Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 19 – Fantasy Premier League 2014/15
GW19 is live! We hope you are happy with your transfers, your line-up and your all important captain selection as there’s little else you can do now other than sit back and watch the action unfold. Live Match Chat is your chance to have your say on the line-ups as they are announced, the games as they happen and the fallout afterwards! Unfortunately there are no Saturday games this week so GW19 kicks off with a lunch time match-up between Spurs and Manchester United. The good news with that one is that you will be able to see the line-ups prior to the deadline due to the early 12pm kick off. That is followed by 8 more games on this glorious Sunday. All teams play on 2 days rest except for Liverpool & Swansea who are apparently special this GW. However it must be mentioned that the luck runs out three days later as they pay the price on New Year’s day, while everyone has been resting for an extra day. Can’t wait for the great display of talent that day, tired and hung-over makes for some interesting footy.
Sunday in full…
Spurs v Man Utd 12pm
Southampton v Chelsea 2:05pm
Hull City v Leicester 3pm
Aston Villa v Sunderland 3pm
QPR v Crystal Palace 3pm
Man City v Burnley 3pm
Stoke v West Brom 3pm
West Ham v Arsenal 3pm
Newcastle v Everton 4:15pm
GW19 then concludes on Monday evening…
Liverpool v Swansea 8pm
Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.
Good luck to absolutely everyone for GW19 from all at FF247!

Good to go?
I’d be tempted to switch Eriksen with Taylor on your bench, don’t fancy the spuds against Chelsea at all tomorrow in case the worst should happen and one of your starting eleven doesn’t play.
*switch Chester and Taylor.
I am more sure that Hull has more chances of keeping CS than Swans against Austin at home, no? Or I could take -4 and bring Downind instead of Eriksen?
Spurs always gets destroyed by Chelsea and Austin at home will score I think, Everton looks bad so I will try leave Chester there just in case. Probably City will switch around defence again, so if something Eriksen will come in as sub.
Really bad GW 40 points red arrows everywhere need to pick the right Cap for tm or could be a disaster still in top 7k but could have been better my plan is GW 21,Baines > Azp then GW 22 Silva > Eriksen or Sterling & Ronney > Kun cash permitting good moves or not cheers
Who fancies rating my potential wildcard team. Or at least the best I have come up with thus far?
Heaton, Panti
Terry, Phil Jones, Hutton, Wisdom, Ben Davies
Silva, Hazard, Fabregas, Downing, Alexis
Rooney, Austin, Kane.
Looks good to me…pretty much the same as im thinking.
Maybe costa instead of Rooney
Not for me, need some United in there, in my opinion
Cookie: ahh, g’won then, challenge accepted.
Keepers will rack up save points. Cheap too. Sorted.
Defence looks sound, but is Ben Davies necessary to your plans? I’d grab Wasilewski on the cheap if not. Phil Jones could cause you headaches and heartaches through FPL*and* as a supporter now… 😉 but the fixtures are good. I like it.
Forward and midfleld line is pretty spot on. Siggy’s form makes me think he’d be better than Downing though. Or does Downing rotate particuarly nicely with Austin / Kane? Can’t say I’m a fan of rotating attacking players, but Kane is fairly cheap, so it doesn’t hurt too much in this case.
The big question: where will Aguero fit into things? Rooney —–> Aguero will require cash. Maybe ditch Austin / Downing to a cheapo? It depends on your plans for him I guess.
8/10
Ha James!!
There is sort of a plan for Kun, but tough to plan a month in advance….
Can be easily done by changing Alexis to Theo and Downing to a Boyd – will also prob look to lose Silva when Kun is around…..so yeah it’ll take 3/4 transfers, but I’m cool with that and if Kun is firing am always happy to take a hit to get him.
There is 1mln in the bank too.
The keepers actually rotate with fixtures very nicely, otherwise I wouldn’t go near a Burnley keeper!
Phil Jones…great fixtures, United tightened up…good till he gets crocked.
