Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 11 – Fantasy Premier League 2014/15

Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 10The deadline bell has rung and your decisions are final – starting XI, order of your subs and most importantly your captain has been decided and there ain’t no turning back now…

GW11 begins with a stonker at 12.45pm on Saturday as Liverpool host Chelsea in the early game. Can Toure give Costa the Ronaldo treatment or will Moreno gift Hazard a goal or two? Will Brendan recall the old guard or stick to his Madrid guns?

There are then four 3pm games, and with Man Utd and Southampton both featuring they will probably be the main draw fantasy wise –

Burnley vs Hull
Man Utd vs Crystal Palace
Southampton vs Leicester
West Ham vs Aston Villa

Saturday evening sees Man City go to QPR at 5.30pm.

There’s a bumper Sunday this week with four games and this concludes our game-week as there is no Monday night  game this week. In full Sunday’s action is –

Spurs vs Stoke 1pm
Sunderland vs Everton 1pm
West Brom vs Newcastle 1pm
Swansea vs Arsenal 4pm

Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.

Good luck for G11 from all at FF247!

Current thoughts on my WC team…2 weeks without PL is bound to change it a lot but i wanted something to work with over that time.

Probably going to go with 4-3-3 from now because I can’t find over 3 midfielders that i want in my team (even ADM is hit and miss). Defence will require some research on fixtures and rotation but those are the teams i’m looking at.

    Thoughts?

Mr Bean – you skint at that or have anything left in the bank?

        • TheDreamers says:

Mr Bean – you are kicking my arse but my opinion is here for what its worth.

Keepers – Adrain isnt that cheap and has only 2 CS all season. Guzan, Foster, even DeGea seem decent alternatives to me.

I like the defence with the exception of Trippier. Just think Burnley are out of their depth, despite todays result. Wisdom might be an option.

3 big mids – cant be argued with. I’d upgrade one of them with the extra bank and the 0.5 generated if Wisdom over Trippier.

          Hope this helps.

          3 Forwards – top notch

I won’t be for very long if I can’t sort the team out with this WC.

Defence situation is definitely noted, haven’t done enough research to finalise any of those choices other than Baines. WBA defence could replace any of those options to be honest, will definitely think about it. I do like West Ham as a defensive option now though, fixtures look good.

Burnley for their next 5 fixtures, thought Trippier assists may be worth the 0.6 over Duff for the short term option.

Bean old boy, think you may need another big hitter in defence if you are going 4 at the back, possibly get Fab for Haz.

      • Mr Bean says:

I sold Fab, Hazard has been head and shoulders above him and 10 times more involved recently, will outscore him by 50 points by the end of the season I believe.

2 ‘big hitters’ were considered in defence but I couldn’t find any strong teams that I wanted a defender from: City, Chelsea, Spurs have all been dodgy at the back and I dont want money invested back there on inconsistency. Jagielka is an option but double Everton could go either way.

        • TheDreamers says:

Mr Bean – an interesting option, and think it is by NIN is a Baines/Coleman combo.

I also expect Chelsea to tighten up. Here is an interesting one for you – Shaw. 3 bonus today, Rojo looking now a cb, and Blind a very obvious mid.

        • Mr Bean says:

United look so awful I can’t bring myself to own more than 1 of their players. Coleman and Baines would be perfect but very expensive and unfortunately I can’t afford them sad

Stopped trying to gain transfer value a couple of weeks ago or it might be an option

I”d have Krul or Foster over Adrian, gives you another.5m to play with.Don’t think Hazard is worth the outlay.I’d have chambers over Trippier.I know Burnley kept a cs and he got an assist today but i think he’s a tad expensive.Defence deffo not strong enough to play 4-3-3.Just my 10 cents 😉

      • Mr Bean says:

Will definitely consider a replacement for Adrian, maybe put Collins in at 4.5 mil for West Hams fixtures. Chambers will be every top 10k team soon enough but I don’t feel Arsenals fixtures are good enough and thought something different to him may be useful.

4-3-3 isn’t ideal but I don’t like any of the budget midfield options at the moment, thought it was more worth a 5 mil defender than a 6 mil midfielder who scores 5 a season

Will take it all on board as most seem to be saying the same thing about the team, thanks!

Well, I doubt I’ll be the only one grumbling but captaining Pelle instead of Aguero was a bit of a bummer this week… I suspect I’ll be seeing red arrows– perversely, when you’re high up in the main leagues, there’s less margin for error. 47 post-BP with four to play- not a bad week but I think I’ll be about on par and consequently drop a few hundred. Some good scores out there though- well done folks!

    Raziel says:

    My team;
    Forster – Gilks
    Baines – Chambers – Moore – Dummett – Hutton
Fabregas – Di Maria – Siggy – Tadic – Albrighgton
    Kun – Costa – Pelle

    Pelle to Sakho
    Fabregas to Hazard
    Tadic to Walcott
This all for a 4 point hit. Depends on how serious Fab injury will be by the way.

Raz – albeit we have similar teams, thought they were closer.

Still reckon Ill take you before the end of season smile smile

I have considered the Pelle move to Sakho. I’m not considering Austin as alternative. I am also thinking that until Pelle doesnt do the business, he doesnt deserve to go. I havent seen todays game yet though.

Is Fab really injured? I think Hazard is playing well. But he almost seems Silva v2 at times, not getting the points deserved.

Too soon for Walcottt until he gets game time (more than 11 mins)

    Mr Bean says:

Austin 1 bonus because Isla currently has his 2nd goal assist? They don’t seem to care too much about fixing that?

Hi guys. Hows everyone going this week so far? I am on 59 with Baines, Wisdom, Chadli and Sigurdsson still to play. Wisdom and Baines should get Clean sheets. Hoping to rise in the rankings. How many to you think Sanchez will get against swansea?
