GW17 is officially the last one before the bonkers Christmas schedule begins and kicks off with Man City hosting Crystal Palace in the lunchtime game and there are then six 3pm kick-offs…

  2. Evening all. How are we all doin’ so far? Must be some decent scores out there given that big Charlie topped the capo poll, just. Switched him to Yaya myself but not too bothered as it’s only an 8 point swing so kind of got away with it. 53 here with Boyd to come in and 4 left to play. Well ok 3 as one of them is Wilson vs Chelsea and that’s if he even starts.

    • Nice score init, I’m on 42 with a similar amount remaining, which ain’t bad considering that I didn’t have me a ‘big Charlie’ to captain at all aha!

      Costa, Sanchez and Hazard to come?

      • Yeah that’s the 3 plus little old Wilson. Guess most will have the same. Apart from Wilson! Just ran out of options and I don’t like a hit for a defender. Kind of hope he doesn’t start as that zero he’s got now might be better than what he ends up with if he does!

        • Haha! It’s ok.. everyone loves a cheap defender. I have three! :thumbup:

          I’ve got the same trio left, plus Steven Taylor, so that’ll be a nice -2 point haul from him assuming he even plays!

        • Dreamers – yeah, after today, think I have to – his next home fixture coincides with the end of Kane’s neat little run of games, so yeah, that makes the switch fairly easy. Will probably take out Rooney in the process.

        • this seems silly to say given his scoring, but you not worried about their away form?

        • I guess, but you could say similar for Hazard at the moment, and he’s still a must-have in my eyes.

        • Brilliant shout HL, happy days! Noticed one of my ML rivals did the same so I swore a few times when he scored! My plan was to switch him in for Yaya this week to fund another move so I’m doubly annoyed as everyone jumping on him means he’s going up tonight and my whole deal leaves only 0.1 to play with so I may have to move early which I don’t like doing. Well done though! 😉

      On 34 (30 after hits), 5 to play, Given the Bony gametime (have him) and Austin show (I dont) , I didnt think it was too bad until I see I’m dropping again

      • Hey Dreamers, yeah Bony will have hurt a lot of people this week, the site team included. Although they did ok regardless. Odd omission but I guess he’ll be playing the rest of the Christmas period now so not all lost.

  3. Evening everyone…… I am thinking of getting rid of siggy and costa to replace them with silva and bony or silva and giroud. Costa on 7 yellows and is becoming a bit of a liability…. just waiting for a red card to go with all the yellows. Would these changes be sound moves?

    • Wait and see til Monday. He might just change your mind…

      They do kinda make sense though. Especially if you’re looking for differentials.

      • January wildcard? So that really doesn’t matter? Though, in all honesty. I’m shipping out the likes of Yaya/Sakho. Waiting with Bony. Though, Garry Monk annoyed the shit out of me tonight. Made no sense. Playing the weakest striker in the league over the strongest. MAKES NO SENSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

        • i guess in one sense the end justifies the means. He rested players, they won.

    • me too mate, siggy probably out next week if he stay injured. but costa, if i have 2 fts i’ll replace him with bony, and use the cash to upgrade siggy or hererra (yeah i know, why i pick him at the first place?) to di maria or yaya. but as i only have 1 ft, and costa is at least playing. i won’t take a hit to replace him.

      pressing issue on the other place, i’ll have to replace siggy / hererra first.

  5. Very tempted to do the Sakho to Austin transfer tonight. But I know I can’t or shouldn’t. You guys reckon that ummm Siggy will start next week? Wasn’t a serious injury right?

        • You’re not missing much. Great source of info but generally you say something and you get 20 idiots respond with some ill informed abuse! To be fair we are quite lucky in that respect and don’t receive much if any but some do.
