The international break has been unkind to most fantasy managers and many will have logged on to see a succession of dreaded yellow and red injury flags. For those lucky ones still with a wildcard intact it may have been a great week to use it. For those with a couple of free transfers left then that prudence from last week may have added a crumb of comfort. For those that made early transfers… oh dear! So for those that actually have any players left… GW12 begins on Saturday at 3pm with no less than six games in the afternoon followed by possibly the game of the weekend at 5.30pm…
Chelsea v West Brom 3pm
Everton v West Ham 3pm
Leicester v Sunderland 3pm
Man City v Swansea 3pm
Newcastle v QPR 3pm
Stoke v Burnley 3pm
Arsenal v Man Utd 5.30pm
Sunday sees just the two games…
Crystal Palace v Liverpool 1.30pm
Hull v Spurs 4pm
And GW12 concludes on Monday evening…

In order to get Sanchez in I need to raise 1.2 my options are –
1) Courtios to krul
2) Downing to wanyama
3) Bertrand to yun
I was set on doing 3 but the downing injury worries me. If I choose to go for 2 swap him for wanyama I need to do it tonight due to funds

I wouldn’t go for wanyama if it is option 2.. Southampton have tough fixtures coming up.. Go for Sammy Ameobi, may be a bit of a punt, but he’s started the last 3 gws..

Yes, that’s correct – this was the first time he played 90 min, but he started against Pool and WBA (and played 60+ min both matches)
Wanyama scored 10 goals in 2 seasons at Celtic. So he’s not bad for a defensive midfielder, if that’s all you can afford.
I’d go for 2). Soton’s tough fixtures are only tough on defenders. None of the teams they’re up against are sound in defence, so there’s a fair chance of Wanyama picking up points.
If you are starting each week probably 1. 3 could work if u rotate defenders. Wanyama not good enough to start. He has got some lucky points and is a defensive midfielder

Sometimes I really don’t get this ff stuff, for example I refrained from taking multiple hits this week thinking I was being smart….BOOM, Backfired with my targets scoring big (Costa, Azpil, Walters, dummett, …shite..should of took the hit…oh well !

Quick question: does anyone have any idea if Pantilimon has actually taken over as Number 1 at Sunderland? Or just filling in til Mannone regains a bit of confidence / form?
I ask because downgrading to a 4.4 keeper will allow me to upgrade Welbeck to Costa – but that’d leave me no spare cash, so I can’t afford any of the keepers at 4.5
And also, what time do price changes take place? Is it midnight, British time?
It’s usually around 2. He has done nothing wrong since coming in so I expect him to stay in for the time being.

Yeah I’m thinking along the same lines. I was just thinking that if he wasn’t going to keep playing, I might as well save 0.4 mil to use elsewhere by getting a 4.0 mil keeper. Pantilimon looks like the only keeper in the Prem priced at 4.4 or less whose actually 1st choice at his club
Actually changed my mind! Was going to have Forster (who I already have) and Pantilimon.
But decided to transfer in Elliot from Newcastle instead and then get Krul in for Forster in a week or 2, reason being that if Krul doesn’t play, Elliot will. Saves me a total of 1.1 mill to use elsewhere on the pitch compared to Forster / Pantilimon
Shite, I just did the Pelle to Austin transfer. Just hope it works out.

Yeah, he should be ok till January. Was also looking at Bony but if I get Bony I can’t afford Sanchez to replace Tadic. Tadic and Bony or Austin and Sanchez. Leaning towards the second combo. 😉
