Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 13 – Fantasy Premier League 2014/15
The deadline bell has rung and your decisions are final – starting XI, order of your subs and most importantly your captain has been decided and there ain’t no turning back now…
GW12 was a bit of a disappointment on the whole for most fantasy managers but here’s hoping GW13 can bring that smile back to your face. We begin with a Saturday lunchtime fixure this week as West Brom welcome Arsenal and this is followed quickly be no less than six games at 3pm and Saturday is rounded off nicely with an evening game as Chelsea travel to the Stadium of Light to see how many own goals they can force Wes Brown to score…
West Brom v Arsenal 12.45pm
Burnley v Aston Villa
Liverpool v Stoke 3pm
Man Utd v Hull 3pm
QPR v Leicester 3pm
Swansea v Crystal Palace 3pm
West Ham v Newcastle 3pm
Sunderland v Chelsea 5.30pm
Sunday sees the conclusion of GW13 with the remaining two games…
Southampton v Man City 1.30pm
Spurs v Everton 4pm
There are no Monday night games this week as GW14 begins on Tuesday.
Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.
Good luck to absolutely everyone for GW13 from all at FF247!
Quick opinion poll: Yaya or Sanchez? I can get Yaya at 10.6 or Sanchez at 11.0. Taking a 4 point hit whichever I go for
Toure. I think he’ll be a big player over the next few weeks.
Sanchez is a forward, Yaya is a defensive midfielder! IMO Sanchez for me
+1
You do realize this argument backfired last season?
And it will [probably backfire this season, too !
At least in the b=next couple of games till Christmas/NY !
Especially with City vs ARS fixture list & the return of Giroud…
The return of Giroud makes things interesting. I didn’t see the Arsenal game yesterday – did Sanchez play as more of a midfielder than a striker? (due to Giroud and Welbeck also being on the pitch)
@TheFox – yes, he played a bit behind them…
Was less dangerous…
No, didn’t realise that at all B. Last season Sanchez wasn’t playing in England. But he did score 23 goals in 50 matches in Spain, similar to YYT’s 24 in 52 here. And over their whole careers, Sanchez has averaged 31 per 100 games while YYT has averaged “only” 15 per 100.
45 (-8) for me. Not the best week but feel vindicated in taking hits.
Injury and suspension issues again. 1 FT, 0.3 itb
Need DI Maria out. Toure would be my ideal replacement, could fund it with Routledge in for Henderson.
a) Toure, Routeldge in for Di Maria, Henderson (would need to do this today)
b) Ramsay in for Di Maria (didn’t see the Arsenal game, how was Ramsay?)
c) something else
Glad this horrible GW is over. Last night I hit the WC button and chose to go with the cheapest defense. It was a ballsy decision, but didnt pay off at all since my 3 defenders scored a total of 3 point only, which is ridiculous. Sanchez and ADM did not perform, which is the reason why I ended up on 42 points.
Any way, with 1FT and almost nothing itb, who is my biggest concern going in the next GW and what are the suggested replacements?
.
Di Maria to Oscar but if you don’t want to double up in midfield then maybe Eriksen??
Hi everyone,
Hope you’ve had a better gameweek than me – I’ve had an absolute shocker. 28 measly points.
Changed ADM for Sigurdsson last night before the price change. As Krul is going to apparently be out until Boxing Day, which of the following keeper should I replace him with?:
1. Foster (WHU home, HUL away, AVL home)
2. Heaton (NEW home, QPR away, SOU home)
It will be a four-point hit, but I currently have no keeper as my other one is Jakupovic!
Thinking that, with the money left over, I could upgrade Downing to Eriksen (as he seems to have found some form) for the gameweek after the one coming up.
Anyway, team is below – let me know your thoughts! Despairing!
Your phone battery is almost out. Since I have to overthink what you have to do the message won’t make it in time. So I figured I’d just waste your time with this response.
It’s on charge now, sucker! 😉
Personally I’m a big fan of getting Fabianski, but you need money. Can you get Krul?
If I had to choose between those 2 you mentioned I’d go with Foster.
Both have minimum cleanie potential.
Just do a coin toss.
Cheers, B – are there any other keepers you would recommend who are no more than 4.8m?
I’ve gone for Krul & Elliot, cheap and ones guaranteed to play!
Another terrible gameweek. 42.
You have more green arrows than red, Raz
Still red arrows though. >.<
NIN,
That’s two biggies I owe you for the inspired instruction on Aguero as captain. Dare I ask about Sunderland? Until his hamstring snaps?
ps I know Spurs played over their heads today, but our fullbacks will come good-even this week.
