Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 15 – Fantasy Premier League 2014/15

Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 10After a hectic mid-week schedule we are back to the normal weekend action for a few weeks before we hit the ridiculous Christmas pile-up. GW15 begins with a lunchtime game as Newcastle face the unenviable task of welcoming Chelsea before we have five 3pm kick-offs and Saturday is concluded with a cracker as Man City host bitter rivals Everton.

Saturday in full…

Newcastle v Chelsea 12.45pm
Hull v West Brom 3pm
Liverpool v Sunderland 3pm
QPR v Burnley 3pm
Spurs v Crystal Palace 3pm
Stoke v Arsenal 3pm
Man City v Everton 5.45pm

‘Super Sunday’ may be more like ‘Lacklustre Sunday’ as the games aren’t that inspiring but there will at least be interest in West Ham v Swansea…

West Ham v Swansea 1.30pm
Aston Villa v Leicester 4pm

Regardless of what Sunday brings or doesn’t the game-week concludes on Monday evening with a very tasty game…

Southampton v Man Utd 8pm

Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.

Good luck to absolutely everyone for GW15 from all at FF247!

      12 wow!

If money is no object then Courtois for me, closely followed by Hart.

If money is tighter, I like Guzan. Apart from Man Utd in two weeks (which is at home as well), they actually have a fair run until the end of January.

      Baines
      Azpilicueta
      Zabaleta
      Clichy

      in that order.

GP – Yep … I can’t believe I’m actually doing this… But I will be only able to field 9 players if duff is still injured come Fridays pressers, it could either be my defining moment of my season or worst!! sad I have already taken out kun and fab for YYT & dzeko

Got 4.2 ITB so money isn’t a issue – just need to find some bankers this week!! Baines at home to QPR without Austin is on for a clean sheet isn’t it?? Courtois at Home to hull.. Banker??

        This is currently my team

What Would you do mate? Your advice would be greatly appreciated!

        • mitro,

If you decide to do two more transfers then I think Fabianski to Courtois and Duff to Baines would be excellent moves. Can you afford those two?

I’d perhaps fancy Courtois for a CS but less so Baines, Everton are very leaky at the back, but that’s not really why you are buying him is it? 😉

If you did those two moves you should have a very strong team for the weekend.

        • Mitro says:

Well a clean sheet would be nice mate smile

I have exactly enough to do duff & fabanksi to baines & courtois

          What you reckon?

Whats your thoughts on captain this week?

        • GentleBenAKA says:

I agree with GP. I would suggest swapping Myhill for a GK that is playing, and rest Fabianksi, and do the same with McShane, but I can see that you might not want to do that given the WC coming up.

        • Mitro,

Having confirmed two transfers already and now faced with the alternative of having no playing GK and only two defenders, I rather strangely agree with the hits for this team.

I’m only answering honestly to what I would likely do in your shoes. I hope Courtois and Baines will be in your team for a long time and therefore not just moves for one week, because if that was the case, then definitely not worth it.

        • Mitro says:

Ben – I’m hoping I can sort everything once my wildcard comes into play – something always came up when I was about to sort my bench out

        • GentleBenAKA says:

Agree with GP and understand where you’re coming from Mitro. Also, getting Baines and Courtois now will avoid paying extra for them once the WC kicks in and everyone else gets them and their prices sky rocket! They are good long term buys. My only preference (and this is purely just me) is I would go for Azpi over Baines so I have a bit of cash to splash elsewhere.

        • Mitro says:

If I’m being honest courtois has been on my radar for a long time – so it’s perfect timing for me – baines will be for at least the next few weeks. I think they are good moves the more I think of it…. I hope!!

-12?!!! Can you not rest Fab for one week? He’s only suspended for one game and is otherwise in top form with decent games coming up. In terms of defenders, if money is no worries then I would say Baines, but I think Azpi is better value for money.

Hopefully these goals kickstart ramseys season – he is defindately a player who needs to get his confidence back
