Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 2 – Fantasy Premier League 2015/16
GW2 is live! This time we are treated to a rarity, a Friday night game. As the Villans welcome in the vaunted Man United attack. However the Red Devils will be missing a key player and we will see what LVG does to offset not having Kyle Walker on the pitch.
If a Friday game wasn’t enough, we are handed a lunch time game between Saints and Everton to kick off our Saturday. Hopefully both teams once again entertain us with goals and bad defending. And please bring on Naismith earlier, the non-Everton fans demand it. Our opening fixture is followed by five 3pm games. The Stokies visit Spurs, a meeting of two sides that will feel hard done to have come away with no points in GW1. In other action Sunderland welcome in Norwich, a match that has everyone very (yawn) excited. Newcastle go to Wales for a match-up with a Swans team that took the game to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. We also see Watford watch the Baggies ride their broken down bus in, after suffering a proper beat down at the hands of the Citizens. The Hammers open their doors to a Leicester team that look really menacing on the attack and in the casino. James Vardy and best mate Okazaki will look to continue to strike fear into defences.
On Sunday we have two fixtures. Pardew will look to continue the good times rolling vs an Arsenal side that is 3 points behind their pace from last season. Strange that, considering they have Petr Cech and he should be worth 12-15 points, maybe it was less, not more? Moving on to the game of the week, well on paper at least. As the most impressive side of GW1, Man City, look for a statement of intent win when they face Jose and a Chelsea side that showed some vulnerabilities on defence.
Monday night sees the game-week come to a conclusion. As Bournemouth makes a trip to Merseyside. Will the Belgian beast get any service? Maybe, if he can convince Ritchie to switch sides before the game.
Don’t forget to also share any experiences if you are participating in any or several of the fanteam.com leagues. Remember scores update in real time, so don’t be shy and let us know how much you are in line to win.

Arsenal: Cech, Bellerin, Koscielny, Mertesacker, Monreal, Coquelin, Cazorla, Ramsey, Ozil, Alexis, Giroud.
Palace: McCarthy; Ward, Dann Delaney, Souare; Zaha, McArthur, Cabaye, Puncheon, Bolasie; Wickham.
Thanks TJ! Captain-Alexis starts!!!
Walcott on the fucking bench again. Awesome. Can it go any worse?
Giroud must be sucking Wengers cock after every match he starts, or something.
Mhm.. What a :whatever:
I’d play Walcott over Giroud any day of the week.
I seriously hate Wenger.
Oh… That’s sexy.
Idiot……………………………………………………
Zlatan knew before we did. 😉
Haha, I remember that.
Was happy to see him at Ajax. We don’t have the same finances as they do in England. Even Arsenal spends 20 times the amount Ajax does, but still it does give us more youth players and home grown. I mean what does Arsenal have right? One Welsh player, a Czech (Cech :p), a Chill, multiple Germans, +5 Frenchies and Cockblock. Just crazy shit.
Well, how’s this Raz: we’re less than 2 weeks into the season and I’m trailing my ML leader, who captained Lukaku this week and still has Dzeko in his squad, by 64 points!
Seriously done with this season and it’s only two weeks old. Fuck off Wenger.
Feel you Raz…
Done with Wally, he was my cappo last week, ditch him for Payet just after GW1 finished.
We all know he can score a hatty in less that 20min, but then Wenger always prefer to play Giroud.
:sad-face:
On a scale of 1-10, how badly do i need to wildcard?
I’d say 20. About as much as me.
I’d say about 7 if you only have 1FT.
And a 2 if you have 2FT’s. Transfer Wally out for a form player and you’ll have one less problem.
+1
Walcott to Ayew and Sterling to Sanchez? I have two free transfers, but will probably end up taking a hit, my players just don’t like being in my squad :cuss:
I like the Walcott to Ayew move. Wait and see how Sterling and Sanchez does today.
+1
Yeah, Sanchez is that type of player that will always do well, only problem is i have to fit Aguero in my plans somewhere, Imma just blame Wenger for all my troubles
It’s the same as mine mate. Just bad luck.
You’ll be fine.
Keep the faith. Fuck Wenger for not starting Wally though. I’m pretty certain Giroud will score in the first half now. Sighs. Hope Wally can do something serious in +10 minutes.
*cries*
FFS, I HATE WENGER!
Are you thinking about wildcarding? I had planned for taking in Aguero this week, but now i got make other moves. Before gw1 i thought my team looked so damn good, now it sucks, haha
Team looks good. Even now. SHrugs. I might just play ROoney versus Newcastle and replace both Wally and Coates. WIll do the Kun move the week after. Hoping Everton can stand ground versus City.
Okay that’s it Walcott is gone this week!! Only question do I bring in Ayew, Shaqiri or Mahrez??
Ayew, Swansea have Sunderland next week, they should win about 5 nil
Ayew for me. Shaqiri needs to prove himself and Mahrez will fall off form soon.
Why would Mahrez fall form soon? He’s been playing so well, without his goals. Leicester have gotten a total of 28 out of 33 points from their last 11 EPL games. He’s also only 5.6M. If you want swansea cover, I’d get Gomis as he’s on pens atleast.
Tique I’d like Gomis in my team but he’s 7 m and I already plan on getting Kun so it’s a bit more difficult to bring Gomis in.
That’s what I was thinking cheers Ruben and Duthers. Just so annoyed at Wenger don’t see why Wally isn’t starting.
Hmmm, if i do Ayew I can’t get Kun the week after. Is Montero an option?
Haven’t got the funds?? I think Montero is a great player just don’t know if he’s good FPL wise. I think he is but he doesn’t seem to the the points.
Mahrez?
Mahrez also on penalty duty right? Good Walcott replacement?
Every set piece takers lists tells me Nugent and Ulloa are ahead of Mahrez on pens, but I don’t personally know who will take em.
He’s on form and if he brings you funds for Agüero, then he’s a fantastic replacement for Wally.
He’s on direct freekicks.
Aaah ok. Well Nugent just moved away from Leicester and Ulloa doesn’t seem first choice anymore either.
@Raz, I would say Mahrez is. I have placed him on our set pieces page as first. It will be updated at the end of the GW. I updated it last week after going through all the games. Well except Bournemouth vs Villa as I didn’t catch that one.
Walcott and Rooney looks like they could be off my team this week…Ayew and Costa in or Mata and Gomis?
I’d say Gomis and Mata.
I’d wait on the Citeh Chelsea game before making that call TJ, a Kun goal could put the back burner on them moves.
That’s the plan!
Tough one TJ. Mata looks lively, so does Gomis.
Have yet to see anything positive from Costa, so for now I’d go with MattX on this one.
Afternoon all still not happinging for me so will probably take an 8 or 12 hit nk GW just to put some things str.
Why not wildcard instead? I don’t think taking 8 or 12 point hits will get you anywhere. The players you bring in could blank next week.
Hey Rubén how are we thought about WC might just go that way but don’t like Wild carding so early
