Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 15 – Fantasy Premier League 2014/15

Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 10After a hectic mid-week schedule we are back to the normal weekend action for a few weeks before we hit the ridiculous Christmas pile-up. GW15 begins with a lunchtime game as Newcastle face the unenviable task of welcoming Chelsea before we have five 3pm kick-offs and Saturday is concluded with a cracker as Man City host bitter rivals Everton.

Saturday in full…

Newcastle v Chelsea 12.45pm
Hull v West Brom 3pm
Liverpool v Sunderland 3pm
QPR v Burnley 3pm
Spurs v Crystal Palace 3pm
Stoke v Arsenal 3pm
Man City v Everton 5.45pm

‘Super Sunday’ may be more like ‘Lacklustre Sunday’ as the games aren’t that inspiring but there will at least be interest in West Ham v Swansea…

West Ham v Swansea 1.30pm
Aston Villa v Leicester 4pm

Regardless of what Sunday brings or doesn’t the game-week concludes on Monday evening with a very tasty game…

Southampton v Man Utd 8pm

Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.

Good luck to absolutely everyone for GW15 from all at FF247!

    Ok, wildcard activated. The Fabianski red card sort of killed any hope of fielding 11 players without taking a 12 point or a 16 point hit. FFS, never figured I’d use my wildcard this soon. Anyway. This is what my team looks like at the moment. Siggy and Hazard are going up tonight.

    When there is more news on Kun I’ll also know what to do with Austin, Oscar, the goalies (might get Hart instead), a Chelsea defender and another mid.

      Everybody is telling me to take a punt on Clichy, I fear he will lose his spot or at least be rotated a lot.

      • TheDreamers says:

        Wudnt touch him Raz for those same reasons

        • +1, this is coming from the FF247 City expert. Stay clear of Clichy. He’ll need replacing when Kolarov is match fit.

        • Raziel says:

          Which City players should I get? I still think 10.7m is a bit much for Yaya, even though everybody is stepping on that bandwagon. Hoping Silva will return soonish. 2m difference.

        • Looking at City’s next 5 I’d deffo bring in a defender.
          Kompany and Mangala are the defensive options, don’t trust Hart as Caballero should get some gametime.
          Nasri should start, but has only 1 assist since returning from injury. If Milner was nailed on I’d suggest him, but with Silva back he’s even less likely to start. I think City’s gonna play 4-2-3-1 with Dzeko and Jovetic rotating up top, and Nasri – Silva – Navas/Milner behind them. If SIlva plays in the no.10 role, he should get some points. Jovetic should also get points, but I doubt he’ll start every match. Dzeko… totally out of form this season, but reckon he’ll get minutes regardless.
          I’d bring in Kompany this week if he is declared fit, and Silva is most likely the best attacking option, but wait until he’s proven his fitness.

        • Raziel says:

          So I shouldn’t bother with Dzeko?

        • Raziel says:

          Something like this Teks?

        • I can understand that it’s tempting, however I’m skeptical towards him myself. He’s been totally out of form this season, and I’d much rather see Jovetic play over him, but I think they’ll rotate as they both have recently returned from injury. The return of Silva can prove invaluable to Dzeko as Silva’s passing and Dzeko’s poaching can mean points for both of them, but I’d rather wait and see if this happens than bring him in now.

        • I’d much rather have Bony over Dzeko, Raz.

      • EBC says:

        Bring Clichy in anyway because he may rise 0.2, you can take him out later in the week if you don’t want him.

        • Raziel says:

          Don’t see him rising 0.2m. Maybe if he would rise tonight but at his current rate he’ll rise tomorrow. Don’t think against before next week. Will have to see though. Sighs.

      inittowinit says:

      Raz you may as well ditch Kun and get in someone who looks likely to rise by a couple this week? Say he drops 1 and Rooney scores tomorrow he will likely go up immediately and given he’s the obvious ish go to from Kun he is likely to regardless. I know you like a penny so just saying in that respect it’s worth the move even if you don’t want him ultimately come Saturday in the final team?

      • Raziel says:

        Hmmm. Kun can actually drop 0.1m and it won’t cost me anything. Don’t see any strikers rising tonight. What if by a miracle the Kun injury ain’t all that bad and he can play next weekend? I’d be killing myself if I sold him, I paid 12.4m for him and he’s 12.9m now.

