silver Fox will be dressed as a ladies’ man and LVG as blind woman’s man, when Palace take on United. The Citizens will be dressed as empty seats and Norwich as a lamb being led to slaughter. In other action we see Newcastle dressed in their submissive attire as they take on Stoke who are of course dressed as Barcelona leftovers. We also see the Swans entertain the Gunners, Watford welcome in the Hammers and the Baggies take on the second coming of Kane, in Jamie Vardy.

Sunday gives us two fixtures. Everton takes on the refurbished Sunderland side, but don’t be fooled because as some people say “You can put lipstick on a pig…but it’s still Sunderland”. That fixture is followed by Southampton taking target practice on Bournemouth. Boruc having missed the Halloween fixtures will have no choice but to dress as himself, a drunk keeper.

On Monday we finish the game-week off with the Sherwood Derby between Spurs and Villa. Sans Sherwood. The exchange of kits at the end could see some great stories exchanged by players about their former gilet loving manager.

Don’t forget to also share any experiences if you are participating in any or several of the FanTeam.com leagues. Remember scores update in real time, so don’t be shy and let us know how much you are in line to win.

  1. What would you do with this team?

    A. Ruddy > DDG. Butland has 3 tough fixtures in coming 4 GWs, and Ruddy tends to get negative points when I put him in charge.

    B. Martial > Lukaku.

    C. Save

    • hi B, i’d prefer B. 😉
it seems LvG doesn’t want his team to score, you would need more a goalscorer than a gk.. Swansea became weak nowdays so you can be fine with Ruddy imo

      • B . Butland gets good save points and I hate wasting transfers on keepers, unless they are injured.

      • Thanks guys. I preferred B myself, because of obvious reasons.

Just have to wait for deadline now because of Champions league, and I would hate every minute of this waiting time because Martial is falling and Luk is rising.

        • actually now i see pretty much chance that the price of both players don’t change till Wednesday evening so you can wait with the transfer hopefully

        • B!

  2. Can someone remind me is it best to TF in on an odd or even price I thk I recall it being an odd price ??????

    • Depends what you bought a player for.

If you buy a player at 5.5m, and now he’s 6m, his selling value is only 5.7m.

If you bought the player at 5.6 mill, and now he’s 6m, his selling value to you is going to be 5.8m.

      • Simms92 I don’t thk it quite works like that Paid 5.5m for Mahrez price now 6.6m my selling price is only 6m work that out anyone else any ideas ?????

        • All seems fine Silvers…
          The math works…

        • Afternoon peeps! How’s everyone doing?

Silvers, you keep half of the profit on a player when you sell him, but if the profit is odd then they round it down.

For you, with Mahrez today, the profit is:

          6.6m – 5.5m = 1.1m

Half of this – what you’d keep if you sold him – is therefore:

          1.1m / 2 = 0.55m

However, the profit has to be a multiple of 0.1m as all prices are in the game, so they round it down to 0.5m:

          5.5m + 0.5m = 6.0m

          Hope this helps!

        • It does work like that. A 0.2m rise = 0.1m sale profit. 5.5m, rising to 6.6m = 1.1m total rise, which is 0.5m profit. It’s bang on.

          Wakey wakey :cuckoo:

        • Cheers all so in theory its better to buy when at even if I had paid 5.4m & now @ 6.6 I would sell @ .6m more. I’m still in shock from the wknd so forgive me. 😉

        • I give up laugh

        • Cookster nailed it !
          #BestAnswerEver

          laugh laugh laugh

    • Eh? :cuckoo:

    • ok I will be quite :whacky:

  3. Time to ship Evans out given he has United, Arsenal, Spurs and Liverpool in the next 5? Thinking straight swap to Moreno even though i have $1.8m in the bank so could go higher but keen to keep an Aguero fund is possible. Any thoughts?

    Begovic – Schwarzer
Souare – Kolorov – Bennett – Van Dijk – Evans
Sanchez – Mane – Sako – Mahrez – De Bruyne
    Kane – Vardy – Lukaku

    • I’d give it a shout! Sounds good.
      And also monitor Sako

      • Cheers mate, been meaning to get rid of Sako for a while but had to punt Walcott and Zabaleta first.

    • I’d get rid of Bennett first.

  4. What to do with this? 2FT 1.6 ITB
    Myhill
    Sagna Bellerin Cedric
    Sanchez KDB Mahrez Payet
    Lukaku Pelle Vardy

    (Gomes, Hoolahan, Soare* N.Taylor)

    • Swansea looking awful. I’d think about Taylor/Myhill -> United coverage. They’re not scoring goals, but they are keeping plenty of clean sheets these days!

  5. Bit of a knee-jerk transfer last night and did Berahino out for Lukaku, hope there’s no injuries this week!

    • After the last international break you’d think people learned their lesson. On that note, do Everton play European football?

      • I don’t think so!

Just hope Kolarov, KDB, Bony or Sanchez don’t pull up midweek!

    • Made an early swoop myself. Costa –> Vardy. Had to be done.

  6. 1. There’s no international break until next week again.
    2. Lukaku plays for Belgium, which already qualified for Europe League
