Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 2 – Fantasy Premier League 2015/16
GW2 is live! This time we are treated to a rarity, a Friday night game. As the Villans welcome in the vaunted Man United attack. However the Red Devils will be missing a key player and we will see what LVG does to offset not having Kyle Walker on the pitch.
If a Friday game wasn’t enough, we are handed a lunch time game between Saints and Everton to kick off our Saturday. Hopefully both teams once again entertain us with goals and bad defending. And please bring on Naismith earlier, the non-Everton fans demand it. Our opening fixture is followed by five 3pm games. The Stokies visit Spurs, a meeting of two sides that will feel hard done to have come away with no points in GW1. In other action Sunderland welcome in Norwich, a match that has everyone very (yawn) excited. Newcastle go to Wales for a match-up with a Swans team that took the game to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. We also see Watford watch the Baggies ride their broken down bus in, after suffering a proper beat down at the hands of the Citizens. The Hammers open their doors to a Leicester team that look really menacing on the attack and in the casino. James Vardy and best mate Okazaki will look to continue to strike fear into defences.
On Sunday we have two fixtures. Pardew will look to continue the good times rolling vs an Arsenal side that is 3 points behind their pace from last season. Strange that, considering they have Petr Cech and he should be worth 12-15 points, maybe it was less, not more? Moving on to the game of the week, well on paper at least. As the most impressive side of GW1, Man City, look for a statement of intent win when they face Jose and a Chelsea side that showed some vulnerabilities on defence.
Monday night sees the game-week come to a conclusion. As Bournemouth makes a trip to Merseyside. Will the Belgian beast get any service? Maybe, if he can convince Ritchie to switch sides before the game.
Don’t forget to also share any experiences if you are participating in any or several of the fanteam.com leagues. Remember scores update in real time, so don’t be shy and let us know how much you are in line to win.

Reminder of line-ups:
Guzan; Bacuna, Clark, Richards, Amavi; Gueye, Veretout, Westwood; Sinclair, Ayew, Agbonlahor
Romero; Darmian, Smalling, Blind, Shaw; Carrick, Schneiderlin; Mata, Depay, Januzaj; Rooney.
Sinclair up top? Hopefully till Gestede comes on at least!
Yup
I doubt he’ll be the central striker, that’ll be Agbonlahor, I guess it’ll be the same as at Bournemouth where he’s on the left, you could call it a 4-3-3 but in truth I think it’ll be more like a 4-5-1 tonight.
Januzaj is playing number 10.
That’s interesting, by the sounds of it there’ll be a lot more Friday night EPL games this season, at least 10 more are in the pipe line, might as well get used to the lloooonnnngggg GW’s.
Hi Andy,
This is a one off due to a prostest of some kind tomorrow.
But next season Friday night prem is a go every week. Great for the TV fans, but not so smart if you have a season ticket or are an away regular
Personally I’m looking forward to it as each team will only have maybe 2 home fridays and its all extra footy
I do however totally get the travel and friday night drink issues that this will entail
Sky commentator just announced it mate, it’s not confirmed when and what games yet though.
Cant believe Courtois and Ritchie are both being shown as falling on FFFIx.
Anyone knows when exactly the price drop occurs?
I think it’s in the small hours of the morning possibly 2 am GMT.
I’d guess Januzaj won’t be dropping as currently predicted
Jan goal, mata assist.
Classic Mata
Westwood could be a good 5th mid. He just took a corner
Have him as my 5th midfielder, will come in handy for the upcoming 4 fixtures of AV.
. Ime gutted here right now. I activated my Triple Captain yesterday to show a friend how it worked and forgot to de-avtivate it. Now i have Rooney as triple captain .
Pull the other one 😉
1. You captained Rooney, so you probably deserve it.
2. Still 45 minutes to go, and Rooney looks rubbish, but still, there are chances that he gets a set of fluke assists. Fingers crossed. B)
3. Was that friend Raz.?
“Honest, doctor, I have no idea how that got in there!!!”
Ant, an I correct in thinking that’s two chips gone now?! Hope your high up the leagues pal!
