Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 19 – Fantasy Premier League 2014/15

Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 19GW19 is live! We hope you are happy with your transfers, your line-up and your all important captain selection as there’s little else you can do now other than sit back and watch the action unfold. Live Match Chat is your chance to have your say on the line-ups as they are announced, the games as they happen and the fallout afterwards! Unfortunately there are no Saturday games this week so GW19 kicks off with a lunch time match-up between Spurs and Manchester United. The good news with that one is that you will be able to see the line-ups prior to the deadline due to the early 12pm kick off. That is followed by 8 more games on this glorious Sunday. All teams play on 2 days rest except for Liverpool & Swansea who are apparently special this GW. However it must be mentioned that the luck runs out three days later as they pay the price on New Year’s day, while everyone has been resting for an extra day. Can’t wait for the great display of talent that day, tired and hung-over makes for some interesting footy.

Sunday in full…

Spurs v Man Utd 12pm
Southampton v Chelsea 2:05pm
Hull City v Leicester 3pm
Aston Villa v Sunderland 3pm
QPR v Crystal Palace 3pm
Man City v Burnley 3pm
Stoke v West Brom 3pm
West Ham v Arsenal 3pm
Newcastle v Everton 4:15pm

GW19 then concludes on Monday evening…

Liverpool v Swansea 8pm

Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.

Good luck to absolutely everyone for GW19 from all at FF247!

Seeing as how the January WC is now the talk of the town, i thought i would post my latest (90% final) draft. 12 changes in total, from my current squad. I think it’s set up nicely, strong all round with 1.5m left over, for the return on the King. Thoughts? Ta

Seems a bit different than most of the teams, but is definitely attractive. I do think that the defense is a bit expensive, and lack of City cover until Aguero returns might do some damage.

      Andy says:

It’s been a while since I tried this but what about Sterling over either Cazorla or Eriksen for that extra .1. Im sure Sterlings being used more as a forward now with Sturridges injury and Balotelli being Balotelli. Liverpools next 3 after a early WC look decent and probably more favorable on paper than Arsenals.

      • NIN says:

Andy – He’s not one i will be buying yet. I’m not sure he’s cut out for the forward role so i think i’ll wait until he has a proper striker to feed off. Then he becomes a great pick again, i think. Skrtel slightly appeals, what with his goal threat, but i cant justify dropping Azpi for him.

I think tonight might change your mind on that NIN but I’ve got Sterling as my cappo for this GW so I’m going to be a little biased on that one.

Having a look at the Burnley defenders and you’ve picked out the most expensive one of the bunch in Trippier at 4.8. Can’t imagine him making your line up on a regular basis so maybe you could save funds in the piggy bank by taking a cheaper option, Duff was an ever present in the line up until his calf injury and he looks likely to return and he’s at 4.0, any other Burnley defender would save the .3 at least over Trippier who has only 1 assist on the season so far so I wouldn’t expect much extra productivity for the extra cash spent on him.

        • NIN says:

We shall see. Hopefully he does the business for you tonight anyway. A big score from him would really catapult anyone who cappo’d him up the rankings as i would imagine he’s quite a differential pick.
Re Trippier, yeah he is quite expensive for a Burnley defender but i think i’ll roll with him anyway. I think the squad is flexible -personnel & fixture wise- enough that i can field him for most of their good games. It’s punty, no doubt. It’s a big call to play this WC early so i want to be strong everywhere

Hi NIN, apologies my friend, about 5 hours later than promised but better late than ever I guess! I get the logic behind it all and I’ve no issue with any of it really. Obviously ADM is fitness dependent and Utd have the fixtures to justify him but personally I’d have Silva or Sanchez and have Rooney as Utd cover but get that would mean some major recon. Having said that I’d probably pencil in both Silva and Sanchez ahead of anyone else and work the rest around having those 2. Aguero back would change the Silva priority I guess. Rest of it is cool and will likely change by then anyway as some of the picks are a bit mini-trendy plus we have a few games before it becomes active.
