After a hectic mid-week schedule we are back to the normal weekend action for a few weeks before we hit the ridiculous Christmas pile-up. GW15 begins with a lunchtime game as Newcastle face the unenviable task of welcoming Chelsea before we have five 3pm kick-offs and Saturday is concluded with a cracker as Man City host bitter rivals Everton.

Ted, wait for Champions League games this week but otherwise Aguero to Costa is the obvious choice. leave Chambers and Austin on the bench for one week
Disastrous gameweek for me. 29 points and only forster left. Team is in a complete mess. I’m thinking of getting hazard for fabregas and rooney for aguero for a 4 point hit or should I just wildcard? Really in need of some suggestions. Any suggestion appreciated.Thankyou
KP- it is a bit of a mess but nothing to panic about. Lets see if we can keep hold of that Wildcard. Wait to see if Rooney gets through tonight and then Aguero to Rooney sounds good. Chambers can be benched for this week so you can play Dummet, Yun and Baines. Chadli’s game time is now a worry and El Ahmadi needs to go to improve squad strength. Fab will be back next week so unless you really feel Hazard will be better for the rest of the season I think Fab could stay this week. Can you do El Ahmadi to Boyd?
KP, I wouldn’t wildcard this close to January mate, seems a bit pointless, especially in a week where many will be taking hits anyway. Aguero should be sold for sure, maybe take this opportunity to sort out El Ahmedi and get Hazard if you want. But don’t forget Cesc, Austin and Chambers will all return the week after. So if you can muddle through this week, you’ll be well set up for the Christmas period.

Respect- I understand you don’t want Costa but I think the is the most sensible transfer to make this week, especially with Aguero out now, Costa is next in line as the top striker. If you really don’t want him then consider Rooney and probably Downing for Chadli. Leave Chambers as he will be back next week, that transfer can wait

Respect – I read a quote last night from Pellegrini to suggest that Silva won’t play on Wednesday. He’s been out too long to buy him in advance of a comeback, in my opinion.
What about Yaya & Lukaku?
could work Respect, but again wait until Wednesday to see how Yaya does as he took a knock vs Everton and looked in a lot of pain.
Lukaku will be great and frustrate you – but what a great captain this week, home to QPR on Monday night….brings back memories of their MNF match vs Newcastle last season where some of us captained him and he came up trumps with a brace!
Respect1987 – I would 100% bring in Costa. If you’re set on not buying him, then Rooney, van Persie, Benteke and maybe Lukaku, are good shouts. I’ve gone for van Persie myself, hoping he gets his act together.

Nin- tough call that. What was your transfer? If not this week then that transfer needs to be made next week for sure. A clean sheet would be needed just to break even
Cheers Migs. I sold Cesc&Aguero for Hazard&van Persie for a hit. Pant would have to get 4 points to break even as i’m guaranteed a 0 as it stands. He’s the only GK i can afford just now. Not sure what to do. Fabianski will be back next GW so i’m not sure what to do…
NIN, you have to think Panti will get you 2pts at least, so it’s only a 2pt hit as Init would say! For the upside he could bring, I’d do it mate.

Dunno really NIN, I’m a bit confused as to what to do. Doesn’t help being in limbo waiting for CL, as my Aguero sale, depends on what I do with Fabregas. I think this is my opportunity to get Alexis, but can only finance Cesc to Alexis with the Kun cash.
So I know i’ll have to watch a few price rises/falls, but better that than buy an injured Dzeko or whoever!
I really think Dzeko (or Jovetic) is the way forward….unless Wazza shows me something different tonight.
Yeah, if you’re going for a City striker to replace Aguero then waiting is the right move i think. Sanchez is supposedly being rested in UCL this week too so it’s a great GW to get him in i think. He needs a rest after playing so many games recently, for club and country.

Shane, the 3 you have listed with probably be the most popular, with maybe Carroll and Lukaku. Wait and see how Rooney plays tonight and then if Dzeko plays Wednesday and then make a call.
If you asked me to put my neck on the line now and assuming all are fit for the weekend, I think I’d go Dzeko, just looking at City’s next 5 fixtures. But everyone will have a different view.

Not yet Shane no. Wait for the pressers this week….in fact you’ll know more about Azpi nice and early from Mourinho pre-CL. If Azpi and Duff are ok, then you have no need to do anything. In fact you only need one of them fit as you can play Wisdom and Bertrand.
