Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 11 – Fantasy Premier League 2014/15
The deadline bell has rung and your decisions are final – starting XI, order of your subs and most importantly your captain has been decided and there ain’t no turning back now…
GW11 begins with a stonker at 12.45pm on Saturday as Liverpool host Chelsea in the early game. Can Toure give Costa the Ronaldo treatment or will Moreno gift Hazard a goal or two? Will Brendan recall the old guard or stick to his Madrid guns?
There are then four 3pm games, and with Man Utd and Southampton both featuring they will probably be the main draw fantasy wise –
Burnley vs Hull
Man Utd vs Crystal Palace
Southampton vs Leicester
West Ham vs Aston Villa
Saturday evening sees Man City go to QPR at 5.30pm.
There’s a bumper Sunday this week with four games and this concludes our game-week as there is no Monday night game this week. In full Sunday’s action is –
Spurs vs Stoke 1pm
Sunderland vs Everton 1pm
West Brom vs Newcastle 1pm
Swansea vs Arsenal 4pm
Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.
Good luck for G11 from all at FF247!
Calvin Clyne
Pelle playing deeper now..
Raziel
Not really doubting Di Maria but I think he could use some rest right about now.
jamesimmo
2/2 cleansheets and a blank from Tadic. Sound.
jamesimmo
…but also a blank from Downing, but it appears he had a chance or two, so I’m not too fussed. Did De Laet get injured? Wondering if Moore will be back in the starting XI now or not.
NIN
jamesimmo – From the updates i was reading, Downing played really well and created a bunch of chances. Unfortunately, WHU’s forwards missed every one of them! Oh well. Shit happens
Calvin Clyne
Southampton really are quality. Play really well, never look shaky at the back, even when the other team is on the counter, and right at the end at 2-0 up they are not trying to kill the game but are still attacking and could have scored at the death. Fine example to other teams.

And yet still people in their droves will drop their players after the next gameweek just because its City, Arsenal and United over three weeks.
Calvin Clyne
Indeed mate. I will too if there are good options to replace them with, but not just out of principle.

For their price, I would argue there aren’t better in the league and that’s across all positions.
Two of the matches are at home as well and they already have beaten Arsenal in London in this cup this year.
Calvin Clyne
Totally agree, think I’ll keep Clyne and Pelle probably, but Tadic to Walcott is very tempting. Though it may well be ADM who makes way instead if he keeps this up.
NIN
That was a much better 2nd half from United. 3 points in the bag. I’ll take it!
jamesimmo
Amazed you kept the cleansheet! Congrats. How did Di Maria look?
NIN
Haha, as am i! We were lucky in that respect as Campbell missed a sitter in the first half. My granny would have scored it!
I thought it was a so-so performance from Di Maria. He had nothing left in the tank come the 70th minute so he had to come off. Visibly shattered.
jamesimmo
Haha, but he didn’t, tis the main thing
That ain’t good! Hope he comes back from the break fully fit, as I intend for him to stay in my team, he’s just got too much class.
NIN
He’ll be fine. Argentina are generally good with players whilst on international duty. If someone is feeling the burn, he comes off or doesn’t play at all. Angel will be fine
Raziel
I’ve not really watched the game apart from the last 20 minutes or so. But stats say Crystal had 1 shot on target, United 6. Ball possession 72 percent by United. Again, stats don’t always show the match. Think Crystal had 1 really big chance (a sitter) in the first half. But apart from that chance, anything?
NIN
First half United were really bad and Palace were pretty comfortable, and yes, should have been one nil up. Second half we controlled it a lot better but it still wasn’t up to standard. Young McNair looks a decent player.
Calvin Clyne
Nice one NIN, 3 points the main thing.
NIN
Big time mate. Hopefully we can beat Arsenal and then go on a run of some sort.
van Persie was utter pish again though. He’s been muck (aside from the first one or two WC games) since Ferguson retired. He had a great chance in the 2nd half and put it out for a throw in :noshake:
Calvin Clyne
And I had a feeling I would regret shipping DDG.. I was going to after the next four games instead, but when I saw this this morning I just panicked.
Raziel
Imho it’s been amazing how few goals they have been conceding. Considering in this match alone they swapped the back four 3 times, lol. Must be hell. Anyway, todays game their defence was decent and it was their attacking that wasn’t all that good. Wish Di Maria wouldn’t play for Arg, hoping LvG subbed him and will tell the world there is something blablabla so he returns fit for the next game.
