Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 13 – Fantasy Premier League 2014/15
The deadline bell has rung and your decisions are final – starting XI, order of your subs and most importantly your captain has been decided and there ain’t no turning back now…
GW12 was a bit of a disappointment on the whole for most fantasy managers but here’s hoping GW13 can bring that smile back to your face. We begin with a Saturday lunchtime fixure this week as West Brom welcome Arsenal and this is followed quickly be no less than six games at 3pm and Saturday is rounded off nicely with an evening game as Chelsea travel to the Stadium of Light to see how many own goals they can force Wes Brown to score…
West Brom v Arsenal 12.45pm
Burnley v Aston Villa
Liverpool v Stoke 3pm
Man Utd v Hull 3pm
QPR v Leicester 3pm
Swansea v Crystal Palace 3pm
West Ham v Newcastle 3pm
Sunderland v Chelsea 5.30pm
Sunday sees the conclusion of GW13 with the remaining two games…
Southampton v Man City 1.30pm
Spurs v Everton 4pm
There are no Monday night games this week as GW14 begins on Tuesday.
Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.
Good luck to absolutely everyone for GW13 from all at FF247!

Bless him, the overall highest scoring player this week has made 118 transfers this season

But he still has his wildcard most importantly 😉

Ha, brilliant. Guess it’s all worth it to have his name up in lights for a day!
Nosaj
With a -44 point hit this week…… 😉
peakydave
Wow Cookie I thought mine was bad! It looks like I might be doing back to back -8 pointers!! 😉
Cookie
Not quite sure which way to go yet Peaky – as I was saying to Kop last night Sanchez is the one player I haven’t got that I fear not having.

I didn’t see the game y’day but I do wonder if Alexis is at his best playing just off one striker. If Wenger is going to play Giroud and Welbeck is this detrimental to Alexis being the force he was a few weeks ago?
TheDreamers
hey guys, Tekno put it into my head to go cheaper and strengthen elsewhere. He didnt realise I didnt have Sanchez at the time but its an interesting idea.
Cookie
Dreamers, just been looking at City’s fixtures – Yaya looks interesting until he goes off to ACON. Thoughts?
TheDreamers
Cookie – I dont think he has shown anything consistently at all. If looking at City, then maybe Silva when he is back.
At the moment I am thinking someone like Downing/Mirallas and upgrading Clyne to one of Coleman or Cahill or hell throw Isla into the mix for a minus 8.
So Clyne/Isla/ADM out
Cahill/Coleman (Everton double up) and Downing in
Could do just the Downing one also but it looks appealing to me. The following week could sort the goalkeeper.
Cookie
Dreamers, have you considered Jedinak – was looking at him last night and their fixtures are ok, he’s on set pieces and in good form.
Re. Silva, he’s not even back yet and ADM will depart before GW14, need someone now and I think it’s either Yaya or Alexis.
TheDreamers
good point on Jedinak. ADM to Jedinak feels a bit wrong though does it?
Cookie
It does until you compare their recent returns and then look at Palace’s fixtures.
TheDreamers
just had a look – fair point.
TheDreamers
Cookie – your view then on doing 1,2 or 3 transfer this week (have only 1 FT)
Cookie
Dreamers, I don’t see a problem with a 4pt hit. However I would be very reluctant with an 8pter. They rarely pay off mate, for instance everyone expected Chelsea to win at Sunderland, Swanseato keep a vs vs Palace, Alexis to do well at West Brom etc etc….
So yeah, 2 transfers is understandable this week, I’d think very seriously about 3. I’d also remind to wait as late as possible as this is one of the few GWs of the season that we get to see Tuesday’s line ups before the GW deadline.
TheDreamers
cheers Cookie.

It’s usually worth taking hits if you can’t field 11 players, or to replace players with longterm injuries. But not for tinkering.
TheDreamers
Gkw – normally I am not in favour of hits, but:
the following week I plan to get sort out the GK position so wouldnt be able to do it that week unless for hit.
that means that Cahill and Coleman would need to outscore 2 of Clyne/ Isla and Brunt over the next 4 gameweeks (if did it for no hits) by 8 points. That seems likely doesnt it?

Any body know news about krul injury?
Got bit of problem. Got him but my reserve keeper is myhill. Any ideas of a replacement got 4.5 in the bank. ?
webstar87
Foster or Pantilimon are good enough 4.5/4.4 options.
Not heard about the Krul injury yet, hopefully he’s back next game as I have him too.

Cheers webstar

Krul, Chadli, Naismith, Yun, Costa, Di Maria all out for me next game week. This is after I took out Wilson (Stoke) for Yun, who ended up playing and Yun ended up getting injured this week.
Done Di Maria to Sanchez and hoping Naismith and/Chadli both start today and stay injury-free. If they do, I can field 11 with 1 spare next game week…if they don’t then -4/-8 hit or a Wild Card.
On top of it all, the guy second in my work’s money league captained Austin this weekend and is now a handful of points behind me.
webstar87
…and a more important question is: is it time to bring in “Big-guns” Bojan??
17 points in last three games, rock-bottom price at 4.9m and owned by just 3.1% haha.
Nosaj
Well, I’ve been watching him and I will continue to. If this guy gets a run on, I feel he’ll go on with it. He very much appears to be a confidence player and if he was to snag a few over the coming weeks, I will have to highly consider him along with Harry Kane as a differential cheap budget striker. The thing that is going against him however, is his fixtures
TomW13
I am pretty much stuffed in my main league if Southampton collect a cleansheet. My opponent has Fonte, Bertrand and Clyne!
