Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 12 – Fantasy Premier League 2014/15

Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 10The deadline bell has rung and your decisions are final – starting XI, order of your subs and most importantly your captain has been decided and there ain’t no turning back now…

The international break has been unkind to most fantasy managers and many will have logged on to see a succession of dreaded yellow and red injury flags. For those lucky ones still with a wildcard intact it may have been a great week to use it. For those with a couple of free transfers left then that prudence from last week may have added a crumb of comfort. For those that made early transfers… oh dear! So for those that actually have any players left… GW12 begins on Saturday at 3pm with no less than six games in the afternoon followed by possibly the game of the weekend at 5.30pm…

Chelsea v West Brom 3pm
Everton v West Ham 3pm
Leicester v Sunderland 3pm
Man City v Swansea 3pm
Newcastle v QPR 3pm
Stoke v Burnley 3pm
Arsenal v Man Utd 5.30pm

Sunday sees just the two games…

Crystal Palace v Liverpool 1.30pm
Hull v Spurs 4pm

And GW12 concludes on Monday evening…

Aston Villa v Southampton

Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.

Good luck to absolutely everyone for GW12 from all at FF247!

Blimey I’m ranked 1.9millionth for this week but only dropped 1500 places to 7700 ish

    Pretty happy with that tbh

Anybody could enlighten me as to why this morning Sanchez, Kun and 5 others were to rise and now they are nowhere near? Did I miss a day, are we already tomorrow and they rose without me even knowing?

Shrugs, don’t know. Same for Austin,, he was set to rise. Now only Forster seems to be rising. Also in my team like 3 or 4 players were set to rise. Watch out though, yesterday Hazard was close to rising and he would go than he wouldn’t and in the end he did. Don’t trust this shit. Have to go against my principles and make the transfer tonight after MOTD.

Quite frustrating haha. And oiiii I replied to your post and came with (according to myself because I have just agreed with myself) a good alternative to Austin for you! 😉

KungFu, the price change forecasters haven’t figured out how to handle Saturdays yet. On Saturday morning there’s a lot of transfer activity at the end of the GW. It seems the forecasts assume this will continue the rest of the day. Of course it doesn’t, because it’s a new GW so almost nobody makes transfers in the afternoon. So instead of loads of people desperately buying Sanchez this morning ahead of his nice easy match against a makeshift Man U defence, only a few buy him in the new GW so his price (probably) doesn’t rise after all. Likewise loads of people were selling ADM to trade up to Sanchez, but now they’re not so his price won’t fall.

      • KungFuKingCantona says:

gkw I get that. But regardless, if people bought Sanchez in this morning (probs quite a few did) his rise would have been close to 100 or over and regardless of the new GW it would have changed tonight like in the good old days. But now it seems that when there is a new GW all this is out the window! Example: Aguero only needed 5000 transfers before his price change in the morning but now needs 14116 (according to fpl statistics). It’s just odd and I can’t wrap my brain around it! haha!

        • gkw says:

I don’t even look at fpl (I guess you mean TotalFPL) anymore as they don’t seem to have a clue about targets. FFFix seem to have the targets about right, but don’t factor in the changes in activity on Saturdays.

      • hammers says:

Are they pretty accurate now though gkw?

I would hate for the players I want to rise tonight when the site is saying they wont

        • gkw says:

FFFix claim to be about 90% accurate now, which sounds about right. I think they failed to foresee the rise in Janmaat’s price a week or so ago, which was annoying for me, but still they are way better this season than TotalFPL and FISO.

    Current team is below.

I have 2ft and 0.8itb. Planning to swap pelle & Chadli for Austin & Sanchez but need another 1.2 to do it. Happy to take the -4 but What do you think is the best way of getting it?

    1) courtios to krul
    2) downing to wanyama
    3) Bertrand to yun

    Thoughts anyone?

I could be crazy but I’m not going through with the Sanchez and Austin transfer just yet. Having seen how poor City are in the back. Gives me a bit more breathing room like Cantona said. Just saw the second half of the Arsenal game but I really didn’t see all that much from Sanchez. He played on the left side and when Giroud came on he played even deeper. So holding on to my 2ft’s.Dangerous shite.

Raz I saw bits of of it, in and out, but the one thing that stood out was that Sanchez is quality. He reminded me of Aguero – looked like something was going to happen whenever he got on the ball. I don’t think it matters where he plays given that all the Arsenal players end up in a bit group bunched on the oppositions penalty box for every attack anyway…

      • Raziel says:

Meaning it’s full there right? >.<

Few games back he played up front with Welly that's the main reason why he got so many goals right? I see his class but now he's being used as a winger, that's totally different. I could be wrong. My eyes really haven't been on Arsenal this season (not much).

        • Raziel says:

I don’t know anymore, I can do the transfer now but I don’t know what’s going to happen midweek. If Baines gets fit again and so on. Maybe midweek games injure some other of my important players. Think it’s better to wait as long as possible. Since FFF doesn’t see Austin/Sanchez rising tonight, I’ll hold off for now.

        • inittowinit says:

Wise to hold I think. CL this after all so anything can happen.
