Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 13 – Fantasy Premier League 2015/16

Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 8GW13 is live! We kick it off with a snoozer. Watford, who have only scored 3 goals at home this season play a Man United side that has combined with their opponents to score a grand total of 2 goals over their last three games. That non-tasty appetizer is followed by six, 3pm games. Norwich will look to grab a second win on the run when they take on their own reflection or as others call it Chelsea. Everton take on last place Villa in what could be a fantastic occasion for Lu-Ka-Ku to grab the spotlight and disappoint with many captaining him. Leicester tackle Newcastle in what looks to be a goal infested fixture seeing that neither can defend. Stoke pays a visit to St. Mary’s in what could be Pelle’s last chance to prove his worth. In other action or lack thereof we see Swansea trot out Gomis and pass him off for an actual professional when they take on the Cherries. Arsenal looks to continue their assault on being declared champions in December and crying by May when they face off versus the Baggies. We close the day in what promises to be an interesting fixture when the Citizens tangle with the Scousers. In particular as the return of Kun Aguero seems imminent.

Sunday gives us one fixture, Spurs continues to pretend to be a contender when they take on the Payet-less Hammers. Will Lanzini rise as many are starting to hope? Will Kane continue his lucky, I mean great run of form? Don’t be disappointed by hearing or reading about it, tune in and be disappointed first hand.

Monday brings a close to the game-week with a fixture that can only be seen as a cruel joke to FPL fans. Do we really have to wait on Palace vs Sunderland to finish out the GW? Init, just publish fixtures before this game starts, Please!

    Back in the UK again from an incredible honeymoon and it’s back to the business of Fantasy Football! Current team is below and so I’m looking to offload Pelle. Just wish Aguero wasn’t so expensive! Which of the options below should I go for?

    1. Pelle > Kane
    2. Pelle > Kane and Targett > Dann (4-point hit)
    3. Pelle > Aguero and Sanchez > Coutinho (4-point hit)
    4. Pelle > Aguero, Rojo > Kelly and Redmond > Watson (8-point hit)

      • Haha, cheers Silvers! Fighting horrendous jet lag at the mo and so will be off to sleep very soon! The wedding and honeymoon both went brilliantly thanks – went far, far too quickly!

      As for the picks I’d probably just go Pelle to Kane for now. 3 is an option too but we need to know the status of Coutinho first. Don’t like 2 or 4 purely because it’s hits for defenders. That said your defence isn’t in the best shape given the fixtures ahead as WBA and Bournemouth both have difficult runs ahead.

      • Cheers, Init! It all went far too quickly – the wedding was a blast, New York was incredible, Las Vegas was mental and San Francisco was so relaxing. Got back into Birmingham at 7am this morning after 20 hours of travelling however, on the plus side, I did manage to catch Arsenal v West Brom and Man City v Liverpool on the plane’s satellite telly! Not back at work until Tuesday and so there’s still a bit more quality time tomorrow.

        Thanks for that – yeah, it’s really tricky with how badly lined up my defence is for this gameweek and the next few. I don’t think it’ll be like the last time Man Utd were at Leicester, but I still definitely can’t see the reds keeping a clean sheet, Bournemouth are horrendous defensively and I’m not convinced Evans will keep a clean sheet away at West Ham. Will just do the Pelle > Kane move now, however I’ll have a think on changing a defender like Targett before next weekend and then just pretend that the hit was on Kane!

    • We both have the same front 7, and I am getting Kane probably. Dont think its smart to go in the next 3 GWs without Sanchez.

    • 3 if Coutinho is fit. 1 if he isn’t.

  2. Would you prefer to “downgrade” KDB to Ozil to fund Pelle to Aguero or say Evans to Simpson or Kolarov to someone cheaper?

    This is for a minus 4. If I had done it last night would have cost 0.2 less. Thinking Ill do it tonight and take the risk.

    Could also just go Pelle to Kane but Chelsea might be improving.

    Meandering thinking – thoughts?

    • Evening Dreamers. If you can fund it via Evans downgrade then i’d do that. I’ve brought in Kane myself, will wait on Aguero for a bit.

        On the fence really with CL being midweek. Kane is prob the safer option as dont usually do a trf so early and especially for a hit

        • Not bad, recovering from a night out! Yeah, a hit this early is always risky, as is a single transfer i suppose.

    • Not convinced on Chelsea yet mate, Spurs should be good for scoring a couple in that one at least. 1-0 over Norwich was the minimum requirement and that’s all they mustered. Kane for me I think.

    • Dreamers yes if you can down grd Evans that’s the way to go maybe Woll @ Stk worth a look plenty of clean shts lately not bad fixtures he will also go up tonight not sure if you have enough cash for that.

      • not enough for that Silvers unfortunately. Think Ill go the Kane route, Cheers for the idea – have put him and Shawcross on the list but prob in a few weeks time

    • Shadow, bony to kane shall be fine..no need to take hits.

      Midfielders and GKS are fine.

      You have 3 defenders with game time worries and Bony injury.

      Depends of you want Aguero or Kane really to replace Bony.

      If Aguero then you’ll also need to consider dropping Rojo.

      Kane for me and perhaps Davies to Walker (if you are happy to take a hit). Cameron to Wollscheid or Pieters after that.

      • +1, shadow ,would wait for the weekend to make the transfers as city face juventus this week. Anything might happen to “mr glass ankles”.. Kane would be safer bet..cheers

          Constantine – Yes that would be the sensible option, just not sure if I want to leave Aguero out!

          GP – For Aguero I was going to drop Sanchez to Ozil to afford it, bad idea?

          Not at all. I did the same move this past week. Paid off straight away but no doubt the worry is there that Sanchez might have a bonanza in one game.
