Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 13 – Fantasy Premier League 2015/16
GW13 is live! We kick it off with a snoozer. Watford, who have only scored 3 goals at home this season play a Man United side that has combined with their opponents to score a grand total of 2 goals over their last three games. That non-tasty appetizer is followed by six, 3pm games. Norwich will look to grab a second win on the run when they take on their own reflection or as others call it Chelsea. Everton take on last place Villa in what could be a fantastic occasion for Lu-Ka-Ku to grab the spotlight and disappoint with many captaining him. Leicester tackle Newcastle in what looks to be a goal infested fixture seeing that neither can defend. Stoke pays a visit to St. Mary’s in what could be Pelle’s last chance to prove his worth. In other action or lack thereof we see Swansea trot out Gomis and pass him off for an actual professional when they take on the Cherries. Arsenal looks to continue their assault on being declared champions in December and crying by May when they face off versus the Baggies. We close the day in what promises to be an interesting fixture when the Citizens tangle with the Scousers. In particular as the return of Kun Aguero seems imminent.
Sunday gives us one fixture, Spurs continues to pretend to be a contender when they take on the Payet-less Hammers. Will Lanzini rise as many are starting to hope? Will Kane continue his lucky, I mean great run of form? Don’t be disappointed by hearing or reading about it, tune in and be disappointed first hand.
Monday brings a close to the game-week with a fixture that can only be seen as a cruel joke to FPL fans. Do we really have to wait on Palace vs Sunderland to finish out the GW? Init, just publish fixtures before this game starts, Please!

speaking of injuries…I probably missed the discussion, but was Azpi just being rested,,martin injured? Curious.
Couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw azipillcueta on the bench! And then he comes on in the 90th minute! Sickening
Fell nearly 50k places to 83k!!! Kane as cappo to save me!!!
On FPL site!
I was asleep by the time Everton appeared on MOTD last night Snookie so haven’t seen it, but reading the comments on here, it sounds at the very least debatable.
The whole assist thing is ambiguous – personally anyone getting a Kolarov assist for Kun’s goal should be very grateful in my view – bearing in mind Kun beat 2 players, made room and curled a shot round Migs from 20 yards. We could argue all day over assists!!
Morning Cookster, all well in Moneyco ? Deulofeus effort was a shot across Guzan to sneak in at the far post, end of. Unfortunately the opta people don’t see it like that. They need to make all goals like this one assisted or no assist and stick to it.
Morning Ellie, I’ll take you word for it as I say I fell asleep so didn’t see it.
Bottom line these things happen 4/5 times a season and is all part of the game. Harsh when they go against you, but let’s face it, how many times do you see anyone comment, “cor, got an assist for XXXXXX, got a bit lucky with that one”?
True mate, i’ve got him and would have got an extra 3pts, so it didn’t really bother me. I think we all have a bigger problem in wether to bring Kun in. I’ve got Kane, Vardy and Lukaku who are all bang in form at the moment.
That’s a tough one Elle. I have Pelle so getting Kun is an easy choice – I’m not sure I’d want to lose any one of your 3. I mean I know Kun is Kun and the sign of him coming straight back and scoring makes him tempting one’s squad seems much better balanced without him.
Morning all, some decent scores yesterday I see, well apart from my 38!! Seen a lot on the 60’s and some in the 70’s.
I wonder if Eric Dier and Captain Bolasie can save me – I doubt it!!
V impressed by Liverpool last night, but how bad were City?! Was v funny – they were atrocious.
Kane as cappo to save me
Don’t take this personally Mitro, but that wouldn’t do me any favours – however I’m sure he’ll get a goal or two mate.
What happened to your boys yesterday?
We were all over them and then we suddenly collapsed, hoping coq isn’t out for too long!! The only thing that went in our favour is city getting smashed!
Any news on Coquelin?
Well according to the doctors on Twitter (Arsenal fans) he is out for either 3 weeks or 3 months!!!
Excellent – TeamTalk is going to be so much fun this week
FFS!!!
You may be lucky Mitro – I’m not about for the pressers so someone else is writing the Team news.
Relax though, I’ll be doing the intros :hippo:
Morning Cookie,Liverpool were very impressive especially Coutinho and came out of the traps very quickly which City just couldn’t cope with.Klopp has certainly got them playing as a team and working hard.Saying that,City at the back without Kompany and Ottomendi were a shambles and up front without Silva are really lacking a creative spark.De Bruyne did his best but Aguero was feeding off scraps really. Now what to do with Pelle ???
