Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 11 – Fantasy Premier League 2014/15

Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 10The deadline bell has rung and your decisions are final – starting XI, order of your subs and most importantly your captain has been decided and there ain’t no turning back now…

GW11 begins with a stonker at 12.45pm on Saturday as Liverpool host Chelsea in the early game. Can Toure give Costa the Ronaldo treatment or will Moreno gift Hazard a goal or two? Will Brendan recall the old guard or stick to his Madrid guns?

There are then four 3pm games, and with Man Utd and Southampton both featuring they will probably be the main draw fantasy wise –

Burnley vs Hull
Man Utd vs Crystal Palace
Southampton vs Leicester
West Ham vs Aston Villa

Saturday evening sees Man City go to QPR at 5.30pm.

There’s a bumper Sunday this week with four games and this concludes our game-week as there is no Monday night  game this week. In full Sunday’s action is –

Spurs vs Stoke 1pm
Sunderland vs Everton 1pm
West Brom vs Newcastle 1pm
Swansea vs Arsenal 4pm

Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.

Good luck for G11 from all at FF247!

Why didn’t Azpilicueta get assist points?! And no bonus points?! I’m so upset.

Currently on a 6 game loss streak in my Banterbury qualification league, had another really good day yesterday, but now it looks like it could be close.

I have Naismith, Walcott, Taylor(SWA), and Krul to play.
He has Lukaku, Kane, Sigurdsson, Baines, and Taylor (SWA) to play.

Hello, good people! Impressions from GW 11 so far? i was a bit down for missing Costa for my team and a bit pissed for Sterling’s yellow, but quite relieved for keeping Aguero….though I was stupid enough to un- Captain him for Sanchez’s sake….but who knows, this guy may do even better.
Any thoughts on Naismith? It’s been some time since GW 2 and 7, but I think he’ll come around….

Hi mikeT, I think a lot of people took Costa out because of the potential surgery coming up during the international break so you’re not alone! I captained Aguero so happy about that, but then if Sanchez does another 15 pointer then I’ll be pissed off I didn’t captain him instead!

Personally, I wouldn’t stick with Naismith – his record in the Premiership is nothing spectacular – at £5.0m his price tag is the only thing going for him in my opinion! Around that price point, if I were you I would take look at Kane (£4.8m), Long (£5.5m), Austin (£5.7m), Sakho (£5.9m) or Berahino (£6.1m), depending on how much spare cash you’ve got.

Thanks for the recommendations, Ben! They’re quite interesting – especially Long (with those surprising goals!) and Charlie Austin (who’s done quite well since GW3). Watching Sakho through the GWs, I gave him the “goalman” nick.
I had them all in my list and I’m just experimenting a bit now….As far as price tags are concerned, I’m not really worried about it , since the place I’m playing in is a bit different, no budget and stuff. Just trying to make the best team and rank as high as I can.
Despite that though, I don’t want to just pick the all the “hot expensive names” and squeeze them in a team…I wanna think and enjoy my game , you know?
        Thanks again, mate!

I’d probably hold onto Naismith if I had him, though I wouldn’t sign him. Long was an effective impact-sub for Soton, but I’m not sure his goals (fresh legs against a tired defence) will guarantee him a starting place. If Kane does well today he could become a regular starter, but otherwise I’d suggest one of the others. I’ve got Berahino, but I agree Sakho and Austin are also good options.

i agree, Kane has a brilliant record so far. This is the last week I decided I’d keep Naismith and I’ve been thinking all the others as great options for next GW. I’m thinking of a 3-4-3, keeping either Sanchez or Aguero as Captain. Now, with keeping mostly Sakho, Long and Kane in mind, I’m thinking about the possible combinations, especially with the mids.
          Thanks!

Humdrum so far – beating the average, but red arrows across the board. Annoyed that ADM was subbed early, but then relieved to see he’d managed an assist. Glad I captained him rather than Tadic who was the other contender. Disappointed that QPR let Aguero scored twice.

What’s making this weekend better is that regardless of the outcome of the Tottenham vs Stoke game, Liverpool will drop down the table.

If Everton draw or win against Sunderland, Liverpool will drop again.

If West Brom vs Newcastle ends in a draw, Liverpool will drop, if either win, Liverpool will still drop.

Welcome to the bottom half of the table. This will be prime pub talk today between my mates, supporting Arsenal and living in Merseyside is great.

Is it safe to assume that Costa won’t need surgery in the coming days?

Safe to say I’m happy I gave Aguero the armband at 11:20 yesterday 😉 Hoping for a baines, chadli and chambers performance today. How was your Gameweek gone?
