The international break has been unkind to most fantasy managers and many will have logged on to see a succession of dreaded yellow and red injury flags. For those lucky ones still with a wildcard intact it may have been a great week to use it. For those with a couple of free transfers left then that prudence from last week may have added a crumb of comfort. For those that made early transfers… oh dear! So for those that actually have any players left… GW12 begins on Saturday at 3pm with no less than six games in the afternoon followed by possibly the game of the weekend at 5.30pm…
Chelsea v West Brom 3pm
Everton v West Ham 3pm
Leicester v Sunderland 3pm
Man City v Swansea 3pm
Newcastle v QPR 3pm
Stoke v Burnley 3pm
Arsenal v Man Utd 5.30pm
Sunday sees just the two games…

And GW12 concludes on Monday evening…

Anyone offer some advice? I’m in a head to head league and the team I am playing against this week is greyed out. For some reason I am unable to click on their team and view like I can everyone else in the league. Does this mean they have deactivated the team? Why is it still there? I want to know as I am 6 points behind him this week, although I have Clyne and Pelle(c) to play but can’t see who they have!
Igy, I saw this at lunchtime but had no ideas at the time. What I wonder is whether the team has been thrown out of FPL, which occasionally happens. Can’t think of any other reason. If that happens you may instead be matched against the overall Average.
Thanks gkw! That actually seems like the correct answer! The team name is actually Average so it makes sense! They are currently on 35 points which is this weeks average and they had 51 points last gw which was the average! Thanks for clearing that up!

Igy, you are playing the average score mate. If there is an odd number of teams in your league, FPL make it an even number by adding the average score as a team.

I’m giving some consideration to 4 pt hit for Rooney and Siggy to replace Pele and Tadic.

Sanchez/Fab/Tadic/Downing/Boyd
Aguero/Costa/Pelle 1.3m in the bank
Thoughts anyone?
Replace Soton defenders, not midfield/forwards
Rooney could be a great shout, I quite like those moves. You can bench Alderwiereld if needs be for tougher fixtures. Pelle could still do well even against the bigger teams, but I’m also considering shipping him out
I think its worth it Tomo with Man u and Swansea both having 2 home games in a row.

could you RMT please?
I see different options:
i) Di Maria, Tadic -> Sanchez, Chadli or Downing (depending who is most likely to be fit)
ii) Di Maria, Cahill -> Sanchez, 5.5M defender (Cresswell?)
iii) Tadic, Roebrtson–>Chadli or Downing, Cresswell
iv) Tadic, Davies ->Chadli and downing
v) Tadic, Sakho->Chadli/Downing, Austin.
What do you think? I am open to other alternatives!

My thoughts are you should give ADM these next two fixtures, home to Hull and Stoke. Downing is rumoured to be out for a few weeks, while we are waiting for more news on Chadli after his missed y’days game with a knee injury.
If Chadli is fit then Sakho & Tadic to Austin and Chadli could work well.
I wouldn’t be looking to sell Cahill.

I actually have nothing against ADM.He just happens to be the only high value player that I could sell (the others begin Hazard, Costa and Aguero!) to afford Sanchez!
Same holds for Cahill actually!
But I like your conclusion: given his fixtures, Tadic will be out; and given his injury, Sakho will be as well.

Vinci, both ADM and Sanchez are top-class FPL material. I’ve got both of them instead of Costa and Aguero, because (1) they’re not so injury-prone, (2) you can get better strikers for 6m or 8m than you can midfielders at that price. That’s why I’m doing so fantastically well. Ahem, scratch that last bit 😉 more like that’s why I’m doing ok despite p!ssing away so much on under-performing defenders (hey, then maybe I should apply to manage one of those manager jobs which should be coming up soon at a Big 4 club?)