Sell the useless prick, Brooky! I should of stuck to my thoughts on him and never touched him.
Yeah Liverpool were v v good – Klopp is doing an excellent job there as I thought he would. They certainly took advantage of an appalling City – I’ve never seen a team give the ball away so easily, got knocked off the ball by the likes of Coutinho ffs!!! And the defending, wow – it was like watching Newcastle.
Shouldn’t detract from what was an excellent performance by the dippers though – winning at Chelsea and now City isn’t a fluke.
+1 as regards Pelle mate I had exactly the same thoughts but got drawn in by his form at the time and fixtures. The plan was to swap him for Aguero in a couple of weeks when I had the cash.Would mean doing it for a hit now and after last night I’m not so sure. One to ponder.
Yeah form and fixtures were there so it wasn’t a bad plan on paper – I’ve just never really rated him and still went and got him. Annoyed with myself but hindsight is never wrong is it?!
Yep and what was even more annoying,I then went and did the same thing with Bony ! Lol Gonna stick to my gut and try not to over think things from now on !!
Me too Brooky re Bony. Haha what a pair of wallies eh?!
Good Evening Gents,
I’m in a dilemma wheather to get aguero or not . Is it worth getting him for a -8 this week and i have to remove ighalo/vardy + Sanchez/kdb. Im not sure whom to remove out of ighalo and vardy even if i’m making the transfers next week.
Hi Hari – you need to wait for news on Coutinho – if he is ruled out for a while they you can sell him. Not convinced Kun is worth an 8pt hit though.
No rush to get Aguero, especially not for -8 !! Ighalo has 3 nice fixtures coming up,Vardy and Leicester look capable of scoring against anybody and City are lacking a creative spark at the moment.
Best replacement for that greasy Italian pelle?
Already have lukaku and vardy
Let’s face it Shanec, anyone is better than that turd.
I’ll be getting Kun assuming he hasn’t got injured before Friday but I have the cash. Can you afford him?
Kane or Giroud the next best I think.
Yeh they are he haven’t really hit off since I got him. I would prob have to downgrade a midfielder
Or Bertie to Souare, Shanec?
Yeh that could work cookie cheers. Bertie bit hit and miss atm. Prob best to wait for after champs league games.
Bloody hell Cookie you’ve back tracked on Aguero !! How come the dramatic change of heart ??
Brooky, you’re right I have and I’ll explain why. When talking, helping, advising on here I often lose track of my FPL aim, which is just to win my Mini league. When I looked at the leaders on Friday, none of them have Kun nor do they have any cash in the bank so I think it makes sense for me to get him now and hope he does well for a couple of weeks before others work him in or hit to get him in.
That’s good thinking mate.It will take most people a hit or two to get him in at the mo and for the first couple of weeks he could be a great differential. Not worried after watching city’s performance last night ?
Brooky – I brought Kun in last night and pretty much for the same reason cookie highlighted! My main two rivals are really going to struggle getting him in without a major hit
Not really Brooky, he still scored on his return and I doubt City can be that bad again. One or both of Kompany and Otamendi will be back next week to keep things tighter at the back rather than the pantomime horse that was Demi and Mangala. That will
give them their normal platform to build attacks and we all know what they can do from there. Especially with Kun lurking.
When all people were saying Kun wouldn’t be a good choice, will have same points as Kane/lukaku at the end and all that I disagreed and got him, he’s 13.0 for a reason probably best player in EPL and a game changer, yesterday’s goal was proof of it and just wait till Silva comes back he will be even better! It also comes down as he’s my fav player in EPL and would get him whenever he’s fit, after game against Chelsea at the start of season I captained him for 5 consecutive weeks and it finally paid off in the 5th week with him scoring 5 goals, was behind by 40-50 points to leader in mini league and than boom we were equal! That’s why I love him and would keep him till he’s fit even though he blanks 2-3 Gw’s
Very brave move that Mitro mate considering City have a champions league game midweek and Agueros fitness issues.
Not disputing any of Agueros qualities Snookie and normally I’d have him straight back in my team and probably will, just a little sooner than I would have liked.
Unfortunately Kun was going up last night! That 0.1 would have screwed me!
Fingers crossed he comes through the midweek game fine – they have qualified so he should only play 45-60
