Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 12 – Fantasy Premier League 2014/15

Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 10The deadline bell has rung and your decisions are final – starting XI, order of your subs and most importantly your captain has been decided and there ain’t no turning back now…

The international break has been unkind to most fantasy managers and many will have logged on to see a succession of dreaded yellow and red injury flags. For those lucky ones still with a wildcard intact it may have been a great week to use it. For those with a couple of free transfers left then that prudence from last week may have added a crumb of comfort. For those that made early transfers… oh dear! So for those that actually have any players left… GW12 begins on Saturday at 3pm with no less than six games in the afternoon followed by possibly the game of the weekend at 5.30pm…

Chelsea v West Brom 3pm
Everton v West Ham 3pm
Leicester v Sunderland 3pm
Man City v Swansea 3pm
Newcastle v QPR 3pm
Stoke v Burnley 3pm
Arsenal v Man Utd 5.30pm

Sunday sees just the two games…

Crystal Palace v Liverpool 1.30pm
Hull v Spurs 4pm

And GW12 concludes on Monday evening…

Aston Villa v Southampton

Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.

Good luck to absolutely everyone for GW12 from all at FF247!

    Evening,

Sorry if you read my captaincy article and went Aguero as captain.

I did too. The consolation is noone has absolutely ripped the captaincy up so far really have they?

Right. Need a bit of guidance:

My plan for this GW13 is to sell Begovic for Guzan, or perhaps Krul, we’ll see.

That would allow me to carry 2 FTs over to GW14 where I will do Clyne —–> Baines and one other downgrade (of around 1.0m) to fund this.

    It’ll either be:

Di Maria —–> Sterling … (but Di Maria may kick on again now)
    OR
Downing —–> Boyd … (who would rotate with… *sighs* Zamora)

My question is: should I do the Downing downgrade (no pun existent) soon to avoid any drops in price? I ask as he may be injured and I only have 0.3-0.4m to spare at the moment.

Krul rather than Guzan for me.

I’d rather have ADM in my team than Sterling. Having Boyd and Zamora together was something I was considering last night but couldn’t go through with it.

Baines is class but have you considered Chelsea coverage instead? Meaning you could possibly keep ADM and upgrade Downing (or Zamora depending on how Downing’s injury is) . . .

Are you going to bring Baines back in

      • jamesimmo says:

Hey TGP, all fairly sound that, thanks.

Newcastle > Villa yes, for sure, but Villa’s fixtures are nicer. If Vlaar is back fit then I’ll be inclined towards Guzan, if not, then I’ll probably plump with Krul as you recommend.

Man United should kick on now and I think Di Maria could set alight once more. Hence, I’m very keen to keep him, and he also gives me the flexibility to (maybe) switch to Hazard at some point.

Chelsea’s fixtures are fantastic and a defender of theirs could be very worthwhile, however, they keep conceding and only Ivanovic (similar price to Baines) seems to have an actual promise of attacking returns.

Baines is an animal. Not sure I can live without him any longer. If I don’t own him on that Monday night game where Everton play QPR at home then I might go into cardiac arrest! laugh point is, in my eyes, his consistency means I just *must* have him.

Really not sure when to deal with Downing…

I’m strongly considering the Boyd/Zamora rotation. Zamora next 3 home games are as easy as it gets. I need to get rid of Welbeck and probably should have Baines again

Smash – both players are dirt cheap and you get what you pay for – but they’ve each cropped up with a goal / assist on occasions, now play regaurly and have nice games ahead.

It’s an eye sore to have to play one each week, but it’d also open up a lot of doors, which overall could be very favourable.

        • Smash10 says:

Thanks. Yeah would allow rest of team to look really decent. But it’s hard having to play one of them

    Hello!

My early transfer for this week (any price movements will make it undoable):

    – Sterling to Sanchez
    – Clynne to Yun

Does that sound like a good plan? Thanks!

Can’t believe it, my score is actually 3 pts under the average. How the fuck can the average be that “high” in such a shit week?

Downing and yun or Bertrand and wanyama?
