Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 19 – Fantasy Premier League 2014/15

Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 19GW19 is live! We hope you are happy with your transfers, your line-up and your all important captain selection as there’s little else you can do now other than sit back and watch the action unfold. Live Match Chat is your chance to have your say on the line-ups as they are announced, the games as they happen and the fallout afterwards! Unfortunately there are no Saturday games this week so GW19 kicks off with a lunch time match-up between Spurs and Manchester United. The good news with that one is that you will be able to see the line-ups prior to the deadline due to the early 12pm kick off. That is followed by 8 more games on this glorious Sunday. All teams play on 2 days rest except for Liverpool & Swansea who are apparently special this GW. However it must be mentioned that the luck runs out three days later as they pay the price on New Year’s day, while everyone has been resting for an extra day. Can’t wait for the great display of talent that day, tired and hung-over makes for some interesting footy.

Sunday in full…

Spurs v Man Utd 12pm
Southampton v Chelsea 2:05pm
Hull City v Leicester 3pm
Aston Villa v Sunderland 3pm
QPR v Crystal Palace 3pm
Man City v Burnley 3pm
Stoke v West Brom 3pm
West Ham v Arsenal 3pm
Newcastle v Everton 4:15pm

GW19 then concludes on Monday evening…

Liverpool v Swansea 8pm

Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.

Good luck to absolutely everyone for GW19 from all at FF247!

Just wondering, with people looking at Cazorla as a differential to Sanchez, how do you think Wenger will set his team up when Giroud, Walcott, Ramsey and Ozil (all very soon) are all back?

Hi NIN, I’d never say never and given as I haven’t even looked yet I actually couldn’t say either way! Guess that’ll be tonight’s job. I figured I’d get GW20 out of the way and see how the land lies after that as there is a bit of a break after that and lots of cup games in between 20 and 21. If memory serves me though last years was a bit of a disaster so I may just wait!

Let me take a look at yours above and I’ll reply shortly.

    Afternoon all!!

Just got back from the gym. Feeling fresh smile

As the jan WC is nearly upon us. What are the most important players to have, be it current and players coming back from injury.

Afternoon Mitro. I’m just about to have my dinner so a quick reply before i step away from ze PC. Southampton cover is a must for an early WC, in my opinion. Great fixtures ahead and i think JWP is a tasty pick what with his devastating set pieces, which should bring bucket loads of points for Pelle, in theory. The return of Kun is definitely one to keep in mind so either go with two premium strikers, or leave a chunk aside for an upgrade for when he gets back (and don’t spend it elsewhere!). I plan to get him as soon as he starts one, just one game. Other than that it’s a matter of going through the fixtures and also Mito’s fixture rotation article thingy (i bloody love that thing. Such a big help). My WC squad is posted above if want to have a look. It’s not 100% definite yet but it’s close. Chat soon mate

Think I have two really good options. Option 1 is the better option but it doesn’t make allowance for kun – opt 2 does.

      Which is the better option?

Big news, folks smile something has to give tonight.

Afaik the record score from a player in a single game is from Ted Drake who got 33 by scoring 7 goals in a match (28), plus 2 for playing and I guess 3 bps. I assume he played at least 60 min. and didn’t get booked or miss a penalty (hello-oooo Alexis Sanchez) or get any assists or score an o.g.

Well, thing is, since I began my trip to India I’ve scored 90+ points every GW. So far this GW I’ve only managed 36, placing me in exactly 2000th place now (up from 64498 when I arrived here) leaving Bony needing 54 to keep up the sequence. Assuming he gets no bookings or own goals, he needs to score 13+ goals tonight or some such high-scoring combo involving assists. Preferably no missed pens either, and if possible I’d prefer it if Siggy gets no assists or goals either. It’s a tough ask I know, but against this Liverpool defence I’d say not entirely impossible except maybe for the Siggy bit.

And I don’t mind if, despite the Bony points, Liverpool win. So long as Sterling doesn’t score 😉

Enjoy the match, y’all. Goodnight from me in balmy Kerala, the match is too late for me to watch here so I look fwd to reading the report in the morning smile

    The B says:

Is anyone considering to bring in Trippier? The fixtures are good, but not sure if I trust Burnley’s cleanie potential or Trippy’s attacking potential (1 assist so far).

He has 5 decent fixtures coming up too, and most of us have Yun as well, who is broke. Considering playing Burnley defender at least in the three upcoming home games, so:

Is it worth it to pay 4.8M for a Burnley defender? Caulker is an alternative too.
