Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 17 – Fantasy Premier League 2015/16
GW17 is live! No lunch time kick off this week. The actions gets going with six, three o’clock fixtures. CFC face Sunderland in a match up of two equals, the figuratively unstoppable Lukaku tangles with the literally unstoppable Mahrez and Vardy. We also see Europa powerhouse Man United take on relegation stalwart Norwich. Kane faces off versus Pelle in a battle of who is more inconsistent in front of goal, the Stokies get all technical when they take on Palace, as the two former Pulis led sides actually like going forward now, in particular since the Sith Lord of the parked bus departed. Speaking of the devil, Pulis looks to contain the vaunted Bournemouth side who have suddenly become a dangerous side. The last fixture of the day will test how much you really love FPL, because if you bother watching Newcastle vs Villa, you are sick!
Sunday sees two fixtures. Watford and their in form striker Ighalo, gets a chance at the striker friendly defending of Liverpool. We finish Sunday off, with one would expect to be a master class from Gomis and Carroll. Swansea vs West Ham definitely can’t be missed.
Monday finishes off the week with a title decider (in Arsenal’s dreams) between Arsenal and City. Arsenal will of course be looking to take out their frustrations on City after being told that they will be eliminated by Barca in the Champions League.

58 with the seems good. I have 50 with Ramsey, Silva and Aguero to come. Alli is my first sub so would actually be nice if Aguero isn’t ‘ready’ this week.

I’ve got KDB, Ozil and Aguero still to play, its unlikely that either of these won’t play :/
So Swansea initiated their run of 4 home games In 6 with a cleen sheet, Williams (4.8/6,5%) getting all bonus points. They are now looking at 3/5 and 5/9 home games so there’s your diferencial defender right there!

I think the only way to make up for the lost points would be to use Triple captain and bench boost very efficiently.
B, how are you mate? Interested to know your strategy for that. Play on DGW, which is when I expect most competitions to play them? Gamble on a players’ / teams’ form and fixtures? (Last week I was gun shy to play bench boost although my gut and players suggested it was a good option & lost out on 20+ points.)
Hey Anti! Im guessing your season is going better than others’ seasons as you are sticking to your strategy of not buying the expensive crappy non-performing players.
Yeah I guess DGW is the best time to play this chip, but I think Bench Boost would be class in a DGW as opposed to Triple cap.
It’s either that, or buy Williams!

When do intend to use your WC?
I was going to leave it until a DGW was confirmed but I have opponents in my main MLs are destroying me at the moment! One of them used his triple captain chip on Willian!!!
The only way I can see me beating them is getting on players such as Kun alexis silva!! But even then one of my opponents is continuously captaining ighalo!!!

I feel your pain Mitro, I’m 100 pts off the top of my main ML, a league i won easily last season.
Each week seems to be a new mistake, last week it was my captain, i changed my mind from Luka to KDB who only played the last 20 minutes.
This week i’ve left Deli Alli on the bench who’s got a nice 12 points wasting away on my bench.
I can’t seem to get it right each week.

As soon as WC is available. Ill set a team to play bench boost a GW after WCing, and will totally smash my rivals in their faces. Then ill play my TripCap nicely on a DGW and will further hurt the rivals by kicking them in their crotches.
Thats how The B wins ML this season, with struggles and surprises, with determination and a kickass attitude.

To me it depends when the first DGW is called. But usually it’s good to stock up the DGW in advance and then tidy up the team with a WC after. Also, it depends who is in the DGW for example if City and Arsenal are, you may want to keep the 3 from each team you’ll likely have.
In summary – only those limping towards it with a shoddy squad will probably use it straight away.
I’ll hold at least until a DGW is called (assuming we get one – we will but it depends who is in it!)
I like GP’s idea more.
1. Load up on players for DGW.
2. Have all DGW players, and TripCap one.
3. WC when DGW is over, tidy up the squad, and prepare for a bench boost in advance.
4. Bench boost.
5. Show middle finger to rivals while you cruise ahead of them.
6. Win the ML. B)
Mitro, i believe that the best time to play your WC is one week prior to a DGW and that too the one with at least 4 teams playing each other.. Play your bench boost in that dgw as each player would play twice.You may have a mix of players in the team too,who’d be likely to score irrespective of the dgw, like mahrez/ kun,etc to maintain the balance for the next weeks. Estimating that we might have 2 DGWs this season, triple captain could be played in the other one. We just need one more 5 goal haul from aguero(taking that he plays twice) in that week.hell, a hattrick would seize the deal. AOA doesn’t seem to be performing that well.leave it to your luck, i guess. Cheers
