Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 2 – Fantasy Premier League 2015/16
GW2 is live! This time we are treated to a rarity, a Friday night game. As the Villans welcome in the vaunted Man United attack. However the Red Devils will be missing a key player and we will see what LVG does to offset not having Kyle Walker on the pitch.
If a Friday game wasn’t enough, we are handed a lunch time game between Saints and Everton to kick off our Saturday. Hopefully both teams once again entertain us with goals and bad defending. And please bring on Naismith earlier, the non-Everton fans demand it. Our opening fixture is followed by five 3pm games. The Stokies visit Spurs, a meeting of two sides that will feel hard done to have come away with no points in GW1. In other action Sunderland welcome in Norwich, a match that has everyone very (yawn) excited. Newcastle go to Wales for a match-up with a Swans team that took the game to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. We also see Watford watch the Baggies ride their broken down bus in, after suffering a proper beat down at the hands of the Citizens. The Hammers open their doors to a Leicester team that look really menacing on the attack and in the casino. James Vardy and best mate Okazaki will look to continue to strike fear into defences.
On Sunday we have two fixtures. Pardew will look to continue the good times rolling vs an Arsenal side that is 3 points behind their pace from last season. Strange that, considering they have Petr Cech and he should be worth 12-15 points, maybe it was less, not more? Moving on to the game of the week, well on paper at least. As the most impressive side of GW1, Man City, look for a statement of intent win when they face Jose and a Chelsea side that showed some vulnerabilities on defence.
Monday night sees the game-week come to a conclusion. As Bournemouth makes a trip to Merseyside. Will the Belgian beast get any service? Maybe, if he can convince Ritchie to switch sides before the game.
Don’t forget to also share any experiences if you are participating in any or several of the fanteam.com leagues. Remember scores update in real time, so don’t be shy and let us know how much you are in line to win.

Good luck to absolutely everyone for GW2 from all at FF247!
This just settles it, Aguero in, Rooney out haha. Memphis looks alright, could have scored, should have scored. I will give him time
Next game Newcastle though. 😉
This actually makes things pretty straightforward. The problem was going to be what to do if Rooney started the season on fire and I wanted to keep him and get rid of Benteke for Aguero instead.
Same here. I had no straightforward way of fitting in Kun in gw4 without dropping Rooney, so that’s one headache less.
3 shots on target in 2 games for United, think Rooney can do one.
I think he might be done as a top class striker, looks so far off the pace it’s unreal.
One piece of advice from me…
STAY CALM, ROONEY & DEPAY WON’T DROP TONIGHT.
…(imo)
Lol. Rooney has Newcastle at home next. People would be absolute retards to drop him before that game. Unless they have a real good reason.
Exactly my thoughts
He’ll be in my team until at least Monday. If Aguero starts and scores I’ll find it very hard not to make the switch (I have the exact cash I need to upgrade).
First port of call will most likely be Toure in for Depay/Ramsey.
Toure away to Everton and Depay at home to Newcastle. Not a great deal of sense there
Depay has done nothing…Toure has.
Of course, how Toure plays on Monday will play a big part in my decision making.
Rooney could have Newcastle falcons at home yet and he still wouldn’t get anywhere near the goal.
He touched it once in the area all game according to BBC, dreadful.
Yeah as much as I want to get rid of Depay. Newcastle at home next
Januzaj an option?
Rather have Mahrez.
I don’t think so
I would drop rooney even if it were agianst Sunderland
Not many putting their hand up though.
Oi bitches, why ya ain’t talking here? What I miss? The gameweek is live, don’t go back to old topic. I mean ffs, David and Freddie are right here.
By the way, really glad I didn’t cap Rooney. HAHA. FFF told me I did cap Rooney, I saw that at halftime. Almost had a nervous breakdown there. Seems they didn’t update my account. Which is weird, but aaah well. Few minutes later it was fixed.
Barca v Bilbao is on, i’d say a lot are watching that.
Lol, wasn’t my point mate. Everybody went to an old topic. 😉
