Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 13 – Fantasy Premier League 2015/16
GW13 is live! We kick it off with a snoozer. Watford, who have only scored 3 goals at home this season play a Man United side that has combined with their opponents to score a grand total of 2 goals over their last three games. That non-tasty appetizer is followed by six, 3pm games. Norwich will look to grab a second win on the run when they take on their own reflection or as others call it Chelsea. Everton take on last place Villa in what could be a fantastic occasion for Lu-Ka-Ku to grab the spotlight and disappoint with many captaining him. Leicester tackle Newcastle in what looks to be a goal infested fixture seeing that neither can defend. Stoke pays a visit to St. Mary’s in what could be Pelle’s last chance to prove his worth. In other action or lack thereof we see Swansea trot out Gomis and pass him off for an actual professional when they take on the Cherries. Arsenal looks to continue their assault on being declared champions in December and crying by May when they face off versus the Baggies. We close the day in what promises to be an interesting fixture when the Citizens tangle with the Scousers. In particular as the return of Kun Aguero seems imminent.
Sunday gives us one fixture, Spurs continues to pretend to be a contender when they take on the Payet-less Hammers. Will Lanzini rise as many are starting to hope? Will Kane continue his lucky, I mean great run of form? Don’t be disappointed by hearing or reading about it, tune in and be disappointed first hand.
Monday brings a close to the game-week with a fixture that can only be seen as a cruel joke to FPL fans. Do we really have to wait on Palace vs Sunderland to finish out the GW? Init, just publish fixtures before this game starts, Please!

So Pelle has given me a pretty good reason to get rid of him for Lukaku with that ban of his, but I gotta make another move to free up funds. The initial idea is to get in Ozil for KDB or Sanchez, but alternately I could get in Simpson for Martin. I initially prefer KDB to Ozil. Thoughts?

Yeah I’m here GP, no idea mate! As I kept telling him I hadn’t seen the goals but the text commentary suggested none, maybe the first at a push but even that didn’t seem plausible.
Hey guys, tough week over here. Got a couple bad breaks with the FPL Gods ruling that my captain Deulofeu actually “passed” the ball that Guzan had to save to keep from going in his goal, which Lukaku then tapped in. So no assist given to Deulofeu. Haha, you can’t make this stuff up.
Anyway, on to next week. With KDB and Kolarov already in my side, I’m actually thinking of getting Lukaku for his run of good matches instead of Aguero, who I can afford. Is that crazy talk?? Also, does anyone know for sure if Aguero is price protected or not?
Simpson got his assist when his shot was saved and Okazaki put it in the net. Difference ?
I guess Opta must have read Simpson’s mind and determined that he meant to shoot the ball that the keeper saved from going in his net and Okazaki then scored. Unfortunately they determined that the ball that Guzan saved which was going in his net and Lukaku then scored was actually a PASS from Deulofeu and not a shot, lol.
This is what it says on their ‘help’ page at the top. They must have received a fair few e-mails about it:
No assist was given to Deulofeu for Everton’s first goal as Opta determined he was trying to pass to Kone rather than shoot. Assists are not given for significantly deflected passes.
Tossers. How can they deem 1 a pass and 1 a shot. They have both got to be shots or passes.
Is Sanchez >> Ozil and Cost >> Aguero worth a 4 point hit.
Not yet, wait till after the CL and EL games.
First time this season my transfers actually paid off. Got Lukaku and Ozil in for Payet and Pelle. Any thoughts on these option for next week:
1. Mane > Firmino
2. Martial & Mane > Kane & Delofeou
3. Martial & Sanchez/KDB > Aguero & Delofeou
