Like the look off City tonight Silva had a good game & they look solid
Silva always looks good and last season I think he was their best even. However, other mids score more… >.< Annoying.
All in all its been a good gameweek for sticking to your guns…sticking to Mata/Jove and not jumping on the Sterling/Chester bandwagons for hits has prevailed…only that bastard Dier ruined it!
One question I now have is:
Rooney, Aguero, Costa, Sturridge – how many of them will be essential looking forwards?
Currently I am wanting Aguero to accompany Costa in my squad, but Costa has not looked impressive at all in his 2 fixtures and i’m wondering if just the 1 big hitter up front might work?
Thoughts?
think you’ll want 2 big boys up front in a 3-5-2 – the key will be picking the right ones. Hard enough with the four you listed, but now we have to consider the likes of Stupor Mario and Eto’o’o’o.
Tekno & lawdogg,
I agree that Aguero is a definite this year if he stays fit. My only problem with Costa is that he has only had 2 shots in 2 games (albeit he scored both goals). The option would be to drop one of them down to Lukaku and give me more to spread out elsewhere…a plan that could really backfire though.
Thanks for the responses guys.
i’m a huge fan of Lukaku – if he’d been healthy at the start of the season he would’ve featured in a 3-4-3 for me. Had him in my side last season for most of the year and he rarely disappointed.
Lawdogg, I thought Lukaku’s form tailed off a bit towards the end of the season and he had a disappointing World Cup. Understandable for such a young player and I think it was good he signed for Everton, I just hope he can recapture his best form.
Won’t be surprised if Aguero and Costa are this season’s top scorers with 25+ goals each.
Agree with Tekno. Seems to me like Costa is a bit like Ramsey – always seems to be at the right place at the right time. Aguero showed again that he doesn’t have to play a full game to score – imagine what he could do if he could just stay healthy!
Like with Mozart – imagine if he’d lived a full lifetime…

Costa Rooney (C) Weimann
Your goalkeepers…
It seems Jovetic will be staying in my team for a while still..
Is Pieters worth transferring out for a hit since they have City next?
If you can guarantee his replacement will get 4 more points than him. 😉
bihom17 that would mean I just need to guarantee a cleansheet!
Depends. Who would you bring in for him? City usually struggles against Stoke. Last season’s matches ended 1-0 and 0-0.
Tekno
I was looking at a Southampton or Swansea defender!
Maybe. Reckon Swansea have the highest chance of a CS.
Ripely
Nope Silvers.
