GW18 is live! We hope you were happy with your Christmas presents and that the turkey and trimmings went down well but that’s all over now and so back to the serious business of fantasy football! Hopefully your transfers, line-ups and your all important captain selection are all sorted and you didn’t over indulge in the festive period and do anything daft like take a huge hit or indeed just forget altogether! Live Match Chat is your chance to have your say on the line-ups as they are announced, the games as they happen and the fallout afterwards. Boxing Day is indeed a bumper day with all 20 teams playing so no sooner has it begun than it will end and is unique in the season in that respect. We think. Couldn’t be bothered to check! We begin with an early game as Chelsea welcome West Ham. There are then a hectic eight games at 3pm before Arsenal and QPR see us out in the early evening.

Decent week but got moves I want to make.
Got Baines who looks like he needs to go but also want Silva. Would need to sell Eriksen for that.
Think I’m trying to say which is more of a priority, getting rid of Baines or bringing Silva in?!
Probably both Shadow! Sure you could combine the two somehow with a downgrade and an upgrade?
Seems weird wanting feedback on next GW’s team but need to get it sorted quick in case a player suggested has a price change.
Looking at the team I thinking a defender needs to go to:
A-tricky to field three with good fixtures
B-two away games in a row and my playing defenders have two away games (or very difficult games i.e. Clyne)

would getting rid of yaya for Silva a good move because of form
Tricky one…Both scoring but Silva does seem to be profiting from playing without a named striker.
Personally have both aha. Difficult to say without seeing your team but certainly wouldn’t do it if there are other priorities-a little bit sideways given both are getting on the score sheet.

Can you field three strong defenders this GW? If you can, I can’t see a problem with the transfer….if not I would adjust there first.
Did silva just come off at 62mins because of standard rotation or was an injury involved? Looking to bring him in.
didn’t watch but given the schedule – and no twitter news of it – I’m guessing rotation to save him for the next few.
Thanks AT. Text commentary shows ‘delay due to injury to Silva’ at 46mins and then he was subbed at 62mins. I suspect it was something & nothing but I am aware Silva has glass ankles so a bit wary
. I can’t see any news of it anywhere so think it should be ok, I will hold fire though for 24hours though unless a price rise
