Get rid of Baines with his price dropping tonight (won’t lose money on him as I can still sell at 7,1m) or downgrade Chambers to the likes of Hutton?
Thoughts? No need to rush it but wanting opinions.

      downgrade baines upgrade bony.
you really need to put some money in your front 3 or 2 in this case.

      • AT says:

Hi Jasprit..really not worried about my front 3. They keep providing so I’m not complaining. not bringing in Costa; Rooney too deep etc.
Baines needs to go but given his fixture and the quality of my other defenders’ fixtures, don’t you think my transfer would be better used on a different defender?

        • jasprit says:

costa and hutton will give you much better results than baines and bony at the same price.
if not costs, than falcao (will soon burst out with plenty of points)

but bony and baines need to go imo
you already have soggy and bony is truly overkill. he will soon leave for afcon too

the problem with baines is that Everton I’m general is playing crap.
he might have great potential and fixtures but his team mates will bring him down.
go for a team with form and quality ie Chelsea (costa) or united (falcao/rooney)

        • AT says:

Not sure about that. You say the pair will produce much better results yet my pairing is outscoring the one you mentioned? Liverpool the QPR should see goals for Swansea and I need to bring in defenders who can see a clean sheet this week.

        • jasprit says:

don’t get stuck on to getting cs this week.
          think a little long term.

at the end it’s your choice though. I wouldn’t keep baines in my team for another second considering he hasn’t done shit ???? in over a month after using up so much of my budget.

        • AT says:

Agreed Jas, I’m also thinking about Swansea being away for the next two. Good call and thanks for your insight laugh

      Burnsy says:

Baines should be priority no point having high price assets if they aren’t doing the business.

      • AT says:

Hi burnsy, same as above…given his fixture don’t you think I should alter others first?

        • Burnsy says:

Well, no, Everton haven’t kept a clean sheet in 8 gameweeks and Baines hasn’t been creating anything offensively. Sure you can sit on him and hope it changes but I he hasn’t done it for weeks now. They lost at home to Stoke today which shows how Everton are doing at the moment. I’d personally get some money in areas where players are performing, your attacks a bit weak.

        • AT says:

Good point Burnsy, will review this tomorrow. Thanks to both of you!

This is my current team. Main issues at the moment- baines, Clyne, no city or United coverage. Any ideas? Baines to Kompany and Bony to Rooney would leave me – .2, so I would have to downgrade Clyne aswell for a hit to make it possible. I also feel like silva is a must *sigh* . Any thoughts?

      jasprit says:

downgrade baines and get in Silva in place of chadli.
if you want to get in Rooney, you will need to get in a cheap defender in the likes of wisdom maybe.
or else stick with bony and get mangala

Cheers mates, need some help here.

GW19 seems very difficult to me. Trying to get rid of Davis and Jagielka for a City defender but don’t know who is a good option. Maybe Clichy (5.6) but not sure that he’s going to play against Burnley.

    So maybe I can do
Jagielka out – Clichy in 1FT and play with:

    Hart
    Clichy – Wisdom – Mertesacker
    Hazard – Sanchez – Yaya – Sigurdsson
    Costa – Kane – Austin

Seems like a really tough week to me
