I’ve just realized that the FPL Cup starts next GW. That time of year where FPL managers pull their hair out because some twat who isn’t even playing the game, hammers your team. Great. laugh

    Hi folks;

Please can you help me with my transfer(s) for Boxing day?

    Here’s my squad:
    Adrian (Mannone)
    Clyne; Jagielka; Clichy (Taylor; Hutton)
    Sanchez; Downing :Siggy; Hazard (Jedinak)
    Costa; RvP; Austin
    FT: 1 Bank: £0.2m

    I’m looking at 2 options:
    a) I think I want rid of Jagielka -who would be a good replacement for him with a budget of £5.8m?
    or
    b) I thought about replacing Siggy with Eriksen and therefore replacing Jagielka with a £4m rated defender (for a 4pt hit). Who could that be?; and am I stretching myself too thinly in defence in terms of quality if I do that?

Thanks for your help as always

    NIN,

Is it time to let Baines go? Everton’s defence has really disappointed. And, if moving down, but not Citeh, where does one go? Back to Clyne?

      Silverback says:

Hi KI I would say you need to offload either Baines or Colman & get a City or Che def

      NIN says:

KI – Yeah, i think it’s time. Southampton’s fixtures are still pretty rough so i wouldn’t go there. Baines’ replacement will depend on budget really. Chelsea defenders are the obvious route i think, unless you need to raise funds for other moves.

If I had Baines I’d get rid of him on current form. Without City, its tough to find a consistent performer, maybe go down the rotation route of cheaper defenders and use the Baines money to bolster your attack.

Hey guys, I’m on 49 points with hazard, Cahill and my captain Costa to play, so I’m hoping these guys preform.

Does anyone know why bony and siggy didn’t play?

I’m thinking of getting rid of siggy, but not entirely sure who for, any suggestions?

    Raziel says:

Not transferring out Baines just yet, have other headaches. Plus, you’ll see, the moment you transfer him out he’ll go on a rampage again like he did earlier this season. It’s not for nothing he is still amongst the best 3 defenders. I think Martinez well be annoyed as …. as will the Everton defenders and they’ll put an extra lock on the defense the next couple of games. It’s kind of freaky that Baines had 5 quiet games and still he’s amongst the best 3 defenders. 😉
