Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 2 – Fantasy Premier League 2015/16
GW2 is live! This time we are treated to a rarity, a Friday night game. As the Villans welcome in the vaunted Man United attack. However the Red Devils will be missing a key player and we will see what LVG does to offset not having Kyle Walker on the pitch.
If a Friday game wasn’t enough, we are handed a lunch time game between Saints and Everton to kick off our Saturday. Hopefully both teams once again entertain us with goals and bad defending. And please bring on Naismith earlier, the non-Everton fans demand it. Our opening fixture is followed by five 3pm games. The Stokies visit Spurs, a meeting of two sides that will feel hard done to have come away with no points in GW1. In other action Sunderland welcome in Norwich, a match that has everyone very (yawn) excited. Newcastle go to Wales for a match-up with a Swans team that took the game to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. We also see Watford watch the Baggies ride their broken down bus in, after suffering a proper beat down at the hands of the Citizens. The Hammers open their doors to a Leicester team that look really menacing on the attack and in the casino. James Vardy and best mate Okazaki will look to continue to strike fear into defences.
On Sunday we have two fixtures. Pardew will look to continue the good times rolling vs an Arsenal side that is 3 points behind their pace from last season. Strange that, considering they have Petr Cech and he should be worth 12-15 points, maybe it was less, not more? Moving on to the game of the week, well on paper at least. As the most impressive side of GW1, Man City, look for a statement of intent win when they face Jose and a Chelsea side that showed some vulnerabilities on defence.
Monday night sees the game-week come to a conclusion. As Bournemouth makes a trip to Merseyside. Will the Belgian beast get any service? Maybe, if he can convince Ritchie to switch sides before the game.
Don’t forget to also share any experiences if you are participating in any or several of the fanteam.com leagues. Remember scores update in real time, so don’t be shy and let us know how much you are in line to win.

I’m afraid the confirm wildcard button may well be selected in the very near future! A measly 12 points so far this gameweek and an overall of 31 so far all equates to an overall rank somewhere around 2.7 million. Then we have my defenders (who currently have gained a grand total of 3 points between them in two gameweeks!) 1 suspended and 2 who haven’t played once this season and 1 which played the first week but not this week really does cry out for changes! Wildcard a good choice bearing in mind this is my current team?
Looks like a team that needs remodeling if you ask me. The defense alone makes me think that. Mids and forwards should in theory do better, but they just aren’t.
I can certainly see a strong case for wilcarding here. Not too hard to get the in-form mids/strikers in your team with FTs and minor hits but since you have those problems with your defence to deal with I’d be very tempted.
Crazy start to the Fantasy this year and its really left ???? Marks. Aguero, Sanchez, and Silva are 3 players i really want in my side, but do i take Hazard and Rooney out?. Mahrez, Barkley, and Payet are all looking fantastic, especially Barkley. I really think this is a big season for him. Will things all go back to normal or is this a season where surprises are gonna keep happening.
Ant try sit tight especially if you have 2FT, obviously Kun needs to get in asap! When the window closes 4 games will have passed and I believe that could be a good time to WC.
Chelsea have just now officially announced the signing of left back Baba Rahman
They might need to announce more signings to compete for the title this season. If City keep looking good they are going to wish they had this window back.
Anyone thought about Sagna at 5mill?
Sagna probably a bigger risk than Kola.
Haha, 23 pts for me with Benteke left. Brilliant :cry-lol:
My other team has 50 points with two players left. FIFTY
Evening all.
Got 2 ft transfers where do u think I should use these?
Keep Rooney ? Or give him 1 more chance
Kun worries me.
@ShaneC, Kun has been bought by 20k managers in the last two hours or so. He will probably rise more than once. I am buying this week. He was unlucky not to grabbed a hatty today. Rooney plays Newcastle so it makes it hard, but I think I rather have Kun vs anyone right now. Probably would drop Mane or Sterling to make it work.
Cheers mito was thinking Rooney to kun and sterling to mahrez or some1.
Just got a bad feeling Rooney will do well at home to Newcastle. Could easily use my wildcard but trying to hold out.
@Shanec, I always get that feeling before I drop a player I think should or will produce at some point. That ill feeling that the transfer will come back to bite me. I have Roon and I will most likely sell him for Kun. No WC though, might take a 4 point hit to do it and bring in Sanchez with him.
