    Evening all,

Well, not going incredibly this week, 21 with 3pts from 2 players coming off the bench. At least I have Aguero(c) to come tomorrow (and praying on Baines). Been dropping like a stone the last few weeks and the top 10k is slipping away from me. Have a lengthy flag list for midweek. What should I do?!

    0m itb, 1FT
    Krul Manonne
    Baines Wisdom Duff Yun Chester
    Sanchez Hazard ADM Downing Cork
    Aguero Costa Austin

Plan is ditch ADM until Jan, thinking maybe bring Siggy back in and then upgrade Chester to Terry maybe for a hit/next week dependent on team sheets on Tuesday. Good plan? Also need a keeper…probably Fabianski

Other names for mf could be Mata/Herera as I’m worried about no United coverage (not that I’m biased on that front)

    Cheers in advance guys

Hi Partisan, I think ADM to Siggy makes sense (I also just did the same thing). Duff and Yun are flagged so maybe getting Chelsea defence soon is also a good idea. Surely Terry must be due some BPL goals soon but most recommendations seem to prefer the cheaper option of Azpi.

      • Partisan says:

Yeah, think I’ll go that way. Cheers. Can’t get Azpi as my main rival has him – need a differential to catch him up.

Think I’ll do ADM -> Siggy then and would you do Duff -> Terry or Mannone -> Guzan/Fabianski for a -4 as I don’t have a playing keeper….

        • Odd1Out says:

Tricky one. You do need a keeper so I would probably deal with that first. My preference is Fab but Guzan is a good shout and also cheaper.

Woke up to the horror story of my GW – only 18pts with two to play and dropped out of the top 1000. I need Aguero to score 4 again!

This is how i am going to lineup for the first mid-week games. Thoughts?

    De Gea

    Baines – Bertrand – Hutton – Taylor

    Fabregas – Chadli – Sigurdsson – Hazard

    Aguero – Austin

    Myhill – Boyd – Wisdom – Costa

What should i be looking to do next week with 0.3k in the bank and 1ft?

I’d save the transfer chap. Only thing is keep an eye on Chadli – will he play two games so close together coming back from injury? Tough to think who to go with instead in that price bracket though…

Evening all. Not a great week all round by the looks of it. 37 with 2 to play doesn’t seem so bad. Main problem is I have 6 flags. Thinking of a few options:
    ADM & Sakho > Rooney & 7.3 mid
    ADM & Sakho > Aguero & 4.9 mid
    ADM & Sakho & Costa > Rooney & Aguero & Jedinak

Any helpful advice on those options?

      Partisan says:

what’s your full team/how many FTs do you have SAF?

      • SAFs_hairdryer says:

        This is my current team

        • Partisan says:

Wow, cheap up top – good when cheapies are scoring but tough once they stop/get injured to get someone reliable in!

Too much in defence for me. Given Azpi/Baines/Taylor is great til Jan pretty much, I’d consider selling Clyne given his fixtures (I did but will get him back with Jan wildcard probably). I’d go Hutton as a cheap option and Villa’s decent run. Can do that next week though. Saying that maybe next week do Krul to Guzan and keep Clyne.

This week Definitely B, Aguero and 4.9. Go for the cheapest guaranteed starter you can. the less the better as it will give you flex for replacing Krul later.

          Otherwise all good.

        • Odd1Out says:

Just do B for a 4pt hit. There are a lot of sub5million mids to choose from – just select one who regularly plays.

    Nosaj says:

    Hey guys,

On 40 (-4) with only Baines left. What is the news with the Di Maria injury, does he need to be transferred out? I’m thinking of just benching Costa perhaps, I could bring Downing on as he is my 5th mid ATM. Thoughts? I also need to work out a way to get Aguero in. Costa is close to a lock (isn’t he???), Austin and Bony are both cheap, in great form and have great fixtures for the the time being. Thoughts?

      gkw says:

Yeah, well ADM looks out for a couple of games. You could just bench him, but it might be worse and that’s a lot of value to have sitting games out. Sanchez is tantalisingly just out of reach for you, and there’s nobody else in the same class. So either you downgrade to say Eriksen and invest elsewhere (you could even use the cash to replace Costa with Aguero) or downgrade a defender (Clyne? – but see how he does today) to raise cash so you can trade ADM to Sanchez. It’s a tough call. Good luck!

      • Nosaj says:

Pity with Walcott’s injury. I was able to afford Costa and Di Maria to Aguero and Walcott until today’s prices rises. I would of been very happy with those transfers…… I think I may watch how Clyne goes tonight. He may be important if I was to upgrade to Sanchez/Aguero, but I would not be willing to get rid of him if he was to keep a CS tonight. Another option could be downgrading Dummett to Yun, as Newcastle’s fixtures are about to get tough, but that would pend on Yun’s fitness test. Or maybe Yaya Toure until the Jan WC if he scores/assists tonight? That would be 5, 10 and whatever he scores tonight on the trot, and with Sunderland (a), Everton (H), Leicester (a), Palace (H), West Brom (a), Burnley (H), Sunderland (H) to come, with all being in the bottom 10 goals against, I feel he could be about to explode and be a great point of difference. Thoughts on Yaya?

        • gkw says:

True, Nosaj, Yaya could be a good replacement at least while Silva and ADM are out. He’ll be another player to monitor in the Soton-ManC match today.

        • Nosaj says:

I am highly considering Yaya, I think he might just start to fire with this easy run, depending on how he goes tonight. Would be a point of difference compared to most who have/are getting Sanchez and if he gets going, that would be a great transfer that could lift me way up the rankings. Thanks for helping out gkw btw smile Good luck with whatever you do as well
