Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 2 – Fantasy Premier League 2015/16
GW2 is live! This time we are treated to a rarity, a Friday night game. As the Villans welcome in the vaunted Man United attack. However the Red Devils will be missing a key player and we will see what LVG does to offset not having Kyle Walker on the pitch.
If a Friday game wasn’t enough, we are handed a lunch time game between Saints and Everton to kick off our Saturday. Hopefully both teams once again entertain us with goals and bad defending. And please bring on Naismith earlier, the non-Everton fans demand it. Our opening fixture is followed by five 3pm games. The Stokies visit Spurs, a meeting of two sides that will feel hard done to have come away with no points in GW1. In other action Sunderland welcome in Norwich, a match that has everyone very (yawn) excited. Newcastle go to Wales for a match-up with a Swans team that took the game to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. We also see Watford watch the Baggies ride their broken down bus in, after suffering a proper beat down at the hands of the Citizens. The Hammers open their doors to a Leicester team that look really menacing on the attack and in the casino. James Vardy and best mate Okazaki will look to continue to strike fear into defences.
On Sunday we have two fixtures. Pardew will look to continue the good times rolling vs an Arsenal side that is 3 points behind their pace from last season. Strange that, considering they have Petr Cech and he should be worth 12-15 points, maybe it was less, not more? Moving on to the game of the week, well on paper at least. As the most impressive side of GW1, Man City, look for a statement of intent win when they face Jose and a Chelsea side that showed some vulnerabilities on defence.
Monday night sees the game-week come to a conclusion. As Bournemouth makes a trip to Merseyside. Will the Belgian beast get any service? Maybe, if he can convince Ritchie to switch sides before the game.
Don’t forget to also share any experiences if you are participating in any or several of the fanteam.com leagues. Remember scores update in real time, so don’t be shy and let us know how much you are in line to win.

I’ma have 3 of Kolarov, Yaya, Silva, and Aguero in my WC team, no doubt. Triple up, folks.
What about hart as kolarov will get rotated, him kun and silva for me, moanrinhio needs to stop trying to wind everyone up and take a look in the mirror and focus on his own ageing team of has beens lol
FPL site crashed?
That’ll just be me ultra clicking the WC confirm button 😉
lol. I think it’s time Andy, I can’t just sit by and do nothing. I’ve got what looks like a great team on paper but they just aren’t scoring points. The usual go-to players/teams have been dumped on their heads and I think I need to shake things up ASAP.
BTW, does anyone know exactly when the price changes are happening this season? They used to be around 2:00am GMT, but I thought someone said they were happening later now…
Think the whole world seems to be right now!
Fingers.crossed, not using mine.
3million wild cards have just been activated
Minus one, I’m not activating mine.
Where can you see that mate?
Happy with my side, currently on 77 points with high point potential next week, very good start considering how a lot of people here are doing and…. my WC doesn’t need to be used!
@Fudgy, come here mate, follow us over here in the back of the building we want to present with a trophy. 😉
Another awful week for me! Highest scoring player picked up 3 points! Think like many others I need to get some City coverage in soon as they look really good. Have Ivanovic and Hazard who haven’t looked great! I have 2FT’s. I’m thinking of Rooney & Sterling out for Aguero and a cheap (6.5m or less) midfielder. Any recommendations? Mahrez/ Montero perhaps?! Thanks.
Don’t want to W/C before the window is closed so I’m still waiting till at least GW4, the league should also have settled after 4 weeks, surely?
Kun & Silva in for Haz & Rooney?
Kola seems like the real bonus point magnet. Problem is rotation, by the looks of it he will get the 3 today, despite not even having an assist. He was only outpointed by Kompany by one last week in the BPS despite Kompany scoring a goal and this week he outscored Kompany despite the Belgian scoring. If he plays he definitely looks the best defender to have, he created 4 shots today, so he seems highly involved in the creating for City. On top of whatever set pieces he gets. Problem is will he get rotated.
Kun, just get him
Silva still looked the main creator, but one can make a case for Yaya at the cheaper price. I think you get similar return for money with them two. Silva is worth the price, but since we all need money to get other players, Yaya is a suitable replacement. The Ivorian created 3 chances ( Same as Silva) the difference was that he took 4 shots compared to Silva’s zero. Still think Silva is the best midfield asset, but is certainly close between the two. Sterling seems to be deferring a lot more than I hoped for. Was hoping Kun would create more space for him today, but he still seemed just ok, nothing special.
Hazard and Costa had one shot each. That is pathetic. Cesc had the ball a great amount, in fact way more than anyone in the game. He only took 1 shot and created 2. Haz should have scored and you could say similar for Costa with their one shot. Nevertheless it was still only one shot, which is piss poor. The CFC defence looks really slow and just bad. But in the last two seasons they have started out really slow when it comes to clean sheets. They seem to really start clicking somewhere after week 10 or so. Think Oscar was a big miss today. He looked their best player vs Swansea.
Great analysis Mito, completely agree!
How ideal would it be for Clichy to be sold…
If you have so much as a rumour from a decent source, I night bring Kola in. 😉
