Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 15 – Fantasy Premier League 2014/15

Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 10After a hectic mid-week schedule we are back to the normal weekend action for a few weeks before we hit the ridiculous Christmas pile-up. GW15 begins with a lunchtime game as Newcastle face the unenviable task of welcoming Chelsea before we have five 3pm kick-offs and Saturday is concluded with a cracker as Man City host bitter rivals Everton.

Saturday in full…

Newcastle v Chelsea 12.45pm
Hull v West Brom 3pm
Liverpool v Sunderland 3pm
QPR v Burnley 3pm
Spurs v Crystal Palace 3pm
Stoke v Arsenal 3pm
Man City v Everton 5.45pm

‘Super Sunday’ may be more like ‘Lacklustre Sunday’ as the games aren’t that inspiring but there will at least be interest in West Ham v Swansea…

West Ham v Swansea 1.30pm
Aston Villa v Leicester 4pm

Regardless of what Sunday brings or doesn’t the game-week concludes on Monday evening with a very tasty game…

Southampton v Man Utd 8pm

Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.

Good luck to absolutely everyone for GW15 from all at FF247!

To WC or not to WC?!

5 injuries, too much value in GKs who don’t keep cleanies, need City exposure, need to bulk midfield – Dyer and Diame need to go.

A lot to replace if I am to get back on track before Jan wildcard kicks in… Like keeping WC but with team like below and falling a lot in my leagues I don’t think I can afford to wait anymore..

    Suggestions please guys!!

Or would a -8pt hit be better? Would need to transfer both Dyer/Diame to make up difference to get YYT.
      Aguero > Bony
      Dyer > YYT
      Diame > Sammy Ameobi

      • Raziel says:

Personally I prefer Boyd over Emeobi, also keep in mind that Newcastle have at least 6 terribly hard fixtures in their next 8.

          Good shout. Will consider.
But on the bigger issue of WCing or not, what would you do in my shoes?!

I can improve and free up cash all over the team, easy 1m with the goalies etc… or is it a waste to do.. can fix with a -8 and -4 if needed? and wait until Jan WC?!

        • Raziel says:

I don’t think I would have activated my wilcard if that was my team. I have with my team. Unsure if this helps you. Reason. I think you can field 11 with just 1 or 2 hits. I had 6 non-playing players and 2 doubtful (Moore/Albrighton).

I haven’t WC’d just yet, weighing up whether I should or not.
Will likely save it – hopefully can use it during double GWs in the new year.

Would you say the transfer choices above would suit best.. I really want some City cover in, YYT only pick really.
          Bony for Aguero?
From top 5k last year I am languishing in my leagues, need points and quick before Jan wc comes in!

Was aiming for DGW myself but last season they really haven’t paid off, except from 1 with Suarez hat-trick I think. Anyway.

I don’t think I will get Yaya and I need City coverage. I’m eying David Silva. He might return and have an important role to play. Will have to see. I can wait, you obviously can’t?

Anyway, gtg. See ya later. Take care and good luck with your decision making.

WTF. I knew I posted it. Look what it says. Cookie is messing with me. :finger:

Ok, Kun replaced. At the moment just bringing in silly players that might go up twice this GW, such as Bony, Downing, Clichy.

Is Aguero confirmed out? Hes been flagged as 25%

    Gents,

It would appear Aguero is going down tonight – I need that 0.1 so I will have to do some of my moves tonight.

    This is my plan

    Aguero to dzeko/giroud/bony
    Wanyama to YYT

Who would you go for out of those possible replacements??

    ok, new thoughts smile
    Aguero –> Dzeko
    Austin –> Costa
    next week
Chadli –> £7.7 MID maybe Miralas
    Good, bad ?

    Evening lads.
Tough game week but somehow gone up a few hundred spots this week with 29 points :/.
Somehow had a strong eleven for next weekend until the Aguero news.

What are everyone’s thoughts regarding him? Would have kept him no question if it was just the weekend but AT LEAST a month-I don’t think so.

The options really are Rooney/Dzeko/Costa but not a fan of the yellow card expert and need City coverage. Could obviously invest in a cheap player like Bojan but would find it impossibly hard to bring him back in once fit.

    Anyway, this is the team…thoughts?