All sounds good to me. In fact, starting to make me envious, it looks fun to have a shake up and a fresh start! Of course, it’s not all good news, as going early means it’ll be harder for you to react to any key new signings. But you can only do what’s best, right now, for your team.
You rolling with this for GW21 then I take it?
I think so, certainly the nucleus of, unless there are injuries or some decent suggestions for something different…..
James I was gonna ask about his Aguero contingency plan?!? Cookie ATM aguero is 1.7 million more expensive so quite a downgrade somewhere!Who will get the cut?
As above Peaky – Silva will go, Downing also….plus there’s 1mln in the bank. ALexis can always go to Theo…or Santi if needed.
Lol cookie I was a bit over keen!! Good moves !Have u thought about rotating keepers?? With Krull nearing fitness and 100% home/away rotation with Panty do u think that could be an option?? Particularly if Pulis turns up on the door!!
It’s an option Peaky, though Panti and Heaton rotate really well.
Hey Cookie, not a bad 1st draft at all. I’ve got the same exact midfield in my WC team, and think Downing may be a better value than Siggy considering his price, home fixtures, and the quality of forwards he has in his team to hopefully give him assist points. What’s your plan to get Aguero in once he’s fit? Does that team leave you any money in the bank?
Hey Red, there’s a million in the account – Silva and Downing can easily be downgraded to get Kun….and if I need more Jones can also be cheapened, but think Silva and Downing should be enough. Hopefully.
I like it Cookie. BTW, the Cup matches are played between GW 20 and 21, correct? So if we WC early we should know about any Cup related injuries before the start of GW 21 and will be able to reshuffle our WC, right?
Correct Red, yeah
Ranked 4775…
Great way to end the year…
im coming for you FF247 😉
Great stuff Peter, well done. Feels good doesn’t it!
Amazing innit
Hey guys, looking to WC early possibly to shake things up and start 2015 with some positive momentum. Any thoughts on this 1st draft would be hugely appreciated!
Hamer deGea
Terry Wisdom Hutton Duff O’Shea
Fabregas Silva Hazard Sanchez Downing
Austin RVP Kane
1.5 left over in the bank.
Basically I’d have to sit one of Downing, Austin, and Kane each week depending on fixtures. And RVP just keeps Aguero’s spot warm until he returns. Fabregas or Silva could change to ADM at any time. How can I improve this lot?
Red – I like this – especially with RvP: a neat differential, with good fixtures, as well as being a placeholder for Sergioooo.
Duff is a smart buy: I’m hoping he’ll be fit for New Year’s so I can get him too. Chelsea and United defence plus 4 cheapos = solid defence. I really like it.
Do you currently own Downing at present?
Hey james, thank you. Yes, I bought Downing at 5.8 so I have some good value built up in him. That, plus his better home fixtures and better forwards to finish assists is making me think he’d be a slightly stronger 5th midfielder choice than Siggy. Do you think the altered WC team below is stronger or weaker than this team?
Fair do’s. Well it certainly helps the defence! It depends if you think Man United or City defensive coverage is more important… United have better fixtures, but with Komps back, City will probably be more watertight.
If I “borrow” Cookie’s WC goalkeeper idea I can get Kompany in for O’Shea. Does this look better than the original crew of misfits?
Heaton Pants
Terry Wisdom Hutton Kompany Wasilewski
Fabregas Silva Hazard Sanchez Downing
Austin RVP Kane
.2 left over ITB. This wouldn’t allow me to sell Silva for ADM directly though, so Fabregas would have to go possibly if ADM becomes necessary, or I’d have to downgrade someplace.
Red, with United’s fixtures, would you really want to lose RvP?
I’d only lose RVP for Aguero Cookie, and then I’d bring in ADM for United cover for either Silva or Fabregas.
be nice to have both though, which is why I went Rooney…
Getting RVP as Aguero’s place holder seems like a decent plan. My team should be quite similar to that.
