GW12 was a bit of a disappointment on the whole for most fantasy managers but here’s hoping GW13 can bring that smile back to your face. We begin with a Saturday lunchtime fixure this week as West Brom welcome Arsenal and this is followed quickly be no less than six games at 3pm and Saturday is rounded off nicely with an evening game as Chelsea travel to the Stadium of Light to see how many own goals they can force Wes Brown to score…

Wow, us Aguero (c)’ers can breath a sigh of relief! Really unlucky at the same time though, a terrible decision by the ref and a piece of superb GK’ing by Forster away from a monster haul. Then the slip, which was most unfortunate.

Hey guys just wondering when do the points deductions get taken away like do we start with -4 or does it get taken away when all the games are finished??
MattX – Point hits are taken away from total scores after the first points update, i.e yesterday :thumbup:

Correct. GW scores are never reduced, point hits get taken away from your total ponts, rather than the individual GW score.
Well, GW score gets reduced in H2H leagues, but not in classic leagues :thumbup:

I would go for Sanchez mate. Southampton showed today that they aren’t up to it when playing the better teams. I fully expect Arsenal to beat them, and Sanchez to do well. My 2nd option would be Fabregas but with him being on 4 YC’s, it may not be the best time to buy him anyway. Sanchez is probably your best bet, for me.
So guys – I want to wildcard – but I have 2 FTs for this week…
What do you think about saving the wildcard, take a punt on Mata (for Di Maria) for one week, then getting Hazard when I play it the following gameweek?
Turning 18 should have made you more aware of the importance of not loosing a FT by wildcarding when in possession of 2FTs!! 😛 I would keep the wildcard for now and use the 2 FTs. Do not change anything yet. Wait til Tuesday evening when the line ups are in. If Mata plays why not take a punt but if you already plan on changing him the week after just bring in Hazard directly?
Haha I’ve known all along! Had a plan to use those 2 FTs until Di Maria’s injury… and I’d do the Hazard swap directly if I wasn’t 0.1m short. Ah well, seeing as Hazard is rising quickly and Di Maria is falling I may just bite the bullet and press that button tonight. Tuesday lineups will help no doubt!