      • Raziel says:

        I know you guys advised against me using the wildcard saying everybody will take a hit. My team was looking particularly bad though. Don’t see a horror gameweek like this coming again anytime soon. Also don’t see how a DGW could make up for a 12 point or a 16 point hit. You can usually work you way up to a dgw. My nightmare squad had:
        1. Fabianski
        2. Chambers
        3. Moore (won’t play next GW because Morgan returns)
        4. Albrighton gets 11 minutes at most and plays City
        5. Fabregas suspended
        6. Aguero injured
        7. Austin suspended

        That’s 4 players I had to fix and a 12 point. Not even taking into account the defenders that did play had impossible fixtures (cleansheet wise).

      EBC says:

      I’d get O’Shea instead of Dummett. Or even Wisdom if you don’t want to go double Sunderland.

      • Raziel says:

        Yeah, was thinking the same. But won’t touch Dummett till I know what will happen with the rest of the squad. In GW17 (2 GW’s) they play Sunderland at home, which is kind of tasty, plus I only paid 4m for him (made 0.2m on him), so I’ll wait as long as possible with players like him, Kun. Only sold Chambers (made 0.3m on him) because I never see Arsenal coming good with him in the squad. :p

    Lads, I got hit bad by suspensions this week, however I fear not as my brilliant mind shall see me through this. I have devised a plan, please do give me your thoughts if you wish:

    Fabianski -> Courtios
    Moore -> Baines
    Aguero -> Bony
    This will give me 10-11 players next week depending on Duff.

    Future transfers I’ve got on me magnificient mind are:
    Clyne/Chambers -> Kompany
    Chadli -> Silva/Downing

    Evening All smile !!
    Can you imagine I have missed to change my team as was on the road and managed to field only 9 players ?
    Haha… lol…crazy 2 wks with so many injured players…

    The only good ting in this is that I missed to change my Cpt as I did no changes – so my Cpt is still Rooney :dance: & I have 2FT’s for net week :dance: !!

    All in all – seems I will be fine !

    p.s. not to mention I have tons of green arrows with only 9 players on the field… Insane !!!

    Ok guys what do we thk Aguero > Rooney & Austin > Bony or Dzeko or leave Austin on bench

    Safe to say this has been a nightmare Gameweek, still have my wildcard, Is it time?

    • 276.1
      Raziel says:

      Looks a lot like my team and I used it. I also had Moore though, you have Clyne. 😉

      • duthers says:

        Raz
        Yeah, get another one in January so i imagine this one will be used to take aguero out and the next one will be used to take aguero in. You made the team or are you waiting for aguero news?

        • Raziel says:

          Ummm. Playing with wildcard but keeping Kun till I’m certain what’s the deal with him. On a positive note, none of the strikers are rising and well I already have 2.5m extra SV in the bank, so I think my team is already great value.

        • Raziel says:

          Look at my comments above why I used my wildcard now and I don’t wait another 4 or 5 gw’s till January wildcard. I doubt a DGW can make up for this, I really do. We have to take a 12 point to 16 point hit and still our teams are a bit shaky at the moment. It’s hell. I remember from last year I can work my way up to DGW’s and it’s usually the big team players you need (Chelsea/City/Arsenal). Those you most of the time already have.

          Hmmmmmmmmmmmm, also. We can say it’s just 4/5 gameweeks, I remember I lost last season between gameweek 4 and gameweek 6.

        • duthers says:

          Raz
          My internet has been acting up so just seen this now. So are you saying wait till January wildcard? Another question, do wildcards stack? So if I don’t use IT will I have 2? SO MANY QUESTIONS :hippo:

        • Raziel says:

          Off for bed soonish. I would use my WC if that was my team. Like I said, yours looks a lot like mine and mine is active. You must go with your gut though. Anyway, scroll up. I explained why I used mine above and even here. FFS. JUST READ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

          Jan wildcard you can only use in January, this WC you have now you can use the entire season but only once, so once activated it will end the next gw and you can’t ever use it again.

        • Raziel says:

          ON that note, I see you have 2 Ft’s, I just had 1. The choice is yours.

      Brookyboy says:

      Think you can get away with a -4 there Duthers and save your wildcard.Switch Aguero to Bony/Rooney Benteke or whoever Fabregas to Hazard and if you have the cash Fabianski to Courtois.Bench Chambers and Austin.
